A modern logo for a nightclub"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Certain businesses and industries naturally have a particular vibe, such as a floral shop being pretty or the construction industry being rugged. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/blog\/test-logo\/\">When creating logos<\/a> and branding for your business, it\u2019s important to match the feel customers expect.\u00a0In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/business\/business-logos\/which-club-logo-do-you-like-O95B0D2P\">this PickFu poll<\/a>, the entrepreneurs behind a nightclub tested out two designs for a modern logo. Both options have the same color palette and feature the business name\u00a0<em>Levels Nightclub<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, each modern logo design features different fonts and spacing. Option A uses a rounded, bubbly font for the word\u00a0<em>Levels<\/em>, while Option B uses a sharper, edgier font. Out of 50 total votes, Option A got just 18 votes while Option B came away with 32.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a closer look at why Option B won this poll.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"customers-expect-a-sleek-imagenbspnbspnbsp\"><strong>Customers expect a sleek image   <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Customers expect a nightclub to come across as sleek, sophisticated, and trendy. The branding for&nbsp;<em>Levels Nightclub&nbsp;<\/em>needs to meet that expectation. Looking through the comments from respondents, Option B won because it was closer to what they were expecting to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A young man commented, \u201cThis one seems more edgy, more sophisticated, more classy and upscale.\u201d Another man had similar thoughts, saying he liked \u201cthe sharper line in the font on Choice B. It just gives it that style that I&#8217;d associate with a nightclub more than the rounded font of Choice A.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"keep-your-modern-logo-easy-to-read%25c2%25a0\"><strong>Keep your modern logo easy to read\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>While Option B won the poll, both logos had a lot of feedback around the readability of the fonts. There were several comments for Option B including, \u201cI prefer B. I think it&#8217;s easier to read,\u201d \u201cI think that this one is easier to read,\u201d and \u201cB because it is easier to read for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Option A had similar comments. Respondents left comments like, \u201cYou can read this one a lot better,\u201d \u201cIt is more clear than the other option,\u201d and \u201cI liked A better because you can see more of each letter clearly than in B.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lesson from this feedback is that the logo you decide on must be clear and easy to read. As clever as you want to be with your design, you can\u2019t sacrifice the legibility of a business logo.
