These sponsored ads may show up in search results when people look for a certain item. If you&#8217;re not, chances are they&#8217;re not performing as well as they could be. Let&#8217;s go over how to advertise on Amazon and improve your campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-keywords\">Keywords<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Exploring keyword options is the first step in your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/blog\/amazon-ppc-optimization\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Amazon PPC campaign<\/a>. Brainstorm keywords that relate to your listing \u2014 anything a customer might type in the Amazon search bar to find a product like yours. If you&#8217;re stuck, use the search bar on Amazon itself for an easy way to find automatically-suggested keywords. There are plenty of different socks out there, and if you focus on keywords that are overly broad, you lessen your chance of ranking well. A long-tail keyword such as <em>compression socks for people with diabetes<\/em> is easier to rank for and usually converts better than a generic keyword. Long-tail keywords are generally four words or more, such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>compression socks for diabetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compression socks for elderly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>diabetic compression socks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>diabetic socks for women plus size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compression socks for men plus size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>diabetic socks for women<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to add long-tail keywords to your Amazon ads so that when people search for something as specific as the above, your listing is shown.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-negative-keywords\">Negative keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Negative keywords make sure your ads <strong>don&#8217;t<\/strong> show in places that aren&#8217;t relevant. Eliminating irrelevant keywords helps control your ad spend. Prioritize products in reverse order of how many orders you&#8217;ve received. By doing this, you&#8217;ll allocate your budget to the products that need it most. <\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-consistency\">Consistency<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/blog\/test-your-business-name\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"same language (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">same language<\/a> and keywords in your PPC ads as you do in your Amazon product listing.
