Apple\u2019s iTunes was second with 19%, and Google Play came in at third with 10%. (While popular for podcasts and music, Spotify hasn\u2019t quite cracked the top ranks with audiobooks yet.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/wrxlMWfkyHWW0Z-Sdumyx1bCsmuEv98-DlkUs47_WBNPu4Sa3-H__VkOvQAEMHBA8wxGb1lH_MPwS_iIcb3HlKwWUFvIbbmi_eA0w3OLaLYkaQX7ruajkyUjRJhExc20Mi6E57xFZxRHEk7fSyr31Ps\" alt=\"Poll results for question, &quot;Where do you most frequently buy audiobooks online?\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the comments from respondents, it seems convenience is one of the biggest reasons for Audible audiobooks being so popular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI use Audible the most, because I have an account there, and I find it extremely convenient.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI have had an Audible subscription on and off a few times throughout the years. I find the platform to be the easiest to use. I like their app. I have also tried Google, but the Audible app is far superior.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI mostly purchase audiobooks on Audible online because it is convenient and easy to access.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/xgNM1Xp0KXIhv6b5m2sRXmlnUCLYRliZELC97JkFtqUbJWnVpd9HngZEiKE22U9zGPncbQE_q0LRDb6gO7iH68SlyhG-SecQBjpr-JA33FSZHdwGyx6-8LrtQDU7bnfKAVjR9olItU9lE64zyl0atAI\" alt=\"Screenshot of responses, Option A\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We wanted to take the research a little further to determine what factors respondents consider when purchasing an audiobook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/results\/ZSoEa53UmW\">51% of respondents polled<\/a> said genre is the most critical factor they consider.
