The answer is anything but clear cut, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/business\/business-logos\/which-logo-do-you-prefer-for-a-curly-hair-product-line-YY4WYSS0\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"this PickFu poll suggests (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">this PickFu poll suggests<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A brand wanted feedback on two completely different logos for a curly hair product line called Crazy Curly. So did the logo&#8217;s wavy edging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Option B is more readable, other respondents said. One woman said the squiggle in Option A makes the name look like Crazy Cury, something the brand should think about as it moves forward with this product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image caption-align-left\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"326\" height=\"312\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1.jpeg 326w, https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1-313x300.jpeg 313w, https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1-300x287.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1-286x274.jpeg 286w, https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1-120x115.jpeg 120w, https:\/\/blog.pickfu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/crazy-curly-option-a-1-126x121.jpeg 126w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Many respondents liked the curves of this logo.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Respondents also had <a aria-label=\"strong opinions about Option A's tagline, &quot;For millennial moms,&quot; (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pickfu.com\/business\/business-logos\/which-logo-do-you-prefer-for-a-curly-hair-product-line-YY4WYSS0#ftext=millennial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">strong opinions about Option A&#8217;s tagline, &#8220;For millennial moms&#8221;<\/a> \u2014 even those who voted for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The extra words at the bottom aren&#8217;t necessary because it makes it seem like this product is only For Millennial Moms. That&#8217;s not cool,&#8221; wrote one respondent in the 25-34 age group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has a point. People of all ages, parents and non-parents alike, have curly hair. Why wouldn&#8217;t this product be OK for anyone with curly hair to use? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, as another respondent pointed out, <em>millennial<\/em> is a loaded word. It&#8217;s just not smart business, especially where millennial is a dirty word to some of these other generations.&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;Option B: looks clean, simplistic, without being overly done and wasteful in design. Makes me think of a prestigious salon brand. Easy to read and follow along. Option A: reminds me of a kid&#8217;s shampoo, specially the 3 in 1 shower\/shampoo watermelon smell from the brand Suave.&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;Ummmm&#8230;first of all, why is Option A only marketed to millennial moms? Older and younger people have curly hair. So that&#8217;s one reason I don&#8217;t like that logo. I also don&#8217;t like the &#8216;l&#8217; in the word Curly, so Option B is my favorite by a mile!&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;Option A is definitely more original, transforming the L into a curl. Option B is quite boring, nothing special about it. Could be for any product, not related to curls.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-takeaways\">Key takeaways<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>First things first: even if your product is geared toward millennial women, don&#8217;t say so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you wonder what the results of this poll would&#8217;ve been if Option A didn&#8217;t include that tagline? Maybe respondents would have chosen it in a landslide, instead of a trickle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, think hard before choosing a quirky design like Option A. While you want your logo to be unique, consumers should still be able to read it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Option A may have won this poll.
