I would not as the subject does not really interest me after reading the description.
The book seems effective in terms of what it has to offer and I'd check it out
I personally would not purchase this book because I believe most life advice can be sourced freely on the internet.
Probably not since I'm not in any type of leadership position
I would. I love self-improvement books.
I would buy this book because I believe there is wisdom in the military that I can learn from that would work well with building relationships and working on my career.
Probably not as honestly most "leadership" advice books are all nonsense and just contain random platitudes and story. They are also usually out of date and out of touch with the modern generation.
No, I would not. It just seems to generic, it doesnt stand out really in any way from the thousands of other self help books out there.
Not really, it just seems like another buzz-word filled leadership book. There's already too many books like that out that for me to want to read another.
I would not be interested in a book dealing with leadership since I am content with my leadership skills.
No I would not as none of it sound any interesting to me.
Nao really that interesting to me, not my preferred style
I'm sure many will find it appealing, but it's not a book that I'm interested in. First, I don't care for titles with numbers in them... "Top Ten..." "33 Ways" -- I find it unoriginal and limiting. Additionally, I think the description asks way too many questions. I'd prefer it say what the book is, actually describe it.
I think this would make an interesting read for someone that needs an inspirational read or a read to help them get their lives on track and to do business if that is their goal. This book is really not for me and I would not buy it. But I do think it is good for people who are interested in this kind of thing
This book feels inspiring and interesting, I think that I would give this book a chance and see if it is able to keep my attention
This isn't something that interests me and i would have zero desire to ever lead or manage a business in a way that resembles the US military.
This would probably be an interesting read about this author but I do not really care to learn his lessons about leading. I would probably not buy this book.
It seems to share his personal experiences with life and how to overcome challenges so why not.
I would buy the book and read it immediately. I think there would be a lot to learn from an Admiral/Top Gun pilot. I am very pro-military and I believe I can learn a lot from this book.
I would get this book. I think something like this could help me out in the long run.
I would consider buying this book. I feel the theme is incisive and useful, and could help those in leadership positions to lead their "teams" to success.
Sometimes productivity and reinventing myself as a leader is a bit difficult in my current organization. I think I am confident that this book will help me to gain more skills to lead better effective teams, meet current and new expectations, build and trust relationships and be a warrior. This seems fresh knowledge and you just want me to lead to win.
Based on the indepth description, I think I would pass on this book. I'm not really into this genre.
I wouldn't read it because its not that the kind of books I'm into but it sounds like a powerful personal story.
I personally wouldn't buy this book as I don't really see myself as a leader/manager. It does sound very useful if you have one of those roles with your career though.
I would buy this book because the author seems well-qualified for books on topics like these. He is a very accomplished person.
Most likely. The author bio looks credible and the book descriptions is inspiring.
No. I would not personally purchase this books. I do not think leadership should be run like a military veteran or as the government does today. I do think I would get the most out of this book.
No, I would not buy it. I might read it if I could do so for free, but I wouldn't seek it out. It's just not a genre I care for.
it sounds like a helpful self-help book, it would be something I would look for if i needed some help in some areas but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase.
No. Because I am not interested in managing people or progressing in leadership. When I read, I do that to get away from work and daily life. Aka, for professional development I leave it to my job, learn from experience.
I THINK ITS RATHER DULL AND CLICHE SO I WOULDN'T REALLY GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT
I am not in the military and have no interest leading a military style life. This reads like a self help book and I personally believe you should find your own way in life and stop taking advice from random books you found.
Yes, I would buy the book I like learning about leadership.
the breakdown of advice in this book appeals to me the most because i'm a cut to the chase sort of guy
Yes i would buy this book because it would help me to develop people skills and communicate better
Yes as the narrative is very compelling and the credentials of a leader are described beautifully
Yes I think this person would have some interesting insights and lessons
No, I would not buy this book. To be honest, the description of the contents does not in any way sound original. Instead, it seems like an amalgamation of ideas and concepts that have already been covered at length by other authors, self help gurus, and leadership Jedi masters. What is he bringing to the table that others, such as Jocko Willink, haven't already served up?
This seems too hardcore military to really help me become a leader so I would probably pass and not find it helpful for me personally.
Based on the book description, I would absolutely be interested in checking this out. I find the topic of leadership and improving on it to be extremely interesting. It is a good trait to have, and to get tips from someone with that much experience sounds like a very informative and educational read. I feel this type of book would be good for overall life lessons as well.
Yes,I think it has a lot of information that I could use for myself, I can tell it would be full of information on how I can be successful for myself.
yes I would, The reason being is given the Author's experience in leadership and his successes through out his life
I read through the title and you basically convinced me to pick this cover up and read it. One of the factors was that the author has been to Top Gun Academy and I am a big fan of Top gun especially when the 2nd movie that recently was screened. I would like to know how a fighter pilot as a leader would think and might help me become a better leader and learn a few tricks from him. This definitely is a good description. Please do not change a word in it.
I wouldn't buy it as I'm not into it.
Definitely yes. The author bio is very impressive and the book summary description looks like it has a lot of inspiring ideas.
No. I would not. It is way too wordy. I would never make it through the end before I decided to move on. I also don’t see how a top gun commander has to do with helping me set and full fill expectations. He is successful but it is not translatable to me.
I would likely skip over a purchase of this book. The subject matter doesn't appeal to me and some of the details seem rather excessive in nature.
I would not read this book because it really doesn't interest me. I don't really have any need or want to learn how to be a leader.
Yes, its a good book on how to better yourself
