I'd like to know more about why truth is a flightless bird. Very intriguing title.

I thought options A and C really had hooking and intriguing book titles that would make me interested about the book. Option D is decent however it is a worse version of option A and I am not sure what a marabou is in terms of option B therefore I did not pick that choice.

A is the best title. It sounds the most like a title. C is fine too. D is a worse version of A. B has moan and has another word which I don't know so I don't care for it.

Truth is a flightless bird really makes me think it will have interesting content and will be well-written. I think that it draws me in the most and it would definitely be the one I'd pick up if I only saw the spines of the books and these four were together. Lies agreed upon has a somewhat inspiring and yet ominous feel to it, so I am really interested in seeing the contents of the book! It seems like it would have a good plot and writing style. It's vague and yet intriguing. Similar to option a, I liked option c third best. I think that the wording makes it seem like the author wants to be more sophisticated so it COULD be well-written or it could also be trying to look like it was well written. Because of this, I am a bit hesitant to choose it as number one. It's good overall but I have some lingering doubts because of how other books have been with this kind of title. Moan of the marabou feels rather dull and doesn't grab my attention so I'm not inclined to see what kind of book it is. It's not my typical type of book title, and I wouldn't be too sure what the story, genre, or content is based on the title alone.

The title involving the flightless bird is kind of confusing but it makes me want to see what the book is about. The other titles don't really do it for me.

Truth is a flightless bird seems like quite an aesthetically pleasing book name. I envision a feel good story about learning life lessons through a bird hopping around. Option A is slightly preferable over D as it's more concise. I had to look what a marabou is, but I find Option B quite intriguing and it definitely peaked my interest. I didn't even know Storks moaned. Option C just feels very generic, why would I care about lies for characters that I don't know anything about.

A is best then D - they at least make some kind of sense in a poetic fashion, C is a little too loose a title and can mean many things, B is just odd.

This one is hard. Titles have a certain mental pull. A is something that has multiple possibilities. I am intrigued. C also has many possibilities, but not the same as A. I would expect a completely different book. For some reason D doesn't hit the same intrigue. I don't think I would pick it up. B is a title I would pass right by. Unless it was part of a series I was reading.

I really like option A and how the book title is a saying with a deeper and very true meaning. I also like that it is short and to the point.

I like the title "Lies agreed upon" because it sounds like a mysterious topic that could cover any range of topics. I think the two about truth being related to a flightless bird are also quite interesting.

I picked C because it seemed to be the most interesting and most straight forward title. I found the other titles to be too symbolic sounding. I don't want a metaphor or simile for a title. I want a title that tells me what the book is about and that I understand.

C is interesting since it's a contradicting statement so it automatically peaks my interest. I don't like the word moan in the title but the double M makes the title roll off the tongue. A is kinda clunky as a title but D is worse.

Option C is the most intriguing and captures your attention more right off the bat. It is the most unique and doesn't sound like something we have heard a 100 times before. It also lets the reader imagine what the book is about and you can understand a little more of what it might entail, but are still intrigued enough to want to know more. Option C would appeal to a wider audience of people and would make them more likely to check deeper into what it has to offer.

I really don't care for any of these, and probably wouldn't read any of these titles. Of the four, I like C the most, or perhaps dislike it the least. It sounds to me like a book on recent history or politics. I can't discern what the remaining three are talking about - they don't catch my interest. A and D are both just too precious, and B sounds like a bad nature book. I'd leave all of these on the shelf.

It sounds like an open ended question a little - which interest me and makes me want to take a look inside the book to see what the story is like and if the reading will flow as well as the title. Option A was similar but didn't have quite the same poetry as option D. Option C seemed a bit unfinished, I felt like that was something missing from the title and option B just confused me, I probably would walk right past that book without wanting to pick it up and learn more.

D would have my interest for what it's about. C seems interested and I would want to know what it's about as well. B is kind of cool, it would make me curious. A is much too similar to D

I ranked the potential book titles that I liked the most. I found the name "For truth is a flightless bird" to be the best sounding title. I then liked the title "Truth is a flightless bird" followed by "Lies agreed upon" and then finally "Moan of the marabou".
