Like the description in B better.

A

better selection to displey

A

i like phrase better

A

A flows well off the tongue.

A

I like the use of the word simple, it draws you in.

A

It sounds like it is speaking to me, i do idependant work and this calls to me

A

People like having help when they work independently.

A

It lets you know that it helps make work simple

A

The message is clearer. Empowering is vague.

A

Sounds more appealing

A

"Made Simple" speaks to me more than "Empowering"

A

It is catchy. It is relevant to the kind of work you are doing.

A

option A is more appealing

A

i like how its saying your work is independent but also simple. makes it seem very easy

A

relating here is the issue

A

Empowering to me would mean they are going to give me pep talks and networking or something like that. Choice A clearly sounded like business solutions for self employed people.

A

A is more approachable. Simplicity is key and the empowering line doesn't convey that idea at all.

A

easier to understand

A

It shows the concept of indepedent work

A

Image A is more attractive

A

The other tag sounds like too much jargon.

A

I want my work to be simple not empowered

A

Saying "independent work made simple" makes the website sound more useful. We're always looking for new ways to make our work more efficient and this phrase conveys that well. "Empowered/Empowering" has become an overused phrase.

A

i like the independence as I work best alone

A

people will want to work more

A

Simpler, less confusing title

A

This phrase makes more sense and implies that this app/site would make your job easier. If you are working independently you should already be "empowered" so to speak.

A

I chose A because it was more professional in its wording.

A

I think "Independent work made simple" clearly expresses the company's goal - to simplify a sole proprietor's business by taking care of back office functions allowing the business owner to focus on his customers. Also, I think this phrase just sounds better than "Empowering independent work". Empowering is a word I feel is overused, and I'm not sure one can empower work; empowering workers would make more sense.

A

People are always looking for an easier way to do things. Whether it's apps on their tablets or phones, or other short cuts they can take in life. Telling them the site makes things simple will draw more people to it. They are already doing the independent work, but this tells them it will be easier for them.

I like this one better because it really gets down to the nitty gritty. Who doesn't want to be empowered while they are working?

B

I picked b because it makes it feel like the person is the one doing the work and the company is just helping

B

Empowering is always attractive

B

The title to B is more sensible and is more clear than A.

B

I like the word empowering it sounds more positive

B

I love the use of the work empowering

B

this firs better cause it means more of a guide for customers to do it themselves

B

the word empowering makes you feel stronger

B

be did not dumb down the idea, empowering is always a good word for motivation

B

I love the word empower, it makes me feel like the power is in my hands!

B

b sounds more attractive to me

B

I think both are good, and convey to the viewer that this is a beneficial service to them in their work, but I think it's better to feel empowered in your work than to think your work will be made simple.

B

I think empowering work is much more effective tagline.

B

This is easier to understand and not so wordy as the other

B

I chose option b because i like the word empowered they put on the title it fits better than the title on option a.

B

I like empowering better, has a better feel

B

simplifying something just doesn't tell enough. empowering is a much better word since it tells that they are giving something to independent workers

B

Sounds more appealing and powerful.

B

Best option in my opinion

B

this makes independent work seem less boring and achieveable

Survey Analysis

Winning Option: Characteristics and Appeal

  • Option B emerged as the preferred brand packaging design, securing 12 out of 15 votes. Respondents frequently highlighted its aesthetic appeal, emphasizing the luxurious and high-quality impression it conveys. The ability to stack packages was a notable practical advantage mentioned by participants.
  • Several respondents appreciated the monochrome color scheme of Option B, which they found less overwhelming compared to more colorful designs. This preference for simplicity suggests that minimalistic designs may resonate well with this group.
  • Additionally, environmental considerations played a role in favoring Option B; some participants noted its reduced plastic usage and recyclability as attractive features.

Key Topics Across Options

  1. Aesthetic Appeal: Across both options, aesthetics were crucial in influencing preferences. Participants often referred to colors and overall design quality when justifying their choices.

  2. Environmental Concerns: Both options had respondents who valued environmentally friendly aspects of packaging. However, while Option A was praised for being reusable and eco-friendly by some, others perceived Option B’s reduced plastic use as more sustainable.

  3. Practicality: Practical elements such as ease of stacking (Option B) or suitability for travel (Option B) were significant factors in decision-making processes.

Hypotheses for Further Testing

  • Investigate whether minimalistic designs consistently outperform colorful ones across different demographic groups or product categories.

  • Explore if environmental messaging on packaging significantly influences consumer preference when compared with other attributes like luxury perception or practicality.

  • Assess how important stacking capability is relative to other functional benefits in various contexts such as home storage versus travel convenience.

These hypotheses can guide further research into understanding deeper consumer motivations behind packaging preferences observed in this survey context.
