On a scale of 1-5, how interested are you in this idea?

I think it is an interesting idea, but I do not think it is actually a viable option to reduce time on your cell phone. The different aspects have potential, but they are focused on other things outside of the main problem. Due to all of these factors, I am not interested in the idea of the product and would not use it personally.
I would not use this. I am an adult who can regulate my phone use on my own. This makes me feel like a child. What if my child is trying to contact me while the phone is locked? This just wouldn't work for me
While I think the idea is creative and would be great for some, I think that it could be harmful in the case of an emergency when someone needs to really use their phone.
Do you want people to self regulate their cell phone usage and hoping that works out as a product. So you want to give people a stand-up they pay you for it?
Nice thought and attempt to solve the phone addiction issue, but you overlooked a critical point. What if the person with the locked phone is in an emergency situation and cannot use the phone to contact help? Does the lock feature allow for emergency phone call use? The absence of this makes the lock feature more dangerous than helpful. The UV light feature option is completely unrelated to the phone addiction issue and might be viewed as a marketing scheme to just sell the primary product.
I give it a low score because this isn't personally for me. I don't have a problem with my phone and I wouldn't want my phone to be locked up in the event of an emergency. I would rather my child learn how to distance himself from unhealthy things in a more positive and tailored way for him.
I think this product is a great idea! I believe this because it will help parents keep their kids focus and away from the screen so they can absorb other things around them, and it will help production of said individuals.
I think it's a good idea, but I'm not sure how many people would actually purchase it. A lot of newer phones now have timers built in such as this that they can set to lock their phone, lock certain apps, etc. for a designated time period. Many people also want to have the freedom to have a case that they like versus one that is provided that perhaps they won't like as much, or doesn't have as much protection as some of the fall protection cases on the market today. I think what the company is going for is very important and I do believe people spend too much time on their phones, but I'm not sure that this is a product that would actually work.
I think the idea is good and something worth pursuing. I know I suffer from phone addition myself and sometimes I catch myself opening up my phone just out of habit even when I have nothing in particular to do on it. This detracts from the personal interactions in my life, so a product like this has the potential to be useful.
I am highly interested in this idea for Go Efficiency is unique and compelling.
Only downside i see if an emergency call comes in..... how do you take it?
sounds nice as a UV killer for bacteria but I can do a lock on my phone through screen time so not really necessary
I like the idea of the UV light but I'd only use this product if there was some sort of lock override. I could imagine needing a phone in an emergency or needing to be able to answer an unexpected phone call.
I am pretty sure I prefer just to use the "Screen Time" feature built into the IOS (iPhone) operating system. Screen Time sets a limit on usage per day, and lets the user manage how that time gets used.
Sounds like a great idea. Some people are so much into that phone. I don't use my phone except for phone calls and a rare text. I think people that spend tons of time on social media are not smart. It is useless. Thank you.
As someone who tends to use their phone at night, I am very interested.
Not for cell phones but for the hand held games, yes!
I think it sounds great because I know this is a large issue for many, myself included, that I want to get better at.
It is easy to disregard a timer. Maybe it would work for children, but not adults who have busy lives. Work is priority and we need our electronics.
This is one of the best products I have heard about. It is much needed as so many younger people are becoming anti social and not taking care of other responsibilities . The UV light would be a great addition!
Being more efficient and using devices when appropriate would be ideal for my situation. However, I feel the overall effectiveness of a timer would be low and the significance to my life also trivial.
I like the idea in general but I am worried about safety of the user. Most people use a phone as their only source of communication. I really think this is a good concept for other electronics, especially those used by younger children.
I like this idea. I think if people will really use it like it is designed for it will help with addiction. I also think that people will use it at first, but then will manipulate it to go back to old habits. I do think it would be great for parents to have it on their kid's devices to help them not get addicted to electronics.
The information is true
I would be very interested in this idea because I know I spend way too much time on my phone. The only think I would want to know is if text messages and phone calls would be able to come through when the lock is in effect.
I like this idea because people who are addicted to their smartphones will not cut back on usage unless something like this or someone intervenes. They are truly addicted and need support to break the cycle.
I find this product to be very useful and needed these days. People spend way too much time on their phones and sometimes the only way to stop it is to have locks such as these.
I am interested but I am confused if this is a physical lock that the user must put the device in or if this is some software that is implemented. I think it is an interesting concept that has already been somewhat implemented on the iPhone.
this is a very innovative idea for our busy lifestyles and our current needs to protect ourselves from disease.
i really love the idea but more than just the write up id love to see visuals as well
I really don't like this idea, unless we have use of the phone for phone calls only. You never mentioned getting and receiving phone calls. I know some people have problems with using their phones all the time for unnecessary things. This would help them, but please add that they will still be able to make and receive phone calls during the time the phone is locked, in case of emergencies.
The features are very impressive, an innovation that help us to resist unnecessary attached to our phones. I really like this innovation.
Go Efficiency would be wonderful to get the kids to do their homework and chores quickly rather than argue about getting off the phone and doing what they need to do. The bad side to this would be having businesses require their employees to employ this program when starting work and only allow the unlock at lunch and when leaving work. The restriction of freedom to use the phone instead of getting things done in a timely manner is sometimes hard to balance.
I think it's a great idea to boost productivity! I'd try it.
I don't think I would use it. I know I probably am guilty of using my phone more than I should and would like to use it less, but I also think there are times when locking my phone could cause problems. I don't have a computer so I use my phone to look up information if I needed any, and I would also be worried that I wouldn't be able to send or receive messages and could have an important message missed.
This is a good idea but I would like to be able to get to my cell phone in an emergency.
Yes this is the good idea.Even better, Go Efficiency can be used for other electronic devices such as laptop, computers, or game consoles such as Nintendo Switch.
I think I'm disciplined with my phone, and sometimes I need it for emergencies. So locking it would not be appealing to me!
Phone efficiency and addiction is a real problem
I wouldn't want to lock it away. It doesn't seem necessary and can be problematic if you actually need for emergency.
I don’t like the idea of being restricted from my phone. There could be an emergency or issue that needs to be addressed in this time.
I really would appreciate this for self awareness and accountablility. I really like I can use it on my childrens devices to help them keep track.
There is no way I'm going to pay for keys but locked me out of my phone what if there was an emergency and I need emergency services. This just does not work.
If I felt I had a problem I would use it, but I have no problem with the amount of time spent on my phone
It is an effective way to manage phone addiction. It improves view time discipline
It sounds like a good product for those interested in this sort of thing. Personally I don't feel bad about using my phone as much as I want. The few joys in life we are given, like laughing at a meme on Instagram, are few and far between these days.
This is a great idea and I'd personally love to use it, it'd definitely assist young people to be disciplined and more productive with their time. I rate it 5 !
Well, I have children and responsibilities that require me to be available to answer in the shortest time possible. It’s it up to me as a lot of people in this situation to develop a habit of not being on the phone. The features are great yet to have a phone locked in an emergency is detrimental and hazardous to my health and my family.
I think that the concept is a good idea. It can allow you to be free of distractions. It would need to have a way to be able to make a emergency call if something should happen and you need to use your phone.
First of all, I don't like the use of the word "probably" in the opening sentence. Be definitive! While I like the idea of reducing screen time, it just really scares me that I might miss something vitally important with the phone being locked--and by vitally, I mean information that truly affects me (Information about a loved one, etc). One more thing--I put the part about killing viruses and bacteria much higher--especially in these times that cold be a game changer to the success of this product.
