- I would not be interested in using a marriage app for my husband and I. I definitely wouldn't pay for it and wouldn't download a trial either. We've been together 19 years, married for 16 of those. I don't think an app would make a positive difference because our recent problems are due to my husbands inability to set his tablet and phone down. This may be something beneficial to younger couples. But, if I want someone to weigh in on our marital issues, it will be a professional doing that job in person, to see the facial expressions and reactions of us to call us out on our lying. An app is never going to be able to help with deeper problems. And an event reminder? Everyone already has a calendar on their phone!
- I don't think this is an area where apps have any business. I like the idea of getting tips or using it as a reminder to show my husband a little more attention but I don't think that "evaluating" our relationship is a great idea. I don't want to feel like I am being graded and compared to other couples. Every relationship is unique and should be treated as such. I wouldn't want to pay for something like this but if a couple was really struggling I can see how it may be useful for them and may recommend it.
