# Competitive comparisons

> Run competitive comparison polls on PickFu — example questions to uncover competitor strengths, weaknesses, brand perception, and why customers switch.

The number one statement our CS team makes to our sellers for competitive comparisons is- your competitors are using tools like PickFu to compete and optimize against you, you can and should be doing the same.

Creating a competitor landscape involves understanding your competitor's strengths, weaknesses and customer perceptions. This can be achieved through well-structured polls and surveys.

## Questions you could ask:

"What words or phrases come to mind when you think of \[*insert brand name*]? Have you used them before?"

"Which brand do you currently use for \[*insert product/service*]?"

"Have you ever switched from one brand to another for \[*insert product/service*]? If so, what prompted the switch?"

"Which brand do you consider the market leader in \[*product/service category*]? Why?"

"If you were shopping for \[*insert product*], which of the following products would you most likely choose and why?"
