# Product design

> Poll consumers on product design during development, with sample questions about features, colors, and improvements that drive purchase decisions.

If you are in the development stage of a new product or looking to make improvements to your product, you should be collecting insights directly from your consumer market to drive the direction of what version is going to sell.

## Questions you could ask:

"If you were in the market for \[*insert product*], what are the key features you would want it to have?"

"Would you be interested in this product if we \[*insert improvements*]? Why or why not?"

"Which color would you be more inclined to purchase for this product? Is there a different color not listed that you would want?"
