Responses to Option A
1
The colors are much more vibrant and eye catching.
2
The color scheme in Option A catches my eyes better.
3
The colors are mellow and soothing. There is something pleasant about the mix of colors. I can tell right away what it represents. It fits in better with the other icons, but is unique enough to stand out on its own.
4
I think it is easier to see the animal in the icon since the colors pop more than in option B but I don't mind option B either it just takes a moment to see what is in the image.
5
The brighter colors are more eye catching.
6
It looks really cute in A
7
The light blue creature stands out far more.
8
The dark icon looks weird and doesn't show anything for the game. I prefer bright icons on my home screen.
9
The coloring and style of A are more appealing to me.
10
The solo jellyfish looks kind of friendly while the horizontal image looks robotic, in a way. I think the one eye reminds me of a robot in a cartoon.
Responses to Option B
1
The colors are much richer and eye catching
2
The colors stand out
3
I like the style of B a lot more the colors pop.
4
The colors are more eye catching.
5
oceans are blue
6
I like the blue watery look. The other one just looks like dripping slime.
7
The darker blue background helps it stand out quite a bit more.
8
This one because it looks less generic.
9
I like option B better.
10
The blue has higher contrast, is easier to see.
11
deap ocean is better.
12
it looks more like an ocean and fits better
13
The characters look more fun - the one in A just looks dull
14
It actually looks like an ocean.
15
Like the color more.
16
B is more aesthetically pleasing. It looks more like the ocean, with the deep blue background. It's also easier to tell what is depicted.
17
I like the colors of this icon more.
18
I like the blue background. I thought the squid was cute.
19
prefer the colors, looks more attractive to the eyes
20
This one stands out more.
21
Personally I like the contrast better
22
The highlighted icon in B is more vibrant and eye catching. I would be more inclined to pick that one because of the color.
23
Choice B is much better than choice A because it stands out more against the other apps. Choice A blends in with the rest of the apps so when you first get to the app store it won't draw in your attention.
24
Option B is more appealing and looks more fun. I'd be more willing to click on this one
25
The game looks more fun and the logo is cooler.
26
This one is more unique and would better stand out.
27
The blue background on the icon makes it stand out more, it pops more
28
the deep ocean game icon pulls my attention to it more than the "A" one.
29
Option B's stronger colors stand out in the list and make me notice it. Option A blends in and looks boring compared to the others on the same screen.
30
I like the colors in choice B, but I like the orientation in choice A.
31
It looks more intriguing with the action going on in the screen shot
32
B definitely tells me this is about underwater creatures or something underwater. I understand the concept of A, or I think I do (Yellow submarine?) but it's something it takes a minute to get. You want an icon that you see and it pops right away into your brain "Oh this is a water game" seeing a blue thing on yellow doesn't say that to me.
33
the first icon in purple/blue is cool.
34
I prefer the picture logo to the right for the game "deep ocean" as it looks more interesting.
35
The deeper colors look more like ocean water.
36
the colors are more attractive and therefore make me want to download that game
37
I think it looks better.
38
Both look good, but Option B is a bit brighter and more interesting to me.
39
It's a cleaner design I can tell what it is because of the contrast colors .
40
Looks more fun by the graphics.
