If there was an app or website that allowed you to vote on proposed local art installations, would you be interested in using it?
33 Responses to Option A
I love art and would love to vote on local art
I believe having an app to vote on art online would be a good way to spend some of my downtime and I would like this.
If I knew more about the art installations I think I could see voting on what I like most.
I think it would be way more convenient as well as let the public know what's going on which would help a lot especially towards things like this.
The local community should have a say in the artwork that they might be able to view.
seems like an interesting app idea i would be interested in
I would use the website. But I wouldn't download an app just to vote on them.
Yes I would love to use the app and give my vote for the local art installations.
If there were taxes involved, this would be a good idea.
That would be an interesting app. I love art and I love seeing it on display in building, street walls, in scools, and other public locations. I also think it would put the artist more out there to get more recognition.
I want to be more involved in the goings on in my city and this would make that easier.
I would always like the opportunity to have a say
I think local art needs its recognition
For sure, woudl be cool.
in this digital age i cannot see why this would be an issue. which is why i picked choice A.
Yes, it would be interesting to see what sort of art would win something like that. And if it's the weird stuff that wins or the really creative stuff that gets the honor.
I think local art is a great thing but should also include the input of the community it will be painted/installed, especially if it is being funded by tax payers money.
I love supporting local art
This sounds interesting - I would check it out.
Yes, I think it would be very interesting and something I'm interested in.
i like it very much
I would love to use that app because I would love to have an opinion about the different types of art.
Yes! I think that would be fantastic! So many times the city puts things around that make no sense at all. Some of it looks like junk. Some of it blocks the line of sight at intersections. It would be nice if the app would also allow for choices in placement of the art. I would like to see more art that is part of the history of our area. I could veto things that fell into the categories of being irrelevant.
That would be a fun way to be a part of picking the art for the place.
I have found out the subject or theme of some of the projects after the fact and thought they could have come up with a better answer if they had more input.
I would like a choice in what art would be promoted in this area
I would be interested in using it. I think having an app or website would make it easier to get involved and vote and would help me feel more connected to my community. I feel like it would be easier to feel like I had an impact by being able to vote that way and would also make me much more likely to vote.
I think that using an app would make it easier, and more accessible for everyone to vote.
I voted A, yes, because I would want to give my opinion on what art installations were potentially being funded in my area, and this seems like a simple way to do it.
Sure, because it may not be in your area.
Yes! I would love a say in the artistic aesthetic of my community. I would feel more connected to it.
sounds like something very engaging
Yes this does sounds interesting enough for me to want to learn more about it

I don't have much interest in an app for something like that. It seems a waste of time and space on phone
No I don't get involved in the art installed in my community.
I would not be opposed to new local art installations. However, my phone is already so full of useless apps and jargon that I would not download another app that I would almost never use.
I really don't want to waste any more time on apps/phones especially for something as pointless as art.
I'm not really interested in learning about that sort of stuff.
Doesn't seem like something that I would have time to deal with. Art is awesome but a local display that I need to vote on doesn't sound like a priority to me.
I don't frequent local art installations, so this would not be an app I am interested in.
I live rural and would rather go to the village hall meetings or the historical community meetings and vote. I do live in a small historical Midwest town where a president was born.
I don't think my voted would be needed. I am not cultured enough
I'm not that much of a fan of modern art. I'm sure there are others more qualified than I am.
Don't have much art in my area, I wouldn't really care either way what kind they put up.
To be entirely honest, I don't spend a lot of time checking out local art. I wish I had more time, but since I don't, I don't think it would be right for me to vote on something that would not affect me.
I like it too be a surprise and picked my someone else.
This isn't an issue that I feel passionate about, so I am not likely to use the app.
i don't care about art
No, is of no interest to me.
I chose No and B here because I would prefer to vote in person.
