I like how you can see her face. it makes me want to use it

I can't think of a realistic circumstance in which I'd use this

That's pretty cool and creative. Nice way to nap!

The person looks really strange in that and it doesn't look all the comfortable or practical

This product looks extremely uncomfortable and I am not sure how you would use it.

Yes, it gives you a good image of what your'e buying as well as how to store and carry the product.

The image is a little bizarre looking. I'd rather know what this is prior to seeing it. Perhaps the company mission statement under the bag?

looks like its some good neck support I would probably buy it

I’m confused about the head hammock or sling and have no clue why this would be useful or helpful.

The design looks quite intriguing but I just don't think I could get used to my head just hanging on a sleeve.

Shows what the product does do that is appealing

Yes, because it really shows off what the product represents.

She looks comfortable, and the sling looks like it is well-made. The pouch looks nice, so the product would be tidy and not look cluttered. That adds value.

She makes the product look comfortable; relaxed posture, peaceful expression, and no signs of distress or strain. It's more appealing to me as a black person, for sure.

The image is appealing but I think it needs to be better balanced between the two separate images. To see them both I had to scroll. I think the image of the person needs to be placed on the top left with the smaller image of the bag on the bottom right. That is how our eyes naturally look at things and the picture of the person should be the first focus.

It's somewhat appealing it does look a little odd. It looks more like a medical device or something not appealing but necessary.

This image is appealing because I like how it shows the product being in use, as well as the packaging that the item comes from.

The image on the left is appealing, in that the woman appears to indeed be relaxing by using the head sling. However, the bag on the right that's presumably holding the product looks like a bulky garbage bag! Redo that image!

I'm not entirely certain what scenario I would use this product, but yes, this image does make it appealing to purchase. I really like the amount of detail to this high-res image(s).

No because i do not understand where i would use somehting like that. i do not have someplace to hang a hammock-pillow and lie down underneath it

not really as I and everyone I know moves a lot in their sleep

I think it would be a good product to have if you have neck pain. I would be willing to give it a try. I think it would get a higher rating if you showed exactly how the product is used. I would like to see what the strings and hanging from because that could be difficult to use if you don't have the right set up

yes, she looks calm and relaxed and you can get a good idea of it's size and how it works.

No it is not appealing to me. Where are you hanging this thing from? Would never be something I would purchase.

It looks uncomfortable and it doesn't really look practical

This image shows the product and its usage which makes it appealing and more likely for me to investigate and purchase.

I think you should probably have images with several angles. You can tell this product would be a little relaxing. Would be helpful to see what they hung the product from. Some would also find the fact that the woman's breast are noticably coming out of her shirt.

I think it shows well what th eproduct is, but I would never use one.

The image looks interesting but I would like more of a description from it.

Hard to tell what the product is

The image is very appealing. Good image quality, it shows the product in use and it also shows the packaging it comes in.

I think this image is appealing because the product seems to serve a useful purpose and looks good as well. The woman in the image is appealing as well

No, I do not find the image appealing because there is not enough there to make an informed decision about the product.

This image is appealing. It shows how the product works and you can see the product up close and in detail. It would be good to see what it is hooked to on the other end.

It comes across a little strangely to be honest.

This product does not look appealing nor comfortable at all to use.

Meh, the picture of the person doesn't really give me a good idea of what is going on here, but I might be willing to give it a shot.

I personally would not have any interest in this product. But, I can definitely see it being appealing for many people. It looks like it could be relaxing and even soothing to the body and neck area. So, yes I will say it looks appealing.

The picture of the lady with her head hanging the way it is looks extremely uncomfortable. Would hurt my neck

I don't think this look good to buy. I don't know what you would attract it to or what the reason is for this.

I would put more text in the image describing what the product does the benefits of it in the right hand corner. I am assuming it is for neck support. I like seeing the carry bag but the image looks so plain in the right corner I would list the benefits of using the product.

It's very appealing; it's good to have a photo of someone relaxing and looking peaceful to push the message that this is a product that brings comfort

I feel like they could have found a way to make it look more comfortable. I see what they were going for, but maybe strive for more comfortable look.

I would like to see the whole image to see how it is mounted. I get the gist of the product, but I would like to see it fully.

It demonstrates what they intend the product to be used for, and her face says it's a peaceful experience. I think it's a positive marketing item, but since I don't know anything about it and don't think my neck would benefit I give it 4/5

The images are good quality, but I would not buy from just the images because I dont know what it is or how it is used. I get that it is a head support, but where would you hang it from?

I think that this image is something that I would be interested in buying, and I do think that it's appealing. I think that overall though the only concern is when I look at this, I would try to figure out where I would want to hang it, because it doesn't show.

I think if I was looking for something like this, this would give me enough information - you can see everything in detail and how it is used. The picture shows the exact fabric and everything/

I believe the picture of the bag with a logo is a good one but cannot tell size of product. I feel there is not enough detail in the picture of the young woman in the head suspension apparatus. Is she laying down or just in a chair? What is the product hanging from for it to be at this angle?

It raises a lot of questions, so it isn't immediately appealing. It's also very dark ... a little color would lighten the mood and be more appealing

Survey Analysis

Winning Option: Characteristics and Appeal

  • Option B emerged as the preferred brand packaging design, securing 12 out of 15 votes. Respondents frequently highlighted its aesthetic appeal, emphasizing the luxurious and high-quality impression it conveys. The ability to stack packages was a notable practical advantage mentioned by participants.
  • Several respondents appreciated the monochrome color scheme of Option B, which they found less overwhelming compared to more colorful designs. This preference for simplicity suggests that minimalistic designs may resonate well with this group.
  • Additionally, environmental considerations played a role in favoring Option B; some participants noted its reduced plastic usage and recyclability as attractive features.

Key Topics Across Options

  1. Aesthetic Appeal: Across both options, aesthetics were crucial in influencing preferences. Participants often referred to colors and overall design quality when justifying their choices.

  2. Environmental Concerns: Both options had respondents who valued environmentally friendly aspects of packaging. However, while Option A was praised for being reusable and eco-friendly by some, others perceived Option B’s reduced plastic use as more sustainable.

  3. Practicality: Practical elements such as ease of stacking (Option B) or suitability for travel (Option B) were significant factors in decision-making processes.

Hypotheses for Further Testing

  • Investigate whether minimalistic designs consistently outperform colorful ones across different demographic groups or product categories.

  • Explore if environmental messaging on packaging significantly influences consumer preference when compared with other attributes like luxury perception or practicality.

  • Assess how important stacking capability is relative to other functional benefits in various contexts such as home storage versus travel convenience.

These hypotheses can guide further research into understanding deeper consumer motivations behind packaging preferences observed in this survey context.
