A walkthrough of your PickFu results page

Step-by-step walkthrough of a poll result

Your results page is where you'll spend most of your time after a survey completes. This guide walks through each section — vote tallies, written responses, AI Insights, AI Highlights, demographic breakdowns, and filters — so you know where to look and what each part does.

Vote tally and winning option

At the top of your results page, you'll see your survey question and the options you tested, with each option's score and the winning option called out. The score is calculated differently depending on the survey type — see how PickFu scores are calculated for the details.

AI Insights

Directly below the top section, AI Insights gives you a brief overview of your results plus three or more callouts of key trends and actionable recommendations based on respondent feedback. It also suggests a follow-up survey to run next, complete with a direct link to create it.

AI Insights is available on every results page for all PickFu users. Learn more in how to use PickFu's built-in AI tools.

Written responses

Below the vote tally, every respondent's written explanation appears in a card. Each card shows the option that respondent chose and their written comment.

Hover over a response to see the respondent's demographic profile. Each response also has:

Filters

Above the written responses, a filter bar lets you narrow your view by keyword, demographic trait, survey option, or response attribute (Helpful, Not helpful, Pinned). As you apply filters, the URL updates — copy it to share a filtered view. See how to filter your survey results.

Demographic reporting

Every survey includes a breakdown of votes by age and gender by default. With audience reporting traits selected at checkout, you can also see how respondents voted by income, education, race or ethnicity, and other demographic or behavioral traits.

These breakdowns are useful for understanding which audience segments preferred which options — and they often surface meaningful differences that don't show up in the overall tally.

AI Highlights tab

AI Highlights is a dedicated tab on your results page with deeper analysis: an AI Analysis section that summarizes patterns and trends across your responses, and AI Themes that break down what respondents liked and disliked about each option.

AI Highlights is available to PickFu+ subscribers and as a paid add-on. See how to use PickFu's built-in AI tools.

Share and export

The green Share and export button in the top-right lets you copy a shareable link or download your results as CSV, PDF, or PNG. See how to download, export, or share results.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see all the demographic breakdowns?

Surveys include age and gender breakdowns by default. To see breakdowns by income, education, behavioral traits, or other demographics, you need to add the corresponding audience reporting traits when you build your survey.

Does my results page update in real time?

Yes. While your survey is running, responses appear on the results page as soon as they come in. The vote tally, written responses, and demographic breakdowns all refresh automatically.
