No — PickFu doesn't support captions or labels on images. If respondents need more context, use the Question Context field instead.
Why we don't recommend captions or labels
It might seem like adding captions or titles to your images would help, but in our experience it actually leads to less useful results and can skew responses. Here's why:
Additional text can distort results — respondents may change their minds after reading the caption rather than reacting to the image alone.
If respondents can't differentiate between your images without captions, that's valuable feedback that the images aren't distinct enough to sway buyers in real-world scenarios.
Most online marketplaces, app stores, and social media platforms hide or don't support captions. Testing with them doesn't reflect how your audience will actually see the images.
This is why uploading an image replaces any text you've typed in the option field — it's intentional to keep the test clean.
Use Question Context instead
If respondents need background information to give informed feedback, use the Question Context field directly below your question. You can add a product description, a shopping scenario, or any detail that real-world shoppers would see when interacting with your listing.
Here's an example of a poll that used the context field to include additional product information.
