Follow-ups let you reach a specific respondent directly to ask for clarification or more detail on their answer. Each follow-up costs the same as your survey's per-response price and requires prepaid credit.
How to send a follow-up
Below any written response on your results page, click Ask follow-up.
Type your follow-up question, then click Send follow-up question. The respondent will receive your question and has two days to reply.
Asking respondents for personal information (email, phone number, social handles, etc.) is against PickFu's terms of service. Keep follow-ups focused on the survey topic.
Cost and credit
Follow-up questions require prepaid credit. Each follow-up costs the same as your survey's per-response price — if your survey was $1.00 per response, each follow-up is also $1.00.
If the respondent doesn't reply within two days, your account is credited back the cost.
Frequently asked questions
Will I learn the respondent's identity?
No. Respondents remain anonymous. You can communicate with them about the survey topic, but you won't see their name or contact information.
Can I ask follow-ups to multiple respondents?
Yes. Send a follow-up to each respondent individually from their response card.
What if the respondent doesn't reply?
If a respondent doesn't reply within two days, your account is automatically credited back the cost of that follow-up.
