Which book cover would make you buy the book?
14 Responses to Option A
While both photos are the same I think Option A really stands out more. The red background really seems like it stands out a little bit more than just the whitest background. I think I would certainly rather buy the book with the more eye catching design. I like option B but it just doesnt really compare when you see Option A. There is just so much more detail when it comes to Option A.
The red coloring makes the novel look more dark and provocative and makes me more interested in reading the book. The white light hitting the male doesn't cover the Photoshop very good and makes it look like a lower tier written book that I wouldn't give a try.
The red is a powerful color and makes me think the story would be intense.
The red is much more attractive and eye catching. I would definetly be intrigued to check out the red cover book
I think this choice gives the impression of being a forbidden romance. The color makes it seem more ominous and the male figure is harder to see.
I personally like option A. It says that it is a forbidden medical romance, and option A is in red. When I think of medical, I think of organs and what medicine does to you and of course blood. I doubt this is a vampire book, but the the red just makes me think of blood coursing through the body, like it does in the outline of the hair and head of the female character in the photo. I like the bigger print at the bottom of option b, but I like the red better in Option A.
The red shading gives the cover a distinctively more sinister feel to it. If I was interested in a suspense or thriller novel, this cover would grab my attention more. It just stands out more.
A is bold, intriguing, engaging, and unique.
The red highlight Make me think the story line will be thriller influenced as well as a romance
A is more intriguing and mysterious, so I'd be more likely to take a look at it and thus more likely to buy it. Red is a more lustful, taboo color, which fits into the apparent theme of the story, and the way it washes out some of the details on the male figure that are present in B adds to his mysterious and attractive nature.
The reddish coloring is more ideal for "forbidden". It's also different, making it standout more than the more so used white.
The red color gives the intensity of the forbidden age gap in romance .
I prefer choice A because it is one color.
The option A definitely is more attractive and intriguing and keep the tone of what to expect from the book.

The white text stands out better against the black background and looks like a more professional design. Plus the texture of the silhouette gets a bit lost in the red.
The red makes it seem more like a horror story than a romance story.
I like it white with a little bit of red accents.
Option B, Its color is much more striking, additionally its design is very realistic.
I think the color variation on the cover adds more personality and curiosity to it. The contrast also makes it more visually appealing and noticeable.
I like the white light/font because it helps the male character stand out.
The first book cover I would want to buy the book is option B because I like the red outline but I also like the fact that the skin colored outline makes it look like a human c in option A
The text stands out much more when it’s white against black instead of red, so it catches my eye more.
I think it's more interesting to have it like B, with some different colors. The white silhouette with the colored figure looks more interesting and dynamic than just all red.
I would purchase this one because it is easier to see the guy and to feel a connection with him.
I prefer B because the title and tagline are much easier for me to read. Without being able to clearly see those, I likely would not check the book out especially if I was in a store.
I chose B because I preferred the coloring.
I think that the white font and the white outlines of the hair look better and different than the red. I think that the red seems like other things that I've seen and the red is representative of blood. I prefer the white representing mystery.
The white brings out the man on the cover.
I like option B better. It has better visible characters of a man and a woman, easier readable text. Usually white on black is better than red on black (IMHO of course). So option A is a wrong choice, better redesign.
I like the white text because it's cleaner looking and easier to read. I like the hint of red in the mans outline indicating romantic heat. I do not like the cover in red text. Combined with the word medical on the cover my first thought was blood.
I can barely see the red print in A because the red is too dark.
The red and black in A feels better for vampire interns! I'd go with B.
I think B looks better, I don't care for the red against the black, plus you can't see the guy near as good on A as on BI think the black an white contrast gets attention better than the two dark colors. It stands out more. A looks really dull.
Option B looks sexier and intriguing
A looked more like a horror story (that is why I chose B).
The red and white help the image stand out
I like the white framed silhouette best on the cover of B.
Option B is easier to read and better evokes the emotion of a romance. The crimson red in Option A looks murderous intent instead of hot blooded romance so I would minimize it to just the man's outline unless that was also part of the plotline.
The red is eye catching but makes me feel like its more of a thriller than a romance/erotic novel.
It just intrigues me more.
I prefer the added depth the third color gives the cover, it allows the eyes to focus and refocus much more easily. Although I do prefer the caption on choice A but the cover is too flat and requires more focus to review.
The red font and outline is too dark
I like option B better because you can see the people better on that cover. I think that the red on option A feels a little creepy to me, like the story wouldn't actually be a romance but a murder mystery or something.
I think that the white font color is easier to read. The red is more striking, but against the black background it's hard to tell what it says.
Red is overrated
I like the design in white better, the design in red makes it creepy.
I like the white wording and image. It makes the words/image easier to read. The red runs into the black background.
Choice B is easier to read with the white text. Choice B looks more like a horror book with the red text, and makes me worried that something bad happens in the book. The book looks interesting, and I think if it is a romance then the white text is less scary.
i like the black and white contrast.
I like the white and black combo more honestly because the red against the black is actually quite hard for me to read and see so I prefer the white as it's easier for my eyes to follow.
