How do I rate respondent comments as helpful or not helpful?

If the feedback was insightful or useful, let us know by ranking the comments.

Use the thumbs-up and thumbs-down buttons on each written response to rate respondent comments. Your ratings help PickFu maintain panel quality and let you filter your results to focus on the most useful feedback.

How to rate a response

When your survey is complete, read through each written comment. Below each response, you'll see a thumbs-up and a thumbs-down icon.

  • Click thumbs-up to mark a response as Helpful, then choose a reason from the pop-up.

  • Click thumbs-down to mark a response as Not helpful, then select a reason. Your input goes to the PickFu team, not the respondent.

Thumbs-up button below a respondent's written comment

Marking responses Not helpful flags them for the PickFu team to review. We use this signal to maintain panel quality and may remove respondents who consistently receive Not helpful ratings.

Filter by helpfulness

After you've rated some responses, open All filters to filter by:

  • Just the Helpful responses

  • Just the Not helpful responses

  • Or everything except Not helpful responses

As you change filters, the URL updates. Copy the URL to share a filtered view with colleagues — for example, share only the Helpful responses with your team.

Frequently asked questions

Will the respondent see that I rated their comment?

No. Ratings are private to you and the PickFu team. Respondents do not see whether you rated their comment Helpful or Not helpful.

Can I change my rating?

Yes. Click the icon again to remove or change your rating.

How does PickFu use these ratings?

We aggregate Not helpful ratings across the panel to identify and remove low-quality respondents. Your ratings help us keep response quality high for everyone.
