https://mcp.pickfu.com/mcp, and sign in through OAuth — then ask for consumer feedback in plain language.
The template carries the bot’s instructions and research prompts, not the connection. You still add the MCP server URL once and authorize your PickFu account, as you would for any other Grok Bot plugin.
Add to Grok Bot
Open the shareable template on x.ai and add it to your own account.
Set it up
1
Open the template
Go to x.ai/bot/9EFVmFgQhjYKjMHAhpCWn while signed in to your xAI account.
2
Add it to your account
Add the template to create your own copy of the bot. Your copy is yours to edit — renaming it or changing its instructions doesn’t affect the shared template.
3
Connect the PickFu MCP server
Plugins are account-wide rather than per-bot. Open Settings → Plugins and add PickFu as an MCP server:
- Name:
PickFu - URL:
https://mcp.pickfu.com/mcp - Transport: Streamable HTTP
4
Authorize as yourself
The first time the bot calls a PickFu tool, you’re sent to PickFu to sign in and approve access. The connection uses your PickFu account through OAuth — whoever adds the template authorizes their own account, and the bot never carries a shared or team-wide token.
5
Ask for consumer feedback
Describe what you want to learn and let the bot handle the poll mechanics:
“Which of these two Amazon main images makes shoppers more likely to click? Test them with 50 US Amazon shoppers.”
What the bot can do
Because it’s wired to the PickFu MCP server, the bot has the same tools any other MCP client gets — see the full tool list. In practice it’s set up to:- Pick a research design for your question, drawing on PickFu’s playbooks
- Draft the poll — question type, options, sample size, and audience targeting
- Show you image options inline before anything goes live
- Read results once responses come in: vote totals, written explanations, and demographic breakdowns
- Suggest the next test, so a losing main image or listing headline turns into the follow-up poll instead of a dead end
Publishing and spend
Prefer to wire it up yourself?
The template is a convenience, not a requirement. To connect PickFu to a plain Grok chat or a bot you wrote yourself, add PickFu as a custom connector in grok.com/connectors — see Grok setup on the MCP server page. Both paths hit the same MCP server athttps://mcp.pickfu.com/mcp and use the same OAuth sign-in.
