never liked the other spelling of fire
Option B with the odd spelling is just annoying to me.
Option B sounds pretentious so I would pick A.
I dont know what a fyre mage is. Sounds like some mumbo jumbo.
The 'y' in the title is corny and so genre-specific.
sounds more understandable
the first option sounds like it's too far back in time to really care about.
I like the traditional spelling.
Option B sounds like someone's name and A sounds like a fantasy novel.
I choose option A because I'd rather read a novel that has proper spelling. I'm not fond of the alternative spelling of Fyre. I feel like the book might be riddled with spelling errors.
"Fyre" is just kind of obnoxious looking. I wouldn't take the book seriously with a name like that.
Fire is spelled correctly
sounds like what it should be
Frye makes me think of someone's name.
it is more powerful and exciting
Fire Mage sounds better to me and it makes more sense in English, hence my choice.
Unconventional or antiquated spelling of Fire does not add to the appeal and may actually detract from it.
The off spelling does nothing extra for me, so go for the correct one.
Fyre is to cutesy.
Option B reminds me of boots so in this case, Option A Fire Mage is better because it describes the book more and will not lead to confusion.
Fyre mage just seems like a really stupid typo.
I wouldn't assume that "Fyre" is pronounced "fire" and choice B is more confusing.
I like that title better.
I can understand it better. The other one is a little confusing.
The name is interesting on its's own. The "Fyre" title is too easily transposed to fry when skimming quickly which may lead to less positive connotations.
i dont like the weird speling of "fyre". It will turn people away
seems original to me over option B
I chose option A because B, "Fyre", just seems to have a contrived, pretentious look to it- kind of like trying to hard. All in all, a good sounding name though.
Fire sounds more interesting
easier to read and not as gimmicky as the other choice
I would day neither, but the spelling of fire appeals visually to me better as it is what I am used to,
I am not sure what FYRE means where FIRE evokes an image.
It's clearer
The spelling is more to my liking.
better
more appealing
It piques interest because I want to know why 'fire' is spelled with a y; what could it possibly mean?
the spelling of "fyre" makes me think the setting will be something magical/fantasy land, whereas plain ol' "fire" just sounds like a story about a fire
The unique spelling of Fyre would catch my eye more than the traditional spelling.
The unique spelling of Fyre would definitely grab my attention. Using regular "fire" isn't nearly as interesting.
I like B. I think the spelling makes me wonder why the author chose to spell it that way. It would make me look closer.
I would wonder is it really about fire or is that a person.
B more than A because B evokes some kind of middle ages, Celtic adventure.
If I were into this genre (Fantasy), this would be my choice as the spelling "Fyre" to be more typical of that period.
It's a unique spelling
Fyre makes it seem more worldy, and can add an element of history is the book is historical fiction.
As an RPG fan, the concept of a Fire Mage is familiar and somewhat boring. With "fyre" it seems as if there's something unique about it, and I would be interested enough at least to find out why the author went with "fyre" over "fire."
Looks more interesting
sounds interesting
Great spelling of "Fire" wouldn't think do that but is really catchy for sure.
