Van Westendorp price sensitivity: homesteading app

This survey asks 50 U.S. gardeners how much they would pay for a homesteading app after reviewing a product overview. It's a two-question Survey built on the Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter, followed by a Single Select question on payment model. Each respondent set four price anchors (too cheap, a bargain, getting expensive, too expensive), and PickFu plotted the cumulative curves: a $7.75 optimal price point, an $8.33 indifference price point, and an acceptable range of $6 to $10.59. Most respondents compared the app with free alternatives like Google and ChatGPT, and 64% said they prefer a one-time fee over monthly or annual billing.

“I'd be willing to pay about $5 because the game included in the app does look kind of fun. Kind of like a more helpful Stardew Valley.”
“I would doubt its answers for 10 dollars but for 20 I feel it would have honest real information. I still might pay 25 for it but definitely not 30.”
“This is an interesting concept, but not sure how it would be better than a free version of ChatGPT for answering my questions. I don't need the game aspects.”
