Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 65 votes after 5 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

clearer an more natural
I chose all the men first because they have good calm voices. I rather choose men over women when it comes to voices. Although the women had good voices too, but women voices irks me sometimes.
I like A because the voice sounds strong and like they know what they're talking about. I also like C, D and E because they sound like they know what they're talking about and have strong friendly voices. B and E I don't really care for because both the voices sound a bit weak, especially the male voice.
I foudn the voice in A to be trustworthy, soothing, and convincing. His left me feeling informed and with great guidance.
The voice is strong and clearly understood. It has a deep tone and conveys strength and authority. It sounds like this voice is knowledgeable and knows what it's talking about.
The voices were picked on a percieved ranking of clearness of voice the the ablity to articulate the words easily.
I made my choices based on clarity of the voices. The last two, B and E, I could hardly hear at all.
First choice is A because the voice is clear and inviting.Second choice is B is clear and nice not demanding but inviting.Third choice is E is a really nice voice and friendly.Fourth choice is C okay but nothing special but shorter.Fifth choice is D is okay just normal a little shorter.Lastly is F is fast and appear to be reading and not serious.
The first one is the easiest to listen to and more importatly to pay attention to. , It is my favorite.. the second and third ones I liked as well but not as much.
Best of my knowledge this options are well
Picked the clearest loudest voice that wasn't irritating or grating or had a lisp or accent and whose voice was not whispering or low toned .
I based my ranking off of pronunciation and the quality of the delivery.
Clear enunciation, immediate start and loud enough for all to hear.
I ranked the voices based on how clear, natural, and non-robotic they sounded (i.e. ones that sounded more like how a natural human would speak were rated higher)
i feel that videos b and a are the most detailed and clear to me so i would go for those two first
I prefer calmer more relaxed voices, like the B, E, D. F, A, C, had too much energy for me.
I chose these based on the impact of the videos.
She did the best job of explaining everything and her voice was overall the best fit for what she was explaining as well as how she was explaining how to use the google account.
the names were more simple and easier to remember as well
I would much rather prefer a voice that sounds more automated. Choice C sounds the most like current assistant voices (Siri, Alexa, etc.). Voices with too much inflection (Choices D-E) do not sound genuine to me.
I preferred the female voices for C,D, and A. For options F,B, E I went with the clearer male voices for B &E I just went with the options that sounded the clearest.
The feminine voice I generally find easier to listen to so the women's voices come at or near the top for me. After that I prefer voices that are less nasal or harsh.
how lively the voice sounded
C: sounded like a robot and didnt have any hard hitting letter sounds like an s or t.F: loud understandable and takes a few extra steps to make sure every work is properly and fully pronouncedE: I liked the quiet voice as a third option, not much to it.A: was loud like F but not fully and properly pronouncing every word.D: sounded good but certain letters hit really high and hurt to hear.B: overall worst one, quiet not properly pronouncing every word. pauses at strange times. background noise.
I like the way the voice is resonated and just the overall tone of the voices in that order from the one I like the most to the one I liked the least
Answers C, F, and D were a very mellow and soothing voice. I found that I could listen to the entire recording and wasn't wishing it would just stop. Option A wasn't terrible, but wasn't quite as soothing as the top 3. E and B I found myself just wishing that the recordings would end and that I was just done listening to them very quickly. I could listen to C, F, D for a long time and found myself concentrating more on what they were saying than the others, since it was pleasant to listen to.
Option C sounds the most professional. Female voices in general sound more supportive and come closer to expectations when searching for instructional videos. Option F is crisp and clear, but the speaker is a tad too fast for my tastes; it sounds as if the speaker is rushing through the script. Option D is good, but ambient noise is audible in the clip. If the speaker had a better mic or redid the clip in a professional studio, it would arguably be the best choice. Option B and E are similar in that the voices are too soft and they sound bored; instructional videos should not put their users to sleep.
I first listened for pitch and the general distance they sounded away from the microphone. Then I chose the speakers who sounded closer to the mic and the speakers who were most clear and te speakers that sounded like they enjoyed what they were saying.
I prefer female speakers, and louder male voices that are clear and easy to understand.
I picked voice over versions that contained competent speakers and little background noise. Several of these were quite professional and clear to understand upon first listening. The last two or so versions seemed less clear and I had to listen multiple times to understand the big picture.
My top choices were the most personable and friendly sounding voices, while they maintained a good level of professionalism.
I went by the way the voices were talking. How entertaining they are. Some that were ranked lowest were very monotone and did not keep me interested. I also went by voice. I think female voices are more soothing where as if say someone was upset and listening a male voice might not help them feel calmer. I also went by the quality of the recording.
I like C's voice because she sounds friendly, agreeable, and cheerful. She has an upbeat tone. D is a close second. I think both the womens' voices sound more friendly, inviting, and personable than the mens' voices. I picked A for third because he sounds very authoritative and professional. E was next because he sounds relaxed and calm. His slower and quieter voice is more relaxing. I don't like the echo sound for voice B. Sounds like he is in a studio. And F is last because he sounds a little funny, like he has a lisp.
Option C was the best choice overall, because the voice was pleasant, and not too loud and was easy to understand. Option F was ranked number 2, because it was loud and clear and seemed very energetic, but it was not as good as option C. Option D was a tough choice for number 3, but lacked the energy and enthusiasm as option C. Option A was okay, but kind of loud and did not flow as well as the first three did. Option E was not that great at all. It was hard to hear, and not really expressive to represent the brand like it should. Option B was really quiet and lacked any sort of enthusiasm for the project altogether. Option C was a really clear choice, and I hope it is selected for whatever project it will be used for.
i am partial to young women voices, they sound more attractive. the male voices were fine except E and B. they sounded depressing
The female voices sound the best to me. F and A are alright.
These voices are the best sounding overall
THE VOICES SOUND FIRMILIAR AND ARE CLEAR AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND
I like both female voices about the same, and they seemed very similar. I felt that all the male voices sounded a bit funny, but A and F were more interesting, while B and E sounded very low energy and might just put me to sleep.
I much prefer a soothing womans voice rather than that of a harsher mans voice, especially for instructional videos.
The women sound more pleasant and clear. Overall a clear, slow voice is easier to understand.
Option D has the best soothing sound of voice and it doesn't sound robotic at all. Her voice is very pleasant to listen to. C is OK since it sound halfway nice but she seems more robotic than D. F is the best male voice even though it sounds a tad robotic but A has a echoy sound or that would be better since that sounds more real.
I ordered them by how natural they sounded and if matched well with the information that they are giving out.
I was listening for clarity of voice and confidence of tone. The last two or three are just so muffled.
D and F are the clearest, loudest, most cheerful voices to use for an automated recorded message. C sounds like an older woman, which isn't bad, but sometimes their softer voices are harder to hear because they don't have good sustained air/tones throughout the whole message (like their voice will be soft then loud then soft throughout the recording, for example.)
I first chose the options that sounded the most clear and easy to understand. My final choice, E, was too quiet. I disliked the more robotic sounding voices as well. My first choice, D, is clear and concise, which I like.
I prefer voices that sound more human and personable instead of robotic.
The first 2 I picked seemed the sweetest and nicest to me.
I chose the ones I thought were the most understandable and clear in their words, the first two are 1 Female and 1 Male.
I like D because the voice is soft easy to understand.I like B because it is a deep voice and not too young and easy to understand.I like C because the voice is calming but the person sounds unnatural.I like F because it is easy to understand but the voice is too loud.. I like A because the voice is deep and simple to understand and clean. I like E because the voice is very calming but a bit quiet.
I like the voices of the women the most, and then the asian man because he sounds calm. The three others all sound like generic white guys and don't really stand out at all.
D and F are the best male and female voices of them all. They have energy and sound nice and clear. C is an okay female voice but not as good as D. The rest of the voices are low and boring which isn't ideal for an instructional video.
I personally like D the most because I prefer a female voice over a males for help. Her voice was very crisp and clear. She sounded helpful yet still intelligent and friendly. F is the next choice for me because his voice is very easy to listen to and he sounds like someone that I could be friends with. He is clear to understand and he sounds like he would be willing to help if I have questions. B follows because like F, his voice is easy to hear though he just doesn’t sound as friendly. He sounds like he would be only willing to say this once or twice before being annoyed. C and A sound both very robotic to me. It would get the job done, but I would wonder if I were talking to a robot. C is higher just because I prefer a female voice over a males. E is last for me because the vocals are so quiet. He also has a bit of a “air” in the audio making it tougher for me to listen to. I think he just sounds a bit bored and he’s going through the motions.
Only the first 2 are really good, easy to understand, excellent recording quality, and speak in phrasing that makes it easiest to extract the datat required from the filler words
D - The voice is very pleasant and warm, with a friendly tone that most will find nice to hear. F - the voice is friendly, but also sounds quite knowledgeable and confident.C - the voice sounds professional, but is also a pleasant voice.B - the voice is professional and confident, but not as friendly as I would prefer.E - the voice is a bit boring and bland.A - the voice is somewhat loud and a bit abrasive.
I like option D the most because I think the female voice is more welcoming the voice is also better paced then some of the other options
I preferred the female voices and the voices with more intonation. D was my favorite, it sounded bright and helpful. F had a great deal of intonation, it sounded upbeat and enthusiastic. E sounded very slow and downbeat and a little bit slurred.
i think the two female voices sound a little more human an less robotic than the male
I voted by which sounded most serious to least serious
I prefer females and males. D and F were the most upbeat, so were 1 and 2 given female, male. C and A were not as upbeat, and were ranked again with female first. E and B were too quiet. B was worst because it had some echo
I think the female voices sounded better and were easier to follow. D was better than C in that regard. F was good as male voice but not as good as D or C. A was too loud and B was too soft
Choice number 1 & 2 were very close as far as soothing and making me feel unrushed. I chose the women's voice just slightly over B's voice. F was very enthusiastic but in a good way. 4th, I chose E. It was just a little too soothing but I still would listen. C was my 5th choice as it was just a bit too hurried. The final voice either was too loud or brusque for my taste.
The female voices sound more confident than the male voices. Option E sounds like he is whispering.
I like how D and C sound the most. I favor female voices but they also had more emotion and sounded more clear. I put the quiet/awkward sounding male voices last. They just didn't appeal to me.
Options D and C were definitely the most pleasant. I might be biased as I'm a lesbian, but I do enjoy women's voices more. Option F was a little punchy and loud, but not so much that the charisma was able to shine through. Option B is quiet, but that's the only criticism. Option A is very loud and his heart isn't in it. Finally, option E needs to drink a glass of water and speak louder and further away so we don't hear your saliva!
Option B is low quality. Option E is soothing to hear but a little uncomfortable. Option F is a little bit too enthusiastic. I think C is pretty good because female voices are inherently just more pleasing to hear. This is why Option D is my favorite.
I decided on which voice sounds the clearest and most confident.
I chose the messages that have a more energetic and trustful voice
Interestingly, I chose the female voices 1st and 2nd not because they were female but because they were the most coherent, natural sounding and evenly volumed choices of the 6. My top choice was slightly more personable of the two. The bottom two choices sound fake, loud or metallic/mechanized in their delivery so they weren't desirable. Of the middle two, the one I chose third had a smooth delivery but still sounds slightly artificial but was less artificial than the one I chose for fourth place.
My first two choices D and C were the clearest in my opinion. The female voices were definitely the most clear and distinct. F was my next choice because although it was a slower pace it kept my interes. A, E, and B were definitely my least favorite because they were too monotone.
D and F sound the most friendly and natural
I prefer a female voice as it is more calming for me and so I pay attention. I Picked the 3rd option because I liked the speed of voice and I felt I was getting info faster from him. voice 4 was male, but calming as well, but to slow. 5 & 6 seemed to harsh and a little aggressive. Personally I think being non-aggressive attracts my attention better.
I chose answers based on how i felt when listening to them. If i personally liked the way the sentence flowed and came out, i ranked it higher. how enjoyable it would be to listen to it repetitively
I like a voice that is able to balance between enthusiasm and a steady tone. I don't like when someone is trying to sound overly excited. But I also don't want a boring monotone voice that puts me to sleep.
I like E the best because the speaker sounds clear and relateable as a teacher
Option E had such a rich timbre to the voice. I thought the male vocals were just fantastic, and I loved how involved I felt while I listened to him speak.
I chose the voices that I felt most resonated with me and that I felt were most articulate and captivating to listen to, that grabbed my attention.
I really just selected based on who had the calmest voice and the least annoying voice.
I think the voices in this order seem the most calming and relatable. The others sound more mechanical and like they are reading from a script.
The options I voted on for the first half had a much more crisp and energizing sound to their voices. The later half were more monotonous and dragged on too long, making it really difficult to listen to what is being said. B really had me zoning out during the entire playback and I didn't really hear much of what they said due to the uninterested voice. After all, how can you make the listener interested if the voices themselves show no life or interest?
option F and D sound the most friendly and realistic. One choice for male vs female.
My top choice was option F, I felt like the audio sounded the most crisp and clear. I also liked that it was the shortest of the instructional videos, like there was less pauses or small gaps of nothing. Option D, I felt the voice sounded the second best. Like not as clear as option F, but it still sounded good. Wasn't a fan of the extra second in the intro, I felt like it could had been trimmed down so you don't hear the narrator breath/getting ready to speak. Option A, I liked the loud voice, you can hear what the speaker is saying loud and clear. I do feel like option A, has way too many long pauses tho and could had been trimmed. Option B, I l liked that the audio was short and there is less like dead air in the final cut of the video, but the voice itself sounds distant like it was recorded in another room. Option C and E, felt too long in comparison to the other options. Option C, the voice sounded slightly better than option E's voice.
I enjoyed the instructions from F the most. I found them to include the perfect level of detail and instruction.
I liked Option F the most. His voice sounded sure and commanding, giving me the feeling of trust and honesty.I then liked Option C because her voice was easy to listen to and sounded knowledgeable.Next Option D sounded intelligent and personable.
I think the louder male voices sounded better for the video.
I like choice F the most. I like the sound of the voice very attractive.
I chose the best voice out of all, selecting by who sounded the best in reading the information. The first two voice were very strong, clear and direct. The were very good and were way better than the remainder. Some of them sounded like they were going to fall asleep while reading the script. But the first three were excellent.
option f is best for me it gets the point across easy
Option F is very chirpy which is good for an instructional video. Female voices also are better therefore resulting in D and C being good options. Option E is too monotone as if he doesn't want to do it. Option A and B are okay options. Nothing unique about them.
F has a standard and warm voice that is relatable, E is familiar in sound and overall flow/pattern of speech, C seems professional but serious, D sounds a bit more dull in comparison, A is not optimal in pace of speech, B is unappealing in tone and speech in comparison
I put them in order of which was easiest to listen too
The ones I choose at the top are the ones that I thought had pleasant to hear voices when listening to what they had to say.
I ranked the choices based on the clarity of the sound and how helpful I consider each audio to be.
Al of these were very literate but I chose F. I like the gentleman's voice.
I feel like the more natural sounding, excited, and smooth talking makes what they are saying a little more appealing and genuine like in a crash course youtube video. Sure it would be nice to have one of the older men talking like a professor but I know from experience that it gets slow and boring after time.
the explanation is way better here
Option B sounds like he is a little annoyedOption C sounds like she hates me and wants to speak to a managerOption F sounds natural and that he might be friendly and open - this is the best option out of all of themOption A sounds like a celebrity or someone else, and it it distracting. He has cute little nuances in how he speaks that make it very human and childlike, thoughOption D - she sounds very nice and professional, but not mean like Option C. This is the best female clip out of all of them.Option E sounds like an ASMR video - like he is trying to get me to fall asleep. It’s not bad, but it’s a bit easy to stop paying attention to. Depending on what his voice was used for, this could be perfect (maybe a weighted blanket?!)
I liked F the most because the voice offered the best combination of clarity, excitement, and energy. It sounded natural and professional. I thought that D and C were close runners up, as they were also professional and energetic, but weren't quite as clear to me. E and A were not very good, but had a few redeeming qualities, such as calmness and coolness. But this made them feel very robotic. Lastly, I liked B the least as I thought it was quiet, slow, and boring.
F seemed to be the loudest and clearest. D was very upbeat and interesting, not too glum...C I feel like I've heard before for some other thing I've done, I can't recall what right now. It's fine, clear and all. A is loud and fine, I just felt like there were a couple words that were a little off, so it got the spot it gave it. E is very quiet, but B is not very good and even more quiet. The last two were more depressing to me. Thank you!
I prefer a man's voice to a woman's (for the purpose of instruction) but only one of the male voices was masculine. The only male voice I liked was the one I chose for my 1st choice, followed by the two female voices (they seemed "easy on the ears" compared to the remaining male voices).
