Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 30 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 50% 25 votes | 60% 30 votes +5 |
C | 28% 14 votes | 40% 20 votes +6 |
A | 22% 11 votes | Eliminated 11 votes reassigned |
I think option A is best, it is succinct and clear with its message.
All of these titles are an absolute mouthful and don't give me any confidence that the contents of the book will help at all, but at least option A is written in a way that can be easily discerned as to what it's trying to say. The other options don't even border on being readable.
A looks the best worded to me and gets me excited to read the book.
I like the brevity of my top choice, which is confident and appealing for sure!
Simpler is better. Too many words in the last 2
A has the clearest explanation and is the easiest to follow. C is somewhat confusing, especially "author expert". The reference to Galaxy in B is weird and it is not clear what the book is actually about.
A is the only one that resonates with me personally if I wanted to publish a book
I like the idea of being a "thought leader" that means having a lot of authority on the subject and giving some expert opinion about it. Puts you in a commanding situation if it actually works. I'd say this is the best title of the 3. Option C talks about being an "Author Expert". I am not sure what that suggests. If you say "Expert Author" that actually does makes sense but "Author Expert" as in somebody who guides other authors? Maybe? Its not clear enough.Option B, has the same verbiage that confuses me a bit "Author Expert". So I wouldn't pick it.
I picked books that describes what the book is about the best.
I really like option A as it feels more approachable and easy to understand.
I like the shorter, more concise title that has the word "expert" in it the best.
I like the phrase "Publishing Galaxy", because I think it appropriately captures how vast and interconnected the publishing industry is.
I like Option B the best because it gives the most concrete promise: this book will have 7 steps for me to follow. The other options aren't quite as strong, though I like the language that Option C uses.
B seems the least cringy. "Thought leader" sounds a lot like the guy that runs a cult or wants to be on CNN/FOX news as an 'expert'.
I really like the play on The Hitchhiker's Guide title
The title of B is really appealing. It seems like the steps would be easier to interpret and understand.
I like B the best. especially how it says 7 simple steps. That gets my attention first over the other two.
I think there is a big difference between wanted to be an author versus a thought leader, so I chose the author one, item B. The other 2 are too wordy and too specific.
Option B was my top choice because I felt it was the most empowering and logical. I selected Option C second because I didn't love the name, but I did feel that it was something I could understand better. Finally, I picked Option A last because I didn't like the idea of writing being a formulaic process.
I like Option B because it has 7 steps. To me, that sounds more concrete and easy to follow and achieve.
Option B is more ideal and most appealing as it states that there are simple steps and only 7. Because of this I would be more inclined to having to read the book.
B seems easier and steps should be easy to follow. It is a catchy title that I feel would catch more eyes.
I prefer Option B for the title The Entrepreneur’s Guide to the Publishing Galaxy: Become an Author Expert in 7 Simple Steps because it narrows it down to inform you how long it is expected to achieve.Second is option C From Entrepreneur to Thought Leader: How to Publish a Book That Makes You an Author Expert is a good title but option B is more simplified in terms of how long it will take.Third is option A The Author Expert Formula: How to Publish a Book That Will Make You a Thought Leader because it is puzzling about the subject of the book.
The simplicity here really sells the book for me. Breaking things down into steps is very appealing. Seems attainable that way.
I like the word "guide" in the title, like it's a step by step process and easy to follow book
B has a nice simple and clear sound to it that I find more appealing
I liked this choice because it uses the word "guide" which makes the consumer think it is step by step.
I like the emphasis on "thought leader" in A... but if I NEED to buy it now, the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy reference is definitely the way to go, and 7 simple steps makes it sound organized and easy to read too, so I pick B. Nothing at all stands out about C.
Option B is my choice because the "7 simple steps" is more engaging and compelling for me.
I prefer option B. I like that the title offers to break down the process into steps. That makes it sound like an organized process that I could cope with.
I thought choice B seemed the most engaging followed by C and then A.
I chose option B. I like the "Publishing Guide" and the "7 Simple Steps." I think this is something that would be fun and easy to work with.
"B" might entice me, but "C" and "A" don't roll off the tongue.
I think B is the most descriptive and explains better what the book is about.
There's more clear motives in the title in option B. What the title promises is more practical compared to the others.
"The Entrepreneur’s Guide to the Publishing Galaxy: Become an Author Expert in 7 Simple Steps" has the best ring to it. That seems inviting and easy for any entrepreneur to jump into. That title is best. I like the "The Author Expert Formula: How to Publish a Book That Will Make You a Thought Leader" version and that isn't bad either. "From Entrepreneur to Thought Leader: How to Publish a Book That Makes You an Author Expert" is okay but seems several ideas rolled up here.
I like the phrase "thought leader"
I think the first two are pretty helpful and have a good description, the third option is just the most cliche title ever
C sounds the most straight forwards, clear, professional effective and trustworthy
Right to the point! Not sure I like the term "thought leader"! I like author best.
I like that the title sort of maps out what to expect from the book in option C. Option A is fine too, just not too keen on the word "formula." Option B is fine too, but "7 simple steps" just rubs me the wrong way. It feels less formal.
This one explains a little better what the book would be about.
the publishing galaxy phrase is really kind of strange sounding. C and A are better
the title in option C makes me want to read the book because it sounds like it was written by experts
C is the only one that makes me want to buy it, the others sound like snake oil and seem shifty and cheap.
I like the entrepreneur guide that is used with C here along with the alternative thought leader part of this booklet.
C's opening flows the best. B is okay but I dont like the word "galaxy" and "the author expert formula" sounds contrived in A.
C has the easiest "flow" to it, very smooth and it keeps your interest throughout, which would probably lead to looking deeper into the book than the other two.
I picked C and B as my top choices as I like the formal way it tells me to get into the business.
Option A is a little complicated and confusing. I think Option C is the most clear and sounds very appealing.
