A brand new store would have to be a lot cheaper than the competition. That way even if I lose out, I could get the potential of sweet deals
If it looked like they put serious effort into designing a high-quality product, I would consider buying.
I guess the most obvious option would be that it's really cheap and that there was some buyer protection in case they were a scam.
A first time buyer discount would lure me in.
A discount and free shipping would convince me to buy a product from a brand-new online store.
Good price with fast delivery and a product that I cannot find anywhere else.
The things that would convince me are how trustworthy the design is, their return and shipping policies/prices, and how good are the brands and prices in the store.
I want good reviews but that is hard with a new store. I want good pictures of the items. I want to see every detail. I also want a lot of options of things that I would like
If there are no reviews, the only way I would take a chance is if it was something I couldn't buy any where else or the price is small enough to take a chance on.
I would really have to want the product and there would have to be a lot of contact information present on the website, preferably along with some sort of money-back guarantee.
I would buy a product from a brand new store if it had a unique product or in a design that I really wanted that I could not find anywhere else.
I would want it to have high tech graphics that would make me trust the website more especially if it looks secure.
If the new store were hosted on amazon, shopify, etsy or another well-known website, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase if the price & quality seemed right for an item I wanted. I wouldn't require more than that because since it's hosted on a big-name site, I would expect them to help me if the item received is terrible. Loads of pictures also helps, along with dimensions and materials. If the store were NOT hosted by any of these, I dont think I would purchase from it
I would need to see real review of other people who have had successful purchases with a new site. I would want to see a real delivery photo and unboxing as well.
Price. This is what would drive me to buy and try it.
price is always a good factor. i would also look at the product description and if it sounds good, i would give it a shot and hope for the best.
How urgent the need for the product was might tempt me to buy something new.
Price. If the price was lower than average, I would take the risk and buy from a store with no reviews.
How professional the online store looks. If it's well designed and doesn't look like it was just put together in an hour.
If the about page was believable and told a real story about the owner
hearing from a friend that they had a good experience
If the introductory price is aggressive enough to the point that it is such a good deal to try out, and they compete with other online marketplaces.
If the prices are lower than any other place.
I would have to receive free shipping or some kind of discount on the transaction. That would make me feel like I got a good deal and didn't overpay.
The value of the products, if they're cheap at all. The brand names as well. The quality of the product, does it look worth it or not.
I would buy a product from a new online store if it had rock bottom prices.
Nothing at all would convince me, there's no way I'd buy something from a new and untrusted online store, that's just asking to get scammed
I think that the price would probably be the number one factor, but it would have to be combined with enticing and trustworthy product images as well.
I would need a really good price, that would make me feel like I was getting a good enough deal to take a chance.
If the brand new store had zero customer reviews I'd need to see a lot of in-use photos and video of the product. Video would be ideal to get the best visual of the product before I buy it. I think a money back guarantee would help me feel more confident in making a purchase too.
