Reviewing product copy is a critical step to ensure you have no grammatical errors, adhere to legal compliance and that you are speaking your customer’s language. We see a lot of mistakes in this area because as a seller, you want to use standard keywords that your vendors may use, but is that what your customers use when describing or looking for your product?

Questions you could ask:

“What is your first impression after reading this description?” “What stood out to you the most (good or bad) about the following text?” “Do you feel we did a good job communicating what this product does what the purpose it serves?” “Was anything confusing about this product description?” “After reading this, do you feel this brand/product could be trusted for quality? If not, what could we improve this?”
