Image sets let you test complete product image stacks — a main image plus up to eight supporting images — to find which combination performs best. Upload your own images or auto-import from Amazon ASINs, then compare up to eight stacks side-by-side to get feedback from real shoppers.

What is an image set?

An image set is a group of product images that appear together on a listing:
  • One main image
  • Up to eight supporting images (lifestyle shots, alternate angles, infographics, etc.)
The image set option type in the survey builder lets you test different combinations to see which resonates most with your target audience.

How to test your image sets

  1. Start a new poll — Click “New poll” in your PickFu dashboard.
  2. Choose your question type — Use Open-Ended or Star Rating to test one stack; use Head-to-Head or Ranked to compare multiple stacks.
  3. Select “image set” and add images — Upload from your device or enter an Amazon ASIN to auto-import.
  4. Customize your layout — Choose horizontal, vertical, or A+ Content layout. Drag to reorder images within each stack.
  5. Choose your target audience — Select sample size and demographic traits to reach your ideal customer.
  6. Preview and launch — Review how everything looks, then launch your poll.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use exactly 9 images? No. You can include 2 to 9 images in each set (1 main image plus 1 to 8 supporting images). Can I test just the main image? Yes, but for single-image testing we recommend using the standard image option type instead. Can I compare more than two image sets? Yes. You can test up to 8 image stacks in a single poll. Does this only work for Amazon sellers? No. You can test image sets for any e-commerce platform by uploading images directly. Auto-importing and preset layouts are currently Amazon-specific. How do I test my Amazon listing images? Enter your ASIN to automatically import your full image stack. Can I test Amazon A+ content with image sets? Yes.
