I primarily play basketball and when I forget my deodorant I tend not to care if I have odor since it would likely occur during an intense game.
I enjoy playing basketball and baseball and soccer and football. I feel that underarm odor is undesirable but not too annoying in most situations. It is most annoying in social situations and not very annoying at all when playing sports. I do not think that it really affects my game because smell does not really play a role in most of the sports I play.
I play tennis and my uniform includes sleeveless tanks. I do care about underarm odor and sweat stains as it tends to show on certain colored material. It is neither and advantange nor disadvantage, but I do feel embarassed since my teammates and other spectators might notice.
It impact me very well because I feel not comfortable and not in the game which I needed it the most.
Underarm odor if offensive. It needs to be eliminated at any cost. It does not impact a game though.
I play hockey and basketball and am also a grappler/wrestler/jiu jitsu player. Also lift weights at gym with regularity. Absolutely hate it when I realize I have forgotten to wear deodorant, and I am very self conscious about it the entire time. As soon as I start to work up a sweat I feel very inconsiderate and can tell I smell like body odor. I don't consider it an advantage at all, it just makes me feel rude.
I do not play any sports at all so the only thing that would be self-conscious if I did was sweating and I would need a good deodorant
I love playing soccer and when I forget to play something to my underarms it makes me very uncomfortable and even affects my game very negatively most of the times.
I run 6 miles every morning. I feel dirty and gross if I forget to put on my deodorant. If I can smell myself then I know others can smell it even worse.
This is why I carry a gym bag with all my toiletries in it. That way, if I forget to put something on at home, I always have it with me as far as the competitive advantage it has nothing to do with that.
Every time I think I might be smelling awful, I get a very uneasy feeling.
I like to play tennis. I like it the most. I never forget to use deodorant. I usually use it, I can't without using it.
I am an equestrian athlete of many sports and I also enjoy playing other sports from badminton to roller skating. I personally for myself feel very self conscious even if there's nobody around me when I forget deodorant. I don't like how I smell. I think it restricts me from playing my best. Thank you.
In my opinion, a player must focus more on the game than himself. If he loses focus on the game and starts to think about deodorant, he will surely lose the game. So, the player must not care about the odor and adjust for the whole game.
I play Badminton, Table Tennis, Football, Hockey and Cricket. It does not affect me much if I do not use deodorant. Truly speaking while playing games like Football, Cricket or Hockey etc. where a lot of running is involved it does not matter much and it does not have any impact on my game. There are some games where close body touch is involved like Wrestling, Boxing or Judo-Karate to some extent where the underarm odor may be irritating for the opponents, in these games the athletes sometimes do feel confident if they look and feel fresh and it affects their performance. I think it will definitely be welcome if any product works better then deodorant and they would use it and give it a try.
I play a lot of basketball, and it ruins it whenever I forget, as it makes me self-conscious and less willing to play. It negatively impacts my determination.
I exercise by running three times a week and how I feel when I forget my deodorant is uncomfortable. And even though that's not like a sport on the team it does make me self-conscious even though I run alone. Because I just am uncomfortable big time without it, so I would say it does impact.
It is all about the impression that I'm trying to make. If I'm not around people that I need to make an impression on, I dont care. ON the other hand, I'd use this in a pinch, if I need to run from the gym to an event and didnt have the time to even quick shower
The sport I primarily play is basketball. Underarm odor does not really affect my ability to play, however from time to time the smell does show up.
I participate in the sport of cycling frequently and my odor is something I am very self-conscious about and it slows me down when I do smell because it makes me anxious and over thinking it. I would love a stronger product that would stop my odor in these situations.
I play basketball and mostly I play by myself so I don't really worry or think about deodorant while playing.
I don't look at underarm odor as a competitive advantage. I do look at it as something that makes me feel more confident about myself and I like to have a good scent while I'm playing sports. So, as long as the product keeps my underarm odor from smelling and has a good scent ... that's what I look for in an underarm odor product.
for me i love playing tennis, although it can seem like its embarrassing while playing sport and having underarm odor, it only worries me if its happening outs sporting activity
I play soccer as it is my favorite sport even though i'm just average in it. I am a bit self conscious and forgetting my deodorant makes me very uncomfortable especially if i have to be close to people.
I play basket ball very often, it gives really uncomfortable when the sweat gives bad odour also I'm conscious on the stain in the underarm. Mostly I'll wear sleeveless to avoid bad odour and the sweat marks. It does not affect much my game.
I am a walker and I don't care for underarm odor. I am self conscious about this and makes it an unpleasant experience.
I feel a bit embarrassed when it happens. I feel self conscious of it. It can really impact my game negatively since I'm more worried that people will eventually notice the smel.
I primarily play low-impact sports, such as archery. I do not want to have underarm odor and I never forget to wear deodorant. It would be very self-conscious if I started to smell and it would be somewhat distracting for me.
I play basketball. I don't care if I forget my deodorant . I'm not too concerned with it while playing.
I walk tens of thousands of steps and many miles daily and weight lift 3 times a week; the products I use already would preclude me from using something else as it has not been a problem.
I hike and walk and do not wear deodorant due to fear of breast cancer so an underarm rinse is very interesting to me.
I always make sure I don’t stink. Just something I do to stay clean
I primarirly play basketball. When I forget to wear deodorant I won't play.
I primarily play basketball. I definitely wouldn't say wearing no deodorant is an advantage. It would make me a little self-conscious, but nothing major.
I play basketball pick-up games and I feel gross if I smell, it affects how I play in a bad way.
I tend to sweat the worst in the armpit when I play basketball, and I get very self-conscious when I realize how smelly my armpits are
I love sweating when i work out, but dont like smelling like im sweaty. It would impact my performance if i am too self counscious.
I play basketball on occasion with my friends and usually I don't forget to put of deodorant. I don't think it is a real advantage for anyone or distraction. If I was to forget I don't believe it would slow me down make my gameplay bad at all.
I primarily play frisbee golf. I don't have concerns of the underarm odor
Sounds like a great idea and I would prefer to not have under arm odor
I play basketball and softball. I hate when people smell or have BO. It doesn't impact my game but it is just lazy by other people. Put some deodorant on
I play basketball and also run. I don't really care if I have underarm odor while playing. It's not an advantage, but it's not something I really worry or think about.
I done plenty of high-exertion, sweaty work in my life (like landscaping), and I do not worry about odor until I am done working. I think the offensive odors mostly come from people not doing laundry often enough and not from playing sports or working hard and sweating. No, odor is not a competitive advantage, people aren't paying attention to that when competing. The sweat might be a problem if your body gets too slippery for some sports.
What sports do you primarily play, and how do you feel about it when you have underarm odor or forget your deodorant? I play basketball and I feel uncomfortable when I forget deodorant. Is it a competitive advantage or something that concerns you/are self conscious of? No I don't think it's an advantage. How does it impact your game? I don't think it impacts my performance.
i couldnt care less about my underarm body odor. if i smell ill shower or something if needed
I primarily play football and basketball. I don't typically have underarm odor, but when I forget deodorant, I feel almost naked and forgetting something extremely important. It's almost similar to forgetting your wallet or keys. I don't think any odor is a competitive advantage, I am extremely self conscious on how I smell on a daily basis. It would make me feel less confident, I wouldn't try to make plays I would only assist in basketball, and I would only really run defence on football.
I play basketball, golf, broomball. I am definitely self conscious of my odor. I do everything so my underarms do not stink. I currently use two different deodorants to battle this affliction.
I play a lot of different sports, but mainly basketball, baseball, and flag football. Under arm odor would make me extremely self conscious and would not be a competitive advantage at all since I wouldn't be able to concentrate.
I enjoy weightlifting, and get competitive with friends I go to the gym with. I don't know if that counts as a sport though. I think anyone that would use BO as a competitive advantage is disgusting. I stay clean and fresh, and if one of my workout buddies didn't, he would be told to wash his ass lol... If he consistently stinked, he wouldn't be invited to participate with us anymore.
The sport I participate in is weightlifting. I feel really self-conscious when I do not have deodorant on because I know that I smell really bad when I start sweating a lot without it. It does not impact how I perform or give me any advantage in any way whatsoever.
