Hotel building in New Orleans, need to decide which material to use on the elevator tower in the middle of the photos below (its covered in ivy) - please pick the one you like best, zinc metal plating or lime washed brick?

Lime washed brick blends in better with the rest of the design of the hotel, so I prefer Option A to Option B.
I strongly prefer option A because I think that the lime washed brick is much more classy and visually appealing than the zinc metal plating in option B.
Lime wash has more life to it, steel looks so cold and dead
Lime washed brick is a nice look for this hotel. This looks better I feel and fits in with New Orleans a bit better. Good look for this here and that just feels more in tune with New Orleans.
I prefer A. I think A looks more natural and is more physically attractive. Option B looks a bit more industrial and less appealing.
I think the answer to this one is quite obviously option A you have a lighter colored building and your installing an elevator Tower do you want the lime-washed brick where the Ivy's going to be able to grow and look very natural plus the limewash brick is going to match the rest of the exterior the building versus the zinc metal plating looks very industrial and clashes with the rest of the building I would never install that on this sort of structure
I liked that this option featured a softer color tone.
I definitely like the brick better. It is more traditional and makes something look higher quality and hand crafted
I think it looks much more natural even if hard to keepup with
The lime washed brick looks a lot more classic and conducive to the New Orleans area. The metal plating would stand out in a bad way. Beautiful project!
Option A all the way for durability and flexibility. With lime washed brick you could paint the surface as needed and it will never rust even as it ages and gets dings and scratches and scrapes. It will always be brick. It will also hold up much better to the elements in the long run.... Remember Katrina... Brick will be a much better medium for the next storm event... and yes... there will be another storm event and surge. New Orleans is built on a flood plain delta after all.Option B will be hot in the sun, Zinc being a metal will conduct heat readily and it will expand and contract with the temperature fluctuations causing micro cracks to open in the surface. Once cracked, scraped, gouged etc. The underlying metal will rust. The zinc plating cannot withstand the weather conditions present in New Orleans and the constant rain situations.Option A is a much better choice as outlined.
I like the lime washed brick shown in option A the best because I like how it makes the building have a vintage kind of look to it.
I don't like the other metal alternative as much.
The other material looks cheap in my opinion. This makes the building look sturdy and nicer in general.
The zinc looks really weird and I would also imagine that it gets very very hot
Option A seems more visually alluring to me; it seems to fit the structure better and make for a better view. Option B isn't bad, but option A is preferred.
I hate the pre-fab, plastic look of the metal. The stone looks more authentic.
I like having a balcony view to sip on my coffee and look at the people who are walking by.
I think B looks much too futuristic and modern for a historic city like New Orleans
I like option A looks authentic. I find it stands out well.
I think the lime washed brick is better. It's more classic looking.
Lime washed brick gives you a warmer gr. Metallic is cold and not inviting
This one fits into the color of the building better than the other one. That one stands out too much.
Option A looks a lot more clean and modern, but Option B is also really, really nice.
Option A is better as the brick seems to fit in with the overall aesthetic a lot more.
I like the Lime washed because it makes it look more appealing than the metal look. I think it makes the hotel look better
For New Orleans I would appreciated the classic look of the brick.
I think Option A looks more cohesive and less like one of those architectural monstrosity McMansions that have 30 different types of architectural styles.
The lime washed brick seems much more colorful - the zinc color seems like it's from a dystopia movie
The brick looks way more natural in New Orleans
the lime washed brick fits perfectly into the design
I prefer Option A - it is more eclectic and has personality. Option B seems so standard, like there is nothing original about it. Option A almost seems a bit retro.
I chose Option A because I love the look of the lime washed brick. It gives the building a very traditional feeling, which I associate with New Orleans. I think the lime washed brick is much more in character with the old town and the traditional feel that it has.

I love how sleek and unique option B with the zinc metal plating looks. It makes the building stand out in such a nice way, very unique and beautiful!
I chose option B because I like that the zinc coated metal stands out and is a contract to the rest of the building. I think it looks nice and it different than every other building.
I really prefer option B I think the zinc metal plating adds a really beautiful contrast to the building and gifts it more of a expensive ambience . I think that option A which is the limestone Just looks more plain and generic. Option B just looks really amazing very elegant and it looks kind of like it might have a nice patina Once it ages.
b has a more luxury appeal to it
The durablity of the product choice was considered, how well it fit for intended uses.
I like the zinc metal. It looks retro but yet modern. The lime brick will immediately start looking dirty in New Orleans humidity but the zinc will likely have a historic patina as it ages.
Oh for sure the metal. It fits the New orleans jazz vibe. The lime washed looks like something you'd see on a bank. Way too white as well. You expect New orleans to have a little grime and that looks like a lot of maintenance if they don't just let the algae grow on it.
I think that choice B looks like the best design of the two.
I prefer the option B zinc metal plating style for this kind of elevator tower because the metal plating really highlights that this is a machine tower like an elevator and it stands out much more than the option A material.
I like this one because it seems more consistent and it would look good and strong because the zinc metal plating. It would look more natural and reliable.
I love the zinc metal. It’s very sleek
The zinc makes the entire project stand out more. It gives something new to the area.
The zinc metal has a nice color contrast to the white building and looks very stylish! The white on white in A does not look as attractive
I love the contrast in choice B, the zinc and limewashed brick are a great contrast that makes the building stand out and pop. Choice A looks kind of bland.
I choose B because B has better illustration with visually appealing details, grabbing attention of customers immediately
This cover has a better look and much cleaner as well. I think that’s the best choice and would be preferred.
I think B would look really nice and give that little French touch like some of the roofs in Paris.
