The images with more detailed colors would be more fun to paint since you will have more options to use

I based my options on what would be more fun to paint, favoring more descriptive backgrounds with plenty of small details (I personally am a very detail oriented person and would love these).

I chose A first because there is nothing complicated to paint and the options of a variety of colors for the sky is appealing. I chose E second because it also seems less complicated than some of the others and the large sky offers a variety of color choices. I chose G next because it is also less complicated than the remaining choices and I am not a strong person artistically. I also like the large portion of sky. I chose F next because the scenery was more appealing to me than the remaining choices. I chose H next because the sky offers a lot of color choices and it seems less complicated than C and D. I chose C over D because the bridge is more inviting than all of the rocks in D and the sky is brighter. I chose B last because it seems very cheesy.

I like the ones with the pretty skies best, but the lighthouse is really nice too.

I chose the pictures with the most colors first and with better colored gradients. A B G & E were the best with this but the other 4 are very much one color overall so i dont think itd be very fun or exciting to paint with numbers

My favorite is the trees and the sky. It lets your imagination run wild as to what the bottom of the picture would look like. The colors are mesmorizing and it gives me the most pleasure to look at. The middle choices are mostly beach and reminds me of happy times that I have had at the beach. The last one is terrible. It looks like something an 11 year old girl would hang in her room. It's not grown up.

I liked pictures with lots of color

I preferred the high quality pictures with contrasting colors.

They are all really great photos. And would work well

I imagine that when painting by numbers, you need to have more simplistic images so that it's easier for the user to follow along. If the image itself is too difficult and there ends up being a plethora of numbers, the user might become frustrated and annoyed. My choices reflect the simplicity of each image, with the simplest being the first choice, and the most difficult being the last choice. I also ordered my choices based on the vibrancy of the colors involved; the more colorful the image, the better.

I think all of these images would be difficult to use in a paint by number activity. I chose the images because I felt they could be segmented into areas that could be painted separately until the whole image was assembled.

i think the pictures of nature or outside scenes are great especially the remote ones it puts people minds in that place gives you good vibes like the beach

I am a person who loves being near water, so anything with water is going to appeal to me. I decide on colors and the mood those colors evoke. I don't like art that looks like what a college student would have in their dorm room or first apartment.I like clouds because I also like thunderstorms.

I chose the most complex and colorful ones to begin with which were D, G, E, A, F and H. B and C were not very pretty and somewhat blurry so they were listed last. I prefer the tropical scenery to the shoreline so C was made last.

D is very pretty and has nice colors that I find pleasing. C is bright, cheery and peaceful looking. F has some very interesting colors and looks very dramatic and interesting. H has some great colors and the green boat is very striking. E is okay bu a bit bland; I think it needs one more contrasting color added to it to give it that "oomph." B is all right, but I don't really care for the heart, plus the colors are too vibrant and a bit garish for my personal taste. A has some great colors - I love the sky but it simply looks incomplete to me, like the lower half was just cut off. G has some gorgeous blues, but it looks lonely and boring to me.

I really like the vacation feel ones.. The ones that you can look at and imagine yourself in the setting. The colors of the sky are vibrant and beautiful

Considering the fact that I am a semi-professional photographer and know a good photo when I see it (my wife is a real professional photographer) I picked what I thought were the best pictures. I determined which one I would have like to have taken and chose those in relative order. And I pretty much know what I am talking about. Love the first three or four. The others were ok, but I wouldn't have taken them.

Landscapes are nice when they are bright and cheerful. These are in order of what I perceive as bright. The last is child-like, which is a motify that is unappealing to me.

I prefer more envoriment focuses images rather than ones that invovle people or things made by people.

This was actually really difficult because I really liked all of these. I chose E, H, D, C, and G as my top five favorites because I love the colors and I think these scenes would be excellent for paint by number/3D diamond paintings. I chose A, B, and F as my bottom three because I'm less inclined to hang the completed work in my home.

I think the pictures that are a little less complicated but still beautiful are the best choices. Option C is a nice scene but seems like it wouldn't be great to do a color by number picture of, while option E is just as nice of a scene yet has more solid colors.

The bright contrasts between areas of the image feels appealing for a paint by number so there is an easy way to delineate the difference in colors between areas like the trees and sky or lighthouse and night sky.

I'm a sucker for a good tropical beach scene as that is often my computer background. The bridge and lighthouse also look really awesome. The last few pictures are decent but not overly thrilling

My last 2 choices seem blurry to me and I wouldn't want them around. All the others seem to be high quality, though.

I like F because I think images of famous landmarks are the most interesting to me to paint and to look at. I like the next 4 too because I like palm trees and I think they would be fun to paint and they also look peaceful, which I like, especially now when everything is going on. I like G also but I chose it 6th because even though the image is attractive and I would hang it on my wall, I don't think it would be as fun to paint because of all the sky in the image. The last 2 I don't really care for at all.

I like F the best because it's more dreamy and enticing than the rest

i chose the ones that i feel would take more elbow grease to start and therefore would look better as an end result.

These just seem to all have the same beautiful feel. I love the emotion these generated within me.

Choice F was the most colorful and eye-catching. The beautiful landscape, skyline, and the Golden Gate Bridge makes a great motif. Choices D-C offered less of a challenging motif, but still had a lot to offer in terms of color, style, and artfulness. Choice B was the worst of all the choices. It lacked anything appealing to me.

Option F is my first choice because I love the overall picture, color scheme and design. This seems like it would be a really fun painting to recreate on my own using the paint by number system. I also love options G and A. The bright, vibrant colors are really pretty and would also be really fun to paint. The rest of the pictures are all pretty in their own way, but I don't feel I would have as much fun painting them.

First, please pull C out all together. It is out of focus, poor. B is also garbage, it's not well focused and is something a child might make. No one wants this as their end goal. F is best, It's iconic. Golden Gate is recognizable and this photo is of quality.

Option F has an object with a structure but is still interesting enough to be appealing. It has a lot of details that would make painting by numbers interesting and challenging. The colors also contrast well to make differentiating areas easier. Option G follows in similar respect to Option A in terms of having an object of focus but is more simple and therefore less interesting. Options H, C, D, A, and E all contain natural scenery which may present itself as very difficult to too difficult and therefore aren't as appealing. Lastly, Option B is too simple to present a challenge.

I always like the image of a lighthouse for some reason. The other ones seem like normal beach scense.

I think that G has a lot of pleasing colors that might be enjoyable to paint. The lighthouse is also a simple shape that might be enjoyable to paint. The trees in A are also interesting an the sky has pleasing colors which might appeal to people. G and A have appealing compositions as well. They might look good hanging on a wall. I think F and E also have pleasing compositions and colors that might be fun to paint.

Number four would look the best because the Golden gate bridge is very iconic.

The colors are more vivid and looks like they would come out better as a picture

I liked images of water and beach scenes. Just more relaxing. I liked the more colorful ones.

Choice G is my top pick because I think it is the coolest of all of the images. The lighthouse with it's light at night. The multicolored sky with the stars. It is just a really nice image that I think people would like to do. Choice D was second because I liked the way the image was presented with the sky and the water rolling into the beach perfectly with the trees. Choice F was third because the image of the Golden Gate bridge with the sky in the background looks really cool and something that would be good to replicate. Choice C was fourth because I like how the walkway goes out towards the ocean with the trees around it. Choice B was fifth because I think that people would enjoying doing the big heart in the sand in contrast with the water. Choice A was sixth because I like the contrast between the palm trees and the colored sky in the background which looks really cool. Choice H was seventh because while the sky and the green boat are nice I feel like the angle of the image would involve painting too much sand in it. Choice E was last because I also feel like the image has too much sand in it and the people in the image was detract from the natural look of it.

It would seem to me that the paintings with clearly defined colors and not with colors blended together would be easier to paint or 3d diamond. If the paintings have gradations of colors that would be very hard to paint by the numbers and would look pixilated. That is why I choose the rankings that I did.

The first five are pretty amazing. I really like choices G, F and H. Choice C and B almost look like they are out of focus. They basically look like they either need to be postage stamp sized or viewed from 20 feet away.

I like the picture of the lighthouse the best, I just like the colors and the way it looks. The Golden Gate Bridge is my second choice with the blues and oranges. I think option E is the best looking beach photo out of the bunch.

I like the first few pictures but I also kept an eye out for how difficult the painting would be. Some are nicer than others but I'd hate to get one and then fail at doing it. The first few i think will be great.

the realist photos are most attractive to me i would have them blown up very large though

I like the composition and the color. it evokes vivid emotions in me and makes me want to act. it is realist looking and there is a touch of the green color on the beach which i appreciate.

I think paint by numbers neccesarily relies on clear geometric shapes within the overall image. There needs to be clear definition and clear boundaries between elements, otherwise it's difficult to label areas. I tried to rate photos in this regard.
