AI Summary

In this survey, 50 respondents were asked to choose between two business names that would offer a higher branding potential by portraying luxury while having a nice sound to it. The winning option was BELLUCCI KITCHENS & FINE CABINETRY with 28 votes out of 50. The name "Bellucci" was perceived as more elegant and upscale, reminiscent of Italian names often associated with luxury and quality. Respondents also noted the use of the word "fine" in the business name further emphasized the high-end nature of the brand. Additionally, respondents found that Bellucci had a nicer ring to it and was easier to remember than Govani.

Across all options, three important topics emerged: ease of pronunciation/spelling (mentioned by 14 respondents), luxurious/upscale sounding (mentioned by 13 respondents), and memorable/nice-sounding (mentioned by 12 respondents). Respondents preferred business names that were easy to pronounce and spell as they believed this would make it easier for them to remember. They also valued luxurious or upscale sounding names as they felt that these conveyed higher quality products or services. Finally, many noted that memorable or nice-sounding names would be more likely to stick in their minds.

Based on these results, further hypotheses could be tested such as whether including an Italian-sounding name increases perceptions of luxury or whether using words like "fine" in a business name increases perceptions of quality. Another hypothesis could test whether certain sounds are more appealing for luxury brands than others - for example, whether sounds ending in "-ucci" are perceived as more high-end than other sounds. Finally, testing different combinations of words could help determine which types of phrases are most effective at conveying both luxury and memorability simultaneously - for example, testing phrases like "Luxury Kitchens & Fine Cabinetry" versus "Fine Luxury Kitchens & Cabinetry."

Easier to spell and pronounce.

A

Option A had a better ring to it.

A

A is more attractive and the details are easy to understand as compared to choice B for me.

A

I think Govani sounds more classy and hign end

A

Even though both sound impressive, Govani sounds more luxurious and high quality.

A

Govani Kitchens rolls off the tongue much more smoothly. It fits. Bellucci is also a good name but doesn't have the smoothness with the "chee" sound at the end.

A

I rather prefer the option A luxury business brand name because I think that this name is shorter and sounds more appealing that the hard sounding option B luxury business brand name.

A

I like them both, as they both sound like a luxurious Italian brand. I am more drawn to Option A because I think it sounds more exotic.

A

I actually like both of these names, but "Govani" rolls off the tongue better and sounds more luxurious in my opinion.

A

I feel the name GOVANI sounds more upscale. The name BELLUCCI sounds like a pizza joint.

A

A This name has a nice flow to it and I believe that it will be a name that will be easy to remember. It sounds upper end and high class. It gives meaning to higher quality. GOVANI KITCHENS & FINE CABINETRY

A

A- Govani sounds nicer and more luxurious. Bellucci of B could sound like a belch

A

Govani is easily the best. It flows off the tongue easily. It sounds upscale, high-class. Bellucci gets stuck in the back of your throat. It sounds like a fat, Italian chef. It does not sound high-quality at all. It sounds low brow.

A

I like Govani best here, it sounds classy, though to be honest Bellucci is also fine.

A

GOVANI KITCHENS & FINE CABINETRY doe sound luxurious, feels like a place that would add lots of prestige to my image

A

Govani is easier to say and spell while sounding like a high end named establishment.

A

"GOVANI KITCHENS & FINE CABINETRY" is pretty good. I think it's a really good fit. I think it conveys the image that you want to put out there.

A

I like A more because I think there is more alliteration to the words with the hard sounding G of Govani along with Kitchens and Cabinetry. It sounds more like a family name to me even though I know both names are last names, but this one sounds stronger and more like this business has been around for a while and they know what they are doing. I think this one would convey more that they work with luxurious items and you can even try and make the logo with the G to be similar to fashion logos where they have the right facing and backward facing initials. That would tie it in with being a luxury brand even more. Mostly I think it's this last name that makes me think of old world Italy scenes where there is a lot of elegance and beautiful lifestyles of opulence and luxury. There could be a catchphrase like "of course it's luxury, it's a Govani!"

A

I prefer Govani, it rolls off the tongue better than Bellucci in my opinion. Govani also seems like it would be easier to pronounce for English speakers and more memorable.

A

Definitely choice A. I like the sound of the name Govani more than Belluci, and I think it sounds much more luxurious.

A

Option sounds like it is Italian and thus could be high quality.

A

Govani goes better with both "kitchen" and "cabinetry". The other name is much harder to pronounce and write.

B

GOVANI sounds like a stereotypical Italian-American name.

B

This name sounds luxurious while still being easy to pronounce. I feel like the other name "Govani" could cause some confusion when it comes to pronunciation.

B

just sounds familiar, quality, has a history like its been around for ages.

B

Bellucci reminds me of Monica Belluci, which is a good thing

B

B sounds a little more fun to say in my opinion.

B

I find B rolls off my tongue more easily and just sounds more pleasant overall.

B

Probably because B reminds me of a movie star. Just seems so glam.

B

B's name I feel is better because it has more flow to it compared to A.

B

I would go with option B because to me it sounds more extravagant. Option A feels less interesting to me overall!

B

the name bellucci seems high class to me.

B

Bellucci implies 'bella' which means 'beauty'.

B

This name rhymes with Gucci which is very high end fashion. Any name ending in "ucci" sounds upscale. So that is why I chose B.

B

Bellucci has a more refined sound

B

I liked choice B since the name is more direct and to the point while sounding high end.

B

Bellucci sounds fancy and is easier to say.

B

This name sounds rather creative and I like the overall combination of letters to form the business.

B

While I like both, my gut reaction was that option B was slightly more attention grabbing and memorable.

B

MY first thought was the actress Monica Bellucci who reminds me of the qualities described

B

I like Bellucci better. It sounds better and more luxurious. It seems more unique as well.
