For a business-to-business promotional deal provided from our photo booth franchise to corporations planning events, which subject line for an email most grabs your attention and persuades you to most likely click and see what the deal inside is?
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 31 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
C | 48% 24 votes | 48% 24 votes | 62% 31 votes +7 |

D | 24% 12 votes | 26% 13 votes +1 | Eliminated 13 votes reassigned |

I chose A first because it feels personal and a bit more unique than the other options. I chose B next because listicle-style headlines often do catch my attention, because they're usually easy to digest or just skim through. I chose option D next because I liked it slightly better than option C, which seemed most spammy and forgettable to me. The wording of D still isn't great, because I get a huge amount of emails already every day about deals, offers, sales, etc.
Option "A": In order of preference, this option is the more enticing and would illicit the most curiosity comparatively; I'd be most apt to check out this offering as it has the most appeal.

b is the best because it doesnt really seem like you are trying to sell them anything, it is more like you are giving them tips with the skills or products they already have. the other ones seem like a scam, i wouldnt ever click on something that comes through my email offering discounts because i always feel like they are fishing. and a just seems like a newsletter which in it of itself tends to be boring as all heck
I think all of these subject lines are bad and would honestly trigger our spam filters, unfortunately. If I had to choose, B sounds the most legitimate given it claims 5 concrete reasons with a justification, which sounds more business-like. C definitely sounds like a promotion but at least the promotion is quantified clearly. D sounds like a scam. A sounds like it is spam and auto-generated as it does not specify the "what" or "why."
I don't like how vague A and D are. D is really overselling so I had to vote that last. I liked B's simplicity without overstating. C was not as easy to comprehend.
I chose Option B as my first choice because I like the wording and find it to be in line with the offerings
Of all four B seems the most interesting so I chose it first.D is casual and quirky so I chose it second.A is okay so I chose it third.C is confusing. I'm not really sure what it implies so I chose it last.
A is my last choice as it is too generic and there's no hook. I like B as my first choice as it makes me want to read the email to see what the list includes. C is a good second choice since it lays out a tangible offer, so anyone interested will want to read the email. D is fine, but also seems a big generic as well. This is like the email subject equivalent of a clickbait YouTube video title.
B first as it sounds more like an article than a sales pitch. D next as its a funny tag line and made me curious by being vague. C follows as its pretty straightforward, no reason to look more into it. D is last as it sounds like clickbait.
B and D feels the most reasonable subject line to me. They're both subjects which might provide something interesting to read about. C and D feel like generic deal spam and would only be something I would open if I'm already in the market for something from the company.
I really like the in-depth approach shown in Option B. It will provide the most detail in what to B2B phone booth proposal.
I went with titles that seemed to give the most tangible information.
B sounds more interestingD and A sound like some sort of promotional scamC makes no damn sense whatsoever
B is the only option that sounds remotely professional and legitimate, but even then it's borderline. I do not, as a practice, ever open marketing emails and none of these would convince me to do so.

C is a simple and direct deal. A sounds like clickbait.
C seems like the most tangible deal.
I like that C telegraphs the benefit immediately, which would entice me more to click.
I think Option C is the only one that grabs my attention. Mostly because it sounds like a pretty good deal.
I like straight up offers with no fluff so C is the clear cut choice. B mentions reasons to validate a purchase. D still targets the customer but infers that their offer is good. A is trying to convince me that they have me in mind but feels hollow.
I chose C and D because it mentions the deal in the title instead of some vague article like content.
C and B feel more professional and realistic. I like that A is different, but it should kind of strange and I don't really like it. The same is true for D, but worse.
I choose Option C because it is the most straightforward-- if this is business to business, then one can dispense with the clickbait subject lines and get straight to the opening offer.
Option C tells me that there is a discount involved for purchasing more than one and that would get me to pen the email.
I prefer this option the best. I am always interested in a deal and a get one free deal is the best.
I think all four options feel pretty generic, but at least Option C gets right to the point and offers me a benefit straight away. That would be more enticing to me
Options C and D are the best ways to grab my attention with keywords that most people always look for when sales and deals pop up.
The first two choices are otiuons that I might chose if pressed to the 3rd and 4th options are not feasible.
The first 2 choices I selected appear to be the best with the fact that a deal is present being mentioned in both titles. The last 2 options sound more like the headline to an email or an article and they don't prioritize the fact that a deal is taking place
Given the context, I'm looking for more bang for the buck. So Option C is going to catch my eye first, and D is also interesting. B doesn't really seem to have anything to do with the setting, and A is too generic to be of any value.
C is a specific offer and D is direct but the other two are vague and spam-sounding.
Option C offers the most literal reward for engaging with the product/service.
C is the only one I like in that it gives some actual concrete offer. D isn't great but at least it is talking about a deal, unlike B and A, which really just sound like vague spam mails.
I think C is because it explains the deal exactly and tells me what I'm getting offered. Option B also is clear in what it's trying to offer, even though it's not as direct as a straight deal. I think D and A aren't very good because it's unclear and just trying to get my attention. I think Option A is too vague for me to be interested in.
I chose C first because it shows that you are getting a deal for a smaller purchase and a better deal for a larger purchase so you benefit no matter what choice you make. I chose B next because the title "5 Reasons to Simplify, Prioritize and be Flexible this Season" grabs my attention when thinking about benefits for my business. These attributes make me curious about the 5 reasons that they give. I chose D third because it gets me curious about what they consider the best deal that they have ever offered. It makes me want to click the email to see what it has to say. I chose A last because it is so vague that I would probably just pass over the email.
Option C just sounds like an amazing deal, convincing me to interact with it.
I don't love any of these. They all scream SPAM email to me. Option C at the very least tells you what kind of savings you potentially are getting. The rest are vague and click baity
I think C generates the most excitement and grabs my attention-- i always like deals and look for ways to save so this one draws my attention
I think being up front about the nature of the promotion I am more likely to click on it rather than some vague sales pitch. More specific the better.

I chose option D because this tagline makes me think that I'm getting a very special deal.
The best deal ever offered always grabs my attention.
D and A caught my attention more as they indicated a special deal.
The best deal offered? That would make me check out the email so option D was an easy choice for me. Option A has a bit of mystery to the line so I probably would see what the email is about. Option C is a little confusing regarding what "more" means; I can see that I am offered a deal but I don't know if that is enough to make me check out the email. Option B's subject line appears more like a lead in to an advice blog and not a promotional deal.
D was my first choice because "best deal" really makes it stand out. C was second because it's specific about the deal. B is third because it would make me want to see the 5 reasons. A was fourth because I didn't care for it.
This is the best because it is a deal and you'd be saying that you're being honest about it.
D feels straight forward and honest, which catches one off guard compared to usual sales pitches.B feels like its giving some helpful information.C is generic and A is the annoying ad headline that gets on my nerves everyday.
D - I would explore this one because if it really is the best deal they've ever offered, then it's probably a good deal.B - The words simplify and flexible are powerfulC - It sounds like there's a good deal in there somewhereA - tells me absolutely nothing, so I don't like it.
I thought that D was the best of the choices given and A was average. C sounds way too confusing to me so I chose it last.
Option D makes me curious enough to click on the offer.
Based on the business model described above, only option D makes sense. I don't understand the B2B model and quoting price gimmicks.
A and B are empty promises. D sounds the most appealing because it sounds reasonbaly believable. C is also an easy way to understand the promotion.
