I selected choice A because it automatically stood out and captured my attention. I think the colors and the over all design are more visually appealing to the eye than the other choice.
I'm assuming this is for a dating service, so this image portrays more what I think of with this type of app--a person looking at their phone to find a date. It's more eye catching and gives a clearer image of what the app is.
i feel having an outline of a person in the picture is very important it lets users know they will indeed talk to people
I like that it looks like a woman is texting or talking to me. That's why I'd use the app, so that's what I want to see.
It is more colorful and stands out. I like the purple woman and this option gives more information
The graphic of the woman is definitely more eye catching, but why not have a woman and a man?
The person and the colors in this icon stick out and are more memorable in my opinion.
I like the woman silhouette and easy readability of the app name. The other option feels a bit cluttered and unfocused.
cleaner appearance, without the person it looks less tacky and more professional
I don't need any pictures, I like the straightforward text. Wifi symbol is a very nice touch.
I think B is definitely better. It's sleeker looking and it also doesn't show a woman like A which makes it look one sided.
I just like the simplicity of this one and it doesnt single out one gender for useage.
I really dislike the bright purple/pink coloring in Option A - it's really hard on the eyes. Also the logo text doesn't stand out anywhere near as well in Option A as it does in Option B.
I like this one better because it is pretty eye catching. I like the layout of the design where it isn't too flashy and obnoxious. Not only do I like the layout design but I also really enjoy the color scheme.
The other option's silhouette looks too cartoon-ish. I like the simple design of my selection better.
I much prefer B because it's classier looking than A. A looks sketchy to me.
This doesn't imply that it's for men or women specifically. It's more universal.
The outline of the girl in A looks creepy. I would not want her on the logo of an app I was using.
Option "B" has a professional feel to me. I seems to me I could trust "B"more than I could "A" which feels a bit scammy to me.
There is no need for a pink silhouette icon because the text is sufficiently explanatory and makes sense.
It is better sight wise so you know what it is, the other being that it is going to be a small icon you may not know what it is right away.
I think A would make men feel like it's not for them because there's a picture of a woman.
I prefer this basic icon better, the woman graphic is kind of cheesy, reminds me of a 1970s graphic.
Because A shows a woman, what if I'm a woman looking for a man? This icon doesn't appeal to me. The one with just text is more neutral. And I like the heart.
Option A is too busy and wouldn't look as good when shrunk down to icon-size.
A is little more striking but the pink silhouette doesn't do anything for me. Another color might work better but otherwise I have to go with B.
I like option b it isn't too complex and it looks way better than option a who's trying too hard.
The female in the picture makes it look like this is only for women. If you want men to use the app too, you need to have it be gender neutral so it can appeal to all sexes.
