The female flight attendant looks friendlier than the male pilot which gives the icon a slightly more positive feeling.

I would prefer A because the name of the game makes it sounds like a classic time management type of game, which means I would expect it to be about serving drinks/food and performing other such duties. So I feel like the pic with the stewardess makes more sense.

I feel a greater connection between airlines and flight attendants. I feel the attire is iconic. Being a tycoon I want to feel I am more in charge of everything, flight attendants help that impression better than pilots.

I think the flight attendant is more interesting visually than the pilot. Grabs your attention more.

Option A looks more devious / plotting / ready to take things over. Option B is too friendly

This one just looks more appealing than option B.

I like the lighter features that the female character offers here. With that said, B is also an excellent choice and may resonate more with a male fan base.

Since it's a Sim Tycoon game you won't be flying planes so I think it would be better to show the stewardess because you will be managing stuff like that.

No real preference. I suppose there are fewer pilots to 'manage' than other roles if you're managing an entire airline so maybe emphasize them. Plus, pilots can be associated with any flying at all whereas service workers are more to do with airlines.

While either one would work, Option B with the pilot would probably get me to play more than Option A with the stewardess because I'd have no interest in simulating/playing a stewardess.

B seems more attractive to me because it has a pilot instead of a attendant. Maybe because I'm a guy and he is a guy or it makes me think I'll be doing more flying based things than attendant type things.

A flight attendant would be better if the game is focused on one plane and its service, but if the idea is flying and expansion, a larger view is better.

I think that Option B seems to be a better character to simulate than Option A.

Both icons have their merits, but more often people think of the pilots when thinking about airliners. You can go with the stewardess if you care about sex appeal. B would be more apt.

The pilot is going to be downloaded by boys and girls. The flight attendant might be downloaded mostly for/by girls.

Generally think there is more male pilots then female. Someone playing the game would probably relate more to the picture with a male pilot, the woman, i don't even think is a pilot.

Unfortunately, men are still associated with CEO and authority-type roles. Option B would be taken more seriously than option A.

It would make more sense to have the pilot, as the pilot flys the plane and is relevant to a simulator.
