I mean, if it is a bad picture I won't be convinced of the item quality.
I like seeing the product but mostly I care about reviews from actual buyers
A photograph can give as much or more detail than text, things like a sense of size, scale, color in relative lighting, etc.
Having professional images of your product does influence me in terms of buying it
I think it plays a big part. You wanna know exactly what you're getting so you need some good pictures
It isn't the most important thing but it does give off a nice impression and may be the reason I click on that listing.
IF it has a nice photo, and one has a garbage photo, i'd pick the good photo.
It really depends on the product. Some things that I would be manipulating, utensils, tools etc. I would want to see, to ensure they look like I can handle them properly.
It depends on the quality, if it looks low effort it is a turn off as a buyer
It depends on the product. I'm more practical when it comes to products and see how it will help me. I don't care about looks as long as it gets the job done.
I think the picture is the first thing I look at. A good picture peaks my interest and wants me to keep learning more
A lot I like to see what an Item looks like and how its used
If the item is represented with a quality photo that depicts the product in the light that I would use it, it makes all the difference to the buyer
A photo draws me in to study the product more. If I read, I'll get interested enough to buy.
Well photographed products can really nudge me to consider buying or buy a product. If the photo is poorly lit or surrounded by 'stuff' unrelated to the product it really makes me reconsider whether I really want it.
It influences a lot because when buying online, you have nothing but the photo to rely on when making your decision.
It doesn't hurt, but seeing a good description or a bunch of positive reviews is far more important and relevant.
It's the most important thing -- if the picture looks bad or seems unclear or not detailed I assume that I am being scammed or that the product is low quality. I don't trust the description unless the pictures are clear and match the description.
For something like home goods and decorations, absolutely. You don't need to make art or even catch my eye. You just need to show me the reality of the product.
very much / if the picture is not good, I will move to another brand
Admittedly, the images of a product affect my judgement of a product pretty heavily. It's the first thing I see, and I imagine most people see, so if that's poor quality or boring there's definitely a chance I'll skip right over it. Especially if I'm only casually shopping. If I'm specifically looking for something, or trying to be thrifty, then I pay much closer attention, but if I'm not already inclined towards one brand or another, since the stock list of a site like Amazon is so massive, I end up filtering to at least some extent off quickly digested information like images and titles. Otherwise you could be suck browsing all day.
I think a good photo of the product is important and makes people more likely to buy it, however I'd care more about the price and it's condition.
Not really, I rely more on reviews than on photos of the product
How a product looks is important, so better clearer and sharper photos will have a better chance of getting me to buy a product versus. On the other hand, if a product has no photos, blurry unprofessional photos, or very few photos that will keep me from buying a product, so yes good photos are important to me.
I am more apt to purchase a product that is presented in the most optimal way in photos.
As long as the photos show what I need to see I don't really care what their quality is.
It is absolutely critical to me to be able to see a product before purchasing it. I like being able to see size, color, shape etc, before I purchase an item.
5 because it allows me to visualize a product, such as how I might use it and it also excites me about potentially owning a product.
It does help a lot. I want it to look like it's coming from a reputable company or manufacturer.
When shopping online you can't physically pick up or touch an item, so the photography becomes very important. It can give an idea of quality, size, ratios etc.
4. I think a picture is worth a thousand words as they say and a good picture of a product will make it a lot more appealing
it does very much, if it looks sloppy i assume it has shortcuts taken
The first impression of a product says a lot about it and the worth of it, the better the photo on the product the more customers it will be able to attract and will become popular faster.
I think that the product images are very important, especially for products that are hard to visualize with the product description alone.
If the product photography looks unprofessional or unclear, I immediately don't trust the product or its quality. I'd look for alternative options.
Product photography is heavily influential in my everyday decisions to buy a product, because it can make things look much more appealing and attractive. If the photography is badly done, or even badly cropped or pixellated on the website, I am very unlikely to even look at the product.
I need to see what it is. A clear picture helps. I want to know what it’s use is.
It could be the greatest product in the world but if the photo is not well done, I do not know the quality or exactly what I am getting
A very big deal to me, because the overall depiction of a product is made by the visuals of it. So if a product is poorly displayed in pictures, I'm much less likely to view it or buy it. If it has quality photos from multiple angles and looks appealing, I'll probably consider purchasing it more often than not.
More over most of them want buy the product is like a photography product. so I rate five star all age of the people current living product is not anymore that is a photography product so I choose to rate this amount.
It matters to me if it's something I haven't bought before but if it's something I buy often it isn't that important so I rated it a 3.
The photography of a product has a lot of influence on the decision I am going to make about the product.
I think that the photo of the product is maybe the most important thing besides price
It's definitely important. A good photo can make the product look higher-quality and more professional.
I think that it helps me get a picture of what the item is but it is not a huge influence on me as I know that there are other things to consider as well.
It influences me a lot because I like to see what an item looks like.
I would say it is close to the most important thing when you are shopping online. Sight is most people's most relied on sense, and if you can't actually see something you have to rely on the picture. People will see the picture before they ever start to read any description or even see any rating. A good picture can make a junk product sell heavily and a bad picture can sink a great product.
It's true, a picture is worth a thousand words. It can really make or break a sale. When you're scrolling through hundreds of choices, an outstanding photo can make all the difference on whether or not I click on an item. I am more than willing to try products from people who have less than desirable photos - but those are generally from small sellers, like crafters on Etsy. But a big business selling mass-produced items, yeah, you better have good quality photos otherwise I'll be suspect on the quality of your items.
Product photos are highly influential and can make or break a purchase. Let's say a product is a great price, but the photos aren't appealing. If I liked the price, but the product looked unappealing in the photos, I would skip the purchase.
I look really hard at the pictures when buying a product, it helps me decide whether the product will be durable over time and is truly worth the money that I would spend on it.
i want to know how it will look and that is the only way to do so online since i am not in the store to touch and feel and look
Not as import as price or description.
If I am shopping online being able to see the full item with as much details as possible through the picture always helps me decide if i like the product or not. If the photo is blurry or not very clear then I can not see the product I will just pass it without taking another look. I want to be able to see clearly what I would be purchasing since it is online and not psychically in my hands.
I’m a function over fashion kind of guy for most products but looks does play a part in certain scenarios
I think product photography definitely plays a role and helps influence my purchasing decision.
The product photography is a very important factor. Good photography helps sell me the product and make me find it attractive
The quality of the photo subliminally affects your mental image of the product. So it shouldn't matter but it does have an effect on your thinking. A good pic goes a long way.
It doesn't really carry a lot of weight with me personally
It depends on the kind of product. For fungible, function stuff, a poor photo is permissible, though unfortunate. For things where I care about the aesthetics, or where it'll be on display, a well-composed photo really helps convince me.
It is one of the most important things, and it can make or break my decision to purchase an item.
It is a determining factor.A good picture is worth a thousand words. When you go to see a movie at the cinema you are interested in:See the trailer, the artists, the genre, the duration, the critics, the time it starts, where the movie is shown. If you go to buy on Amazon, you see the photo or image (trailer) colors (artists) plastic or metal (genre) price (duration) delivery date (time) free shipping (where the movie is shown). We all do the same when we go to the movies, so the same thing happens when you go shopping on Amazon. This answer is 5 stars, it's worth more than $0.12, remember gas went up to $4.19. (lol)
If it is not eye-catchy at first glance or if it does not look good to grab my attention, why would i even look at it?
I think that both text and visuals are important, as well as a tactile experience if I am in a store and with certain types of products.
The higher the quality of the photo, the higher the quality of the product looks.
I am a visual person so photography of the product is very important to me but it's not the main or only thing so 4/5.
The quality of the photo of the product impacts whether or not it captures my attention and sets my initial impression of the quality and desirability of the product. The way the product is visually depicted also provides a lot of information regarding how it is used, contexts of use, and other attributes such as aesthetics and durability.
oh, it's huge. Seriously. A product display can make or break your product. We live in an online world, right? I can't pick up your post on Amazon, and hold it in my hand. So it's the display that sells the product.
It is relevant but there are a lot of other factors to consider as well. It really depends on the product. Also photographs can be misleading.
It can influence my decision if the product is either in the packaging or if it shown true to actual size
It's not the be-all-end-all, but it does impact my choice to click on it. The better the photo, the more likely I will click on it first over other products.
This isn’t a huge deal to me, but I’d images are low res or poorly laid out, then I’m less likely to buy. The difference between great and good imagery isn’t going to impact my decision.
I think it depends on the product. If it is vitamins, I like to see the back label of the bottle for possible interactions. When looking at clothing, it is imperative that I see all the views of it. Food, I like to see the photos as well.
It matters a bit, but it's not the only thing that I look for. I feel that the photography shows me something, but not everything that I need.
If the picture is awful, I won't buy it - even if reviews are good. But otherwise, I don't care. I care about reviews
Add a bare minimum I need to have very clear photography they can show any flaws in the product. It’s also very helpful if it’s made to look attractive but mostly I’m trying to make sure if it’s a good fit for me so I need a good photo.
i want to see how it will look because i am not in the store to get a feel for it
Product photography plays a solid part in my decision to buy a product. If I'm between two products, I will usually go for the item that has the better picture. I'm always looking for the thing that works and a decent picture adds to my perception of that.
I think that I consume with my eyes first so I definitely am influenced by product photography when buying things.
It depends on if it's showing the product in it's use, then it could definitely influence me.
The way the product is presented in the photo is important
I feel that it somewhat does influence my decision, but it does not make a huge influence that makes me feel it is not good enough to buy.
Product photography influences my decision to buy a product greatly because as a consumer I like to be able to see the product being used and all its angles. It help me feel comfortable purchasing something if someone is showing me its true forms.
I care more about what features the product has and what reviews they get. I don't care as much about the photographs.
It really depends on how high quality it is and how much it would last.
It can enhance the product and make it look more attractive.
Photography does help, but reviews are really what I focus on for most things, especially electronics. Furniture would rank higher regarding photography.
On a scale of 1-5, I think my answer is four because a picture of the product you are looking to purchase is basically the first thing you see.
I think the product sounds interesting and well designed for improving photographic content
The appearance of many products is important to me so I like when I can make a visual assessment before buying.
I feel like I can be influenced a lot by an appealing photo or especially one that gives a lot of info about the product.
Imagery is huge as it allows you to verify to a certain degree, the promises or claims made.
I truly believe a picture provides more information then a thousand words.
Probably a lot more than it should. If a product is poorly photographed or Photoshopped, I tend to distrust the product.
I would say product photos influence my decision to buy the product a lot so a 5
Product photography is one of the smallest influences on my decision to buy a product. I concentrate more on features, price, reviews, and general impression from the product description. I try to source my information from many places, so a single product image is largely ignored by me in the first place. If the product is good looking, even a mediocre photo will generally suffice in terms of showcasing visuals.
It has some influence, but it depends on the product.
How the product is portrayed says a lot about its quality and how I can envision using it. It's mostly noticeable if it is a poor job or poor photo. It is quite important that I can see the product and see it well.
If I really want to buy a product I usually go ahead and buy what I want. I do look to the images to help me make product decisions about items I don't know too much about. The images should educate me about the product and allow me to learn more about it so that I know about the item so I can make a decision. If the company wants to sell something, pictures will help
I think that product photography is one of the most essential ingredients to any good product packaging and product label design. I am very motivated to buy a product if it has good high quality photographs that show how this product is used and clearly demonstrates the main benefits of this product.
The photography means quite a bit to me. I am not sure I would purchase a product if there was a terrible picture or no picture attached to it.
