which new feature or secondary product would you like to have on/together packed with, when you purchase a dog nail clipper for home or vet grooming?
Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 31 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
D | 62% 31 votes |
B | 26% 13 votes |
C | 10% 5 votes |
A | 2% 1 votes |

As a dog care professional (I've groomed and cared for dogs for five years) I would say that including Kwik-Stop product and a metal nail file would be incredibly appreciated. Paw balm might be appreciated too. Also, a matching set of large and small clippers would be nice. The safety stops sometimes make our work more difficult because dog nails are not all the same size, so if it's included there should be a way to remove it or swivel it out of the way.

B I feel is the only thing that would be nice and helpful to have and use for pet grooming.
Its all about safety for me. My dog hates the clippers, and if he ever got actually hurt by one it would probably be awful for him.
A stop blade would be very helpful. I don't know how it would work, but I would at least look into it. An LED might be okay for dogs with light colored nails, but can't imagine it doing much for dogs with dark nails. My dog has dark nails and it's almost impossible to see the quick.
I would most want to see /have option B because I think that it is the most important and needed feature out of the available options. Option D with both the safety blade and LED would be nice, but I ranked option B first because I think that having that feature is absolutely critical.
I'd like a good gauge so you know when you should stop - the safety stop is good, but I'd like to know that I am not too far before the stop goes on - maybe that I should cut a little before that.
I like choice B the best because it features safety which is the most important
My biggest fear and gripe with cutting dogs nails is cutting too deep and I've even had my own vet cut my dog's nails too deep. Any safety feature would be a big plus I would factor in when buying a product like this. The LED is not as necessary to me as I would be cutting it outdoors in bright light.
This is very tight, concise, clear, and well-worded in a way that makes it have the most impact.
Any safety measure to avoid hurting the pet and making them the most comfortable like B and D is appealing
B because as one with two small children in the household, being able to avoid cuts is important to me and my dog.
Definitely option B because the number one thing I would worry about would be the safety of my dog, so a safety stop blade is crucial for me. I do not need an led light, but I wouldn't mind it if it were there.
Option B because the sentence is very straightforward in a very easy to read formatting
Safety is the most important thing to me when working with animals.

This arrangement is more relevant to this order and it is more attractive and very reliable
I would like light the most
I think this would be the most helpful option. I think the light would really help in the nail cutting process.
Option C is the best because the caption is well written and simple to understand for all audiences.
I made my choices this way because when trimming dogs nails it is very easy to accidently cut the nails to short and the nails to start to bleed.

I think both a the light and the blade stop are good ideas that would go well together with the clippers.
D is the best to meet my dog's needs!
I choose D first because it has the features I would want.
which new feature or secondary product would you like to have on/together packed with, when you purchase a dog nail clipper for home or vet grooming?- I would really prefer both options here, so it's kind of a no brainer. Between the two I think the LED light would make the most difference, but the safety backstop is always a good idea.
This arrangement is more relevant to this order and it is more attractive and very reliable
Both because it's always better to have more features
I think both the safety stop and the light are good safety features to add with the clippers.
I chose option D because the safety blade ensures safety to my dog and the LED light will be useful with many of my other projects around the house.
I would want a light as my eyes are getting bad and I like to see the mention of both light and safety. I cannot think of any additional ideas.
I would go with option D because having both an LED and safety blade is important. The other choices are not as optimal to me!
I chose D because both a blue light and a safe guard would be beneficial.
For Option A I would be a cap/cone or something to help distract the dog while your cutting it's nails. Option D is the best choice here.
I think having both of those features would make it a more attractive product.
I think this option sounds best because you get both the light (which would be helpful) and the safety blade.
i like the secondary feature in option D because the LED light would be a convenient feature
Option D I like the most because I get the safety blade and an LED all together. I don't have to buy them by themselves. Option B is nice but it doesn't come with and LED. Option C is only an LED so I will have to buy a safety blade too. Option A doesn't apply because I wouldn't buy anything else.
I prefer the option D dog nail accessories because I would like to have both a light and a safety blade the most. I chose option B second because I would prefer to have a safety blade more than the option C light accessory. I chose option A last because it would be nice to have a smaller nail clipper for smaller dogs but it is not necessary.
LED and safety blade would be perfect. Maybe silver nitrate sticks for option A as an additional bonus
Option D is best because it gives you both options! However, Option B is next best if you only get to choose one option since the safety of pets is more important! Option C is nice but less safe than B, so it comes in 3rd. Option A - a feature to lock the blades/handles in place for storage would be nice.
I think the safety blade would be great for a dog nail clipper. The added LED light makes D a great option. I think the safety blade is worth more than the LEd light which is why B is my second choice. The only other feature that would be handy would be to put maybe some combs into the handle making it like a swiss army knife of grooming.
I would want the safety more than anything. The light would be cool, if it works. I wouldn't buy this without testing the light first, however.
I like this option most because it would help to have the light for my dog nails that are dark and be able to use the safety blade for obvious reasons.
D is the best because it has a lot of good features, I think its a good idea to include them all if possible
I liked choice D since both options add to the safety and ease of use to the product. Choice A is too vague and uncertain which isn't as appealing to look at.
An LED light will come in handy so I can pinpoint the exact amount to cut
I think both the LED light and safety blade would be nice to have. If I had to choose one it would be the safety blade.
After carefully studying and comparing all four features that I would like paired with a dog nail clipper for home grooming, I selected Option D as my first preference and the one that I would most likely desire as I selected a product to purchase. I fell that, both the safety blade and the light would be beneficial to me when clipping my dog's nails. Option B was my second choice followed by Option C and finally Option A with all four rankings based on my own personal opinion.
I chose option D because I would like both the safety blade and the light. These are both really useful tools for when you are clipping nails, so i would like a product that comes with both of them.
I like both the LED and the safety blade together, they both sound useful. If I had to pick one, I'd prefer the safety blade.
I typically wait for the groomer to clip my dogs nails, but the occasional times I do, I'd love a safety feature that would keep me from getting in to the quick like in A and B. The led light is an interesting concept. I wasn't sure of anything else that could be used.
I picked D as my first choice because I like how that one gives both the LED light and a safety blade. I picked B as my second choice because if I had to only have one new feature, it would the safety blade since safety is the most important feature to me with this product. I picked C as my third choice because I think a LED light could still be a useful new feature if the safety blade is not available. I picked A as my last choice because I thought that answer was confusing compared to the others.
