AI Summary

In this survey, Option B emerged as the clear winner with 11 out of 15 votes. The characteristics that made Option B stand out were its conversational tone, relatability, authenticity, and a perceived lack of scriptedness. Respondents found the actor in Option B to be more attractive and appealing, with a friendly demeanor that resonated well with them. On the other hand, Option A was criticized for its perceived cold and machinelike approach. Additionally, some respondents mentioned that the actor in Option A seemed less trustworthy or like a stereotypical used car dealer. These findings suggest that consumers value relatability and authenticity over physical appearance or muscularity when it comes to choosing an advertisement.

Across all options, three topics emerged as important factors influencing respondents' preferences: relatability/authenticity of the actor/person featured in the ad (mentioned by multiple respondents), overall quality of the video (including clarity and production value), and voice/tonality used by the actor/person delivering the message. These topics indicate that consumers are looking for advertisements that feel genuine and natural rather than overly scripted or promotional.

Based on these poll results, several hypotheses can be formulated for further testing. Firstly, it would be interesting to investigate whether different target audiences show similar preferences regarding relatability/authenticity versus physical appearance/muscularity in advertisements. Secondly, conducting research on how specific elements such as humor or conversational tone impact consumer perception could provide valuable insights into creating effective ads. Lastly, exploring how different video qualities affect viewers' engagement levels could help determine optimal production standards for social media video ads.

Overall, this survey highlights the importance of relatable actors/persons featured in ads who deliver messages naturally while maintaining high-quality visuals to capture consumers' attention effectively on social media platforms like Facebook.

The guy is more muscular.

A

I prefer option A. I like the actor in option A better than in option B. I find him to be more down to earth and relatable than the actor in option B,

A

Both videos are revolting and a complete turn-off due to the shirtless men. A is the better option because the delivery is more natural and straight-forward. B sounds like he is trying too hard and comes off as fake and rehearsed. I think no sane person would buy this due to the men. The opening joke also falls flat in both cases and even some good humor wouldn't save the visuals.

A

I find A to be the better short promoting this product. The model has a commanding voice and presence that projects confidence and credibility. I also find that everything is explained in a direct and easy to understand manner, which is crucial for short-form video advertising. Also, I think that this would work well in the Fitfluencer space, given the guy looks like a fitness model.

A

For me this one seems a little bit more authentic. So that is what allows me to want to use this one.

A

I just feel the message about the product was clearer and more precise in A. I think that the less talking and straight to the point helped as B seemed to try to hard.

A

Option A comes across as more professional and the delivery is fluid. Option B is a little odd because the creator's speech comes across as superficial and his pronunciation of "toxic" is weird. Both advertisements are odd in that I don't think most men would appreciate looking at other men when they're half naked. I know it's a product for men, but why does it seem like the advertisement is trying to win over women (or homosexual men)?

A

The guy in option A looks more fit than the other guy. I also thought the guy from option A seemed more natural in his delivery of the message compared to the other guy.

A

hes more manly and pleasant to listen to. he seems a bit more relatable because hes in a normal looking room and not some giant bathroom

A

I prefer option A because the man is more charismatic and charming. He is more attractive but that is the least important. The background also looks nicer and the video is overall more professional looking. The man in option B feels a bit annoying and his video is too long at 38 seconds. Most people nowadays loose attention with videos after about thirty seconds. It is hard to describe but the actor in option B just isn't very appealing, he comes off a bit smug.

A

I like the personality of the actor in option A better. He also comes across as less arrogant and has better things to say than B.

A

I feel the person in option A comes off being more genuine and sincere. The other person in the video came off a bit pretentious. His smile seems forced whereas option A looks very natural. The camera work is also a bit better.

This person has a much better conversational tone when talking.

B

this is more soft and relatable and real. the other seems cold and machinelike

B

B seems less fake and the person in it is more relatable for me. Response a comes off as cheesy and the man really looks like someone you cannot be trusted. Like a used car dealer.

B

i find the man in choice b more attractive. because he is the type of guy i would be into i am most interested in his product. i also enjoy all of the information the man in choice b gave me to hear about the product

B

#1 he's cuter/hotter. #2 He's got a great smile and plays a little dumb so it's like if he thinks this works it must work.

B

Generally I don't watch ads but the quality of B and angle of the person used is the best

B

I prefer option B because I think that it is a more interesting and appealing advertisement. I just think that it feels more natural and less scripted. Option A just sounds and feels like an infomercial. I also think that option A seems more like a paid actor whereas option B seems more like an authentic user of the product.

B

I like option B the best because the actor seems more friendly and looks more normal that the actor in the other video. The actor in the other video looks like the company is trying too hard to grab the attention of people due to their appearance. I think that if someone who was overweight or just didn't look good would be offended by looking at someone with a perfect body.

B

He seems more down to earth and “normal” as in I think people would identify more with him. The other user is too muscular, not what a regular person would look like.

B

The video quality is much better, it is not blurry and the guy uses humor which is appealing.

B

The voice is more pleasant and natural.

B

I feel like option B is much better, the video is not blurry looking. The guy in option B provides a more detailed, genuine, and personal message of using this product. He has a better explanation.

B

This model was very flexible, He wasn't acting like it was scripted. You can tell He had so much doing this video. If i was to buy Nimobo. Model B would have encouraged me to. This is a great innovation, I look forward to seeing this product in the market.

B

Option B is more natural since there is no cuts between takes. Everything is done in one take so it feels like it is more authentic.

B

I chose option B because the person/man in the video brings us closer and talks to us intimately as though it really is a secret. BO is not something that people like to broadcast so this approach suits the product much better. The man in Option B sounds much more natural, believable and approachable when speaking, which is a must when trying to sell these types of products. I also like that he included the fact that it keeps you fresh all day without the use of harmful and toxic chemicals. Lots of people, including myself, are looking for products like this. One thing that would have made option B's commercial even better would have been to include whether or not it would do the same for women.

B

The soft tone really made me feel like a friend of mine was talking to me. It didn't feel like I was getting sold on a product like I did with option A. This one felt more natural and kept my attention. The viewing angles also made the video more interesting.

B

I chose option B because of how the actor expresses his recommendation for NOMOBO. The actor starts off quiet and waves the viewer in, this makes the ad seem more personal. Next, the whisper and quiet tone fits the purpose of the talk, as body odor is not something that people would like others to know. The variation in the tone used by the actor makes the ad way more interesting and keeps me focused on the ad. The actor in Option A is more monotone and quite boring. Another reason that I like option B is that the setting fits the product. The actor is shirtless and in the bathroom and talking about underarm rinse. Everything here fits and doesn't seem strange. In option A, the actor's setting doesn't make much sense. Why would he use the rinse and be topless in a room. Finally, the quality of Option B is much better than the quality of Option A.
