Colorful writing, more likely to want to buy it.

A

I feel like the yellow adds too much distraction to the product, it's better with just the white and the small touch of green to set it off

A

I think it looks more professional without adding all of the yellow/gold coloring to it.

A

I think this label looks cleaner; I do not like the yellow font going up the side. I do like the brown and white combo.

A

I feel like the gold is a little too much and does not really mesh well with the other colors.

A

This is a cleaner look in my opinion.

A

I don't really like in B the colored text. Just keep it all one color.

A

Option A has a very clean and modern look. I think the minimal use of color honestly works. Really highlights the moisturizing ability of the product too.

A

Packing feels more luxurious

A

I like the label that blends in with the bottle better. I think it looks more natural and just looks better. The other have too much added color to it

A

The label of A has the same shade as the bottle which make the eye focus on the text. There are less colors to distract with the white font.

A

I really like the white font as it appears more refined and serene.

A

I don't care for the yellow on the packaging of B. I think A is a cleaner look.

A

I like A better as the simple color scheme is easier to read and get the information I want sooner.

A

Overall I like the simple design of option A the best I feel the white text fits in well with the main brown aesthetic to the product.

A

A feels more congruent and together from a design perspective. The addition of the yellow in B does not fit IMO.

A

I would choose option A, as I like the more monochrome look of the bottle as it seems more stylish to me. It almost reminds me of something you would see in a spa. The color makes me feel like it might smell like cocoa butter.

A

There seems to be too much going on with Option B even though it's essentially the same wording... The size of the font is throwing me off and is too much.

A

The font in B looks strange and difficult to read

A

I dont like the font on either of these bottles and they look sort of like they are from a hippy store, which means i probably wouldn't look twice at it because i have spent a lot of money on earth friendly/natural shampoos. I guess I would be looking for something different. I don't like the gold, and i do not like the enlarged words.

The yellow coloring makes it stand out more.

B

the green name looks better and stands out more

B

I like being able to see all the information much more easily.

B

I picked B because the yellow caught my eye and I like the look of B better.

B

I THINK OPTION A IS VERY DIFFICULT TO READ SO I WOULD CHOOSE OPTION A

B

I would rather purchase option B because it looks more colorful and vibrant. Option A does not look quite as inviting and promising to me overall.

B

The brighter yellow colors would stand out to me more since this bottle is so dark, the other one is likely to blend in too much and not catch my attention.

B

I think the added pop of color to Option B makes it more appealing, eye-catching, and premium seeming.

B

I prefer Option B because it is more colorful and more eye-catching, it really pops. It looks modern and cool.

B

Option B is the one that I would buy because the label is much easier to read and understand in terms of the ingredients and benefits

B

I like the yellow and gold colors used in this option, which are bright and cheerful. Looks like a really nice product for sure!

B

I would rather buy option B because I think that the label is more visually appealing and easier to read.

B

I like option B because the font is larger and easier to read. This makes me more likely to purchase it.

B

I can read it a lot better. The subtitle, too.

B

I picked this one because it's easier to see the word shampoo on the bottle. One of the biggest complaints I have about hair products in the shower is you have to put it right up to your face to see which one is which because the bottles look exactly alike for so many of them.

B

I like the image set in choice B just a bit more than the one in choice A. I like the larger font and gold logo on these bottles. Makes them pop and stand out a bit more.

B

This has more color on it, so I would get this one. It pops more.

B

I'd go for this product because it looks more interesting and persuasive to me.

B

i like the color design of option B the most I think that it overall looks better with added color

B

I like the font and color I feel it makes the bottle more professional looking.

B

I like option B the best because the text on the label stands out more and grabs my attention.

B

B SHOWS OFF THE INFORMATION BETTER AND MORE CLEARLY

B

I like the bolder font on B.

B

I like the design and color on the bottles better in option B. It is more eye catching.

B

I find option B more engaging and exciting

B

I chose B because I like the contrast of the yellow text and think it stands out more over A. I also think the larger text helps it stand out as well.

B

Choice B looks a better product based on the label design

B

The bolder font is clearer to read and easier to understand.

B

I would prefer option B because the packaging looks more attractive then the other one

B

The larger font and little splash of color help B stand out to me.

Respondents frequently highlighted its aesthetic appeal, emphasizing the luxurious and high-quality impression it conveys. The ability to stack packages was a notable practical advantage mentioned by participants.
  • Several respondents appreciated the monochrome color scheme of Option B, which they found less overwhelming compared to more colorful designs. This preference for simplicity suggests that minimalistic designs may resonate well with this group.
  • Additionally, environmental considerations played a role in favoring Option B; some participants noted its reduced plastic usage and recyclability as attractive features.

Key Topics Across Options

  1. Aesthetic Appeal: Across both options, aesthetics were crucial in influencing preferences. Participants often referred to colors and overall design quality when justifying their choices.

  2. Environmental Concerns: Both options had respondents who valued environmentally friendly aspects of packaging. However, while Option A was praised for being reusable and eco-friendly by some, others perceived Option B’s reduced plastic use as more sustainable.

  3. Practicality: Practical elements such as ease of stacking (Option B) or suitability for travel (Option B) were significant factors in decision-making processes.

Hypotheses for Further Testing
