Which book cover do you like better?
33 Responses to Option A
I like that in A that you can see part of the face
I find the more covered up suit look more appealing
I personally like A better. It leaves more to the imagination.
Choice A would be something that would be less embarrassing for a customer to buy in-store. It would definitely be my preference.
I like this book cover more because the body is still attractive but not over the top sexy. I think it's a little cheesy and trashy when someone has their shirt off or open in a picture.
I like that he is fully clothed in this image but still seems very sexy. He looks professional and capable which is very appealing without seeming raunchy and embarrassing to hold.
I like A better because it leaves a sense of mystery and intrigue.
The picture looks like he's more successful and also gives a part of his face.
I think that the photo with the man in the suit and open collar is actually sexier because it leaves more to the imagination than B does. There's also the fact that the man in A looks like he is about to start undressing due to his hand at the collar, and I like that it shows part of his jawline. It gives a better idea of who this man might be than B does somehow.
I chose A because it's obvious that the cover is meant to appear sexy to women, and that's the cover that I find sexier. I like that the model is well-dressed and I can see a little bit of his face. I don't really care to see the model's abs that are shown in B, and I can't see any part of his face at all in B.
Option A is more classy. Option B is cheesier and lower quality.
Weirdly, I think the one with more clothing would be a better seller, as it's more mysterious and intriguing.
I prefer A, it looks somewhat sexy, while not over the top, and seems a little more tasteful and interesting than B
i like the suit jacket and shirt
This book looks less sexy than the guy with the open collar. The A book looks as if the guy will be driven and motivated. The story looks to be one of success and striving. B just looks to be a bout sex.
A is more appealing & offers a sense of mystery & intrigue.
i dont need to see abs especially when i dont know what the book is about
Leave something to the imagination.
A is sexier than B. The fake muscles are just grotesque.
It has more mystery range than just showing off skin. Makes you wonder wha the sorry is rather than assuming it’s just a romance.
I think it looks more serious and can be taken more seriously. There's more to look at on this cover in terms of style, as in, the suit jacket, the shirt underneath, the bracelet, and the sunglasses. There's more clothing and accessories, which to me, is more visually appealing. Also, you can see more of the man's face in choice A. Choice B seems bland because all that is there to look at is a shirtless man, there's not much else to look at.
I chose A because the book cover makes you think the story will have some substance and a story line. B makes me think the novel is only about sex.
It seems more dramatic and not just like smut
This book cover leaves more to be wondered about
i thought the photo was more classy. i liked the apparel better in option a
I prefer Choice A because it is a better picture.
After carefully studying the images of both book covers for the book WHEN THE STARS ALIGN, I chose Option A as my preference because I felt it had more eye appeal. I am not really fond of the bare chest image in Option B.
It looks less cheesy!
Option A because I prefer to leave something to the imagination.
I think the suit on the man is more intriguing and less cliche of a romance novel than the other option. I like the mystery and potential ideas for backstory that automatically come to mind.
I think that choice A looks a lot more classy than choice B. In choice A, the man is fully clothed but still looks attractive and interesting. In choice B you can see way too much skin, which makes me think the book would be kind of trashy.
I chose Option A because it seems more refined and mysterious. The cover of Option B looks cheesy and cheaply sexual, in contrast option A seems suave and debonair. The suit seems far more appealing and it looks much more likeable in general.
I like this cover slightly more because you can see part of his face.

I am drawn to both covers a lot, but I liked Option B the most because I felt the man was more attainable.
B-B-B-B! Super sexy cover will be a big consumer draw!
I choose option B because it shows a more confident masculine image. Option A looks like the guy is nervous and insecure. Not a great look for the cover for a romance novel.
Girls will like the shirt unbuttoned more and it will catch their attention. They'll be more likely to pick the book up. It also adds a little color with the white shirt that the book needs to lighten it up.
I think this one just looks sexier like something I'd want to take a look at.
nice color contrast and font
I like option B because the white shirt looks nice on the dark background. It seems like a good fit for the book based on the title and tagline.
B is more appealing with his shirt open! The solid white shirt has a better overall look! B is the best!
I think that the chest draws my eye to this cover more. its more attractive
Because you get to see the man's six pack which is attractive.
I like the most revealing book cover the most. Showing just the little bit of skin catches your eye and entices you to want to read more. It definitely fits perfectly with the erotica theme.
Choice B is more sexually charged, that aligns with the sub titles a lot more than the other cover.
I like option B. I really like how the man's body looks in the photo. It really grabs my attention! From looking at it, I would want to flip over to the back cover of the book and read more on what the book is about.
the abs seem better for a romantic novel, to grab attention
I chose option B as the book cover that I like better because the male model on the front of the cover doesn't have his shirt buttoned up and it appears to be more appropriate for a romance novel.
This image is attractive and might grab people attention.
I chose A because the photo shown is more appealing to the targeted demographic of women. I feel like the photo on a shelf would make a female stop and take a look oppose to A they would just walk on by.
