Which kids book cover (targeting 2nd-4th graders) is the most appealing?
Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 29 votes after 5 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

i think the cover in option A is the most appealing for this type of book, because the text is easy to read and has pleasant colors
seems to be the most friendly and interesting one that makes me feel like i would have fun and enjoy the time
Option A: Liked the wooden banner, smaller Koala size makes it look happy and waving, pleasant greening yellow background looks welcomingOption B: Smaller Koala size makes it look like a young panda, happy and wavingOption F: Looks like a happy medium sized panda saying hi, but the logo is taking up way too much space making the cover look a bit crowdedOption C: Looks like a happy medium sized panda saying hi, but with a crowded book coverOption E: Big panda picture makes it look attacking and less friendlyOption D: Big panda pic with quotes makes it look fierce and attacking
I like A for its orange border with the bold red text of the word Panda- It pops! Then the wood/bamboo grain behind "The Nature Kids Guide" is interesting too. The Organge border of C is nice too, while the yellow of B is too much and doesn't really relate to the rest of the image.
I like the bamboo in front of the panda in A. It adds some depth to the cover image that makes it look cool
I like the bamboo look at the top where it says natures guide to kids. The orange color is good too.

These were all very close, but I think the juxtaposition of the large red circle against the yellow background in option B really made it stand out. Secondarily I liked almost all of the other choices fairly equally. I did not like option D though, as the brown sign really blended in with the background.
Option B was nice, I like that the circle clearly states "A level 2 reader for curious young kids". "Curious Young Kids" really stands out to me. I like the font of option C. I like that the panda bear is larger in E. The rest are okay, I just don't like them as much as my top three picks.
I love the panda, it reminds me of those zoo books I got as a kid
All of these covers are attractive to me and any differences in how much I like them are very subtle. I did pick B as my favorite because I prefer the yellow border to the orange one. I think I associate the yellow border with National Geographic publications and it indicates quality nature content. I also prefer the simpler font set in B -- it avoids italics and shadow lettering. D and E are my next favorite because the panda figures larger in the main graphic. The last three, I just don't care for fonts and lettering. The difference between my most and least favorite is not large, though, and any of these covers would attract me.
I prefer choice B for the brighter color.
Option B looks fun but also informative, it looks like a serious guide at a fun animal. At least, I feel I can trust this the most to be educational and attention grabbing. It seems to balance eye catching and scientific well.
I reallly do like the first two. Very good colors and very clear picture. Like how the yellow tends to frame it in the book. The other ones are ok but I really think that B and D are best choice.
The most appealing for me is B. I even asked my kids which on they liked and they choose this one too
They are all pretty cute mock-ups. I like the book idea a lot, but I chose B and A to be top two because the closeup versions of the pictures are a little scary. So I like the regular pics a little better with it a little farther away.
I like B because of the lighter colors and also the lighter background it makes the Panda stand out more
I really like the covers of B, D and A. They seem really fun and attractive, the fonts are nice and colorful and just seems like a very inviting book to read. I also like the other three, E, C and F. They don't seem quite as inviting and attractive, but overall have a fun and inviting look to them. I think the colors are vibrant in all of them, and it was difficult to choose how to order them. They all seem like something kids would like to pick up and take a look at.

I think the level 2 being green pops out more to the eyes and I really like the orange border. I like having the panda as large as possible as well. I would buy C.
As far as color choices and a few different changes these all pretty much look too similar to me to really say one looks better than another. But saying it's a level 2 reader and marketing it to kids as old as 4th grade seems like a big mistake I know a lot of 4th graders that would be like this is for babies.
I picked option C first because I like the color and font combination the best. It stuck out to be the most. As for the rest of the, I picked which covers I felt stoof out the best from my favorite to my least favorite.
This seems like the colorisbrighter and different and I like it better. I think the kids will lookat this one first
The colors and clearness of the text in C are appealing to the eye. Some of the others are good as well but option B isn’t very good.

The panda photo should be the focus of the cover. The wooden sign is less obtrusive and distracting than the badges.
There is a lightness in the colors in the image behind the panda in option D that makes the book seem very child friendly. I think it is a book that the child would remember for a long time because of this. For these reasons, option D is my favorite.
All the covers are appealing, changing the fonts doesn't make a very big difference - changing the panda image would probably change a lot.
These are all nice covers for fourth graders but I think the trick here is to emphasize the cute panda bear that's on the cover and not include a border or a lot of bulky text and I think kids like to see those visuals especially the animal so minimize everything else and keep the focus on that panda bear picture
My top choices have the panda front and center which is very appealing to kids. My bottom choices have the larger book border and the panda more in the background.
I like option D the best because I like that there is a lot of green behind the panda and that the "The Nature's Kid's Guide To" text is colored green. I think that the green colors are soothing and makes the panda image really stand out.
They are all attractive. I like that D and F frame it nicely with bamboo and use the word "curious," which might appeal to readers.
I think the natural background in the back really helped me to pick this one, and the color also really drew my attention.
I love the color and the font of D. I like yellow background and that the panda isn't so close up. I like the orange and especially the stamp that looks like a sun that means better quality usually. Some books have this symbol... I like the light orange with symbol. A is ok but I don't like the background and random bamboo or whatever it is . C is boring . It has leaf in face of panada. I don't like the coloring nor do I like just the plain circle in left corner area.
The embellishments make this one super cute. I also find the text to be the most aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.

option E looks less scary and a little more appealing, I think the panda could have been a lot better but its still nice
The differences are small, but I preferred the options where there was a zoom on the Panda's face. I felt this would be more appealing to a child who would think the Panda is cute. I also considered the title font. I think brighter colors generally work better. Additionally, I was cognizant of how the panda interfered with the lettering. For example, I felt Option C had the Panda covering too much of the title words. My daughter is a new reader and I strongly believe this would confuse her.
Option E has the best kids book cover because the images, and the circle in orange explaining that this is for kids. It looks good and convenient.
Ranking according to how appealing and interesting each of the covers appear and impress, the most appealing here is the one in Option E.
Love the live natural background looks really green and nice. The panda image and smile is appealing in all the covers.
I like the bigger panda image and the larger level 2 badge for the design elements. The larger panda is cuter and the larger badge with the level makes it easier to determine how reader friendly it is to younger kids. B, A, F is the the bottom three with the smaller panda image. F is worst because it is hardest to see the level info. B and A are pretty equivalent to me. I like the color scheme with the yellow in BE, D, C has the larger panda image so those are the top 3. E is the best because the solid orange font and the badge makes it easier to see and read. D and C with the white font with outline stands out less
E - The panda is big and prominent. I like the contrast of the colors. Right away, I can see "Young Kids". B - I like that "Curious Young Kids" is at the forefront. If the panda was more prominent like in E, it might be my first pick. D is almost perfect, but the sign is hard to read with the black on brown wood. If you took the label of B or E and put it on D, it would be a strong contender.
i think the yellow is very eye catching. it gives of NG vibes. these images are very fun, but i think choice e and f are the most attractive out of these. my kids like them.

The panda is so cute. I like how the bamboo is lined up in the background. I think a child would like to see the bamboo like that.
My rankings were based purely on my preferences of the aesthetics of each book cover.
I like option F the best. I like the way the font for pandas is highlighted accenting it. the cover is very attractive
I feel smaller panda head looks cuter and less intimidating, and F has the best color and badge shape. then A. then C, even though C is slightly bigger head than B, but the color is better. then D, the darker background is better than E
The bright colors in F & B really stand out and get my attention. The contrast in F is better than in B. The yellow in E is good, but it does not stand out as much as the first two. The colors aren't as vibrant in A & D. The text in the small circle in A is difficult to read and doesn't add much to the cover. The orange border is not a visually appealing as the others, this cover looks more like a book for a small child rather than an 2nd-4th grader.
I like the font on option F the most combined with the deep green of the bamboo.
The reading level is clearly visible. You can glance and see it. The coloring contrast in the title makes it pop. The graphics are crisp and lines are clear. The darker green in the background make the titles stand out more.
All of the options are very close and they are all great options but F stood out to me the most because of the fonts and the background which look very lively and interesting. Option A was next because it also stood out to me. I like the way the text looks.
I feel that F has the best design to the cover that flows really well and makes the panda stand out compared to the rest.
I like F the most as I like the way the colors are used the best and I like the Panda font and coloring the best. I then chose B as it also looks really nice with the majority being yellow. I then picked C as I like the font on the cover. I picked E, A and D last because I don't care for the fonts as much and the positioning of everything on the cover.
