i would rather buy the book in option A based on the description because I like intertwining of romance and history

I feel that it gives me an overview of the book but without revealing everything. I like to have a small sampling myself. I feel that the other sample is over wordy.

I don't like it when description compare the new work to a famous older work because they never measure up. I felt like option B was too long and the review at the bottom is not needed since many people have very different opinions on books.

I like the narrative format of A. There feels like an arc to the story and it makes me want to learn more.

I chose A because it s concise yet informative. I am very interested.

I voted for A because it was just the right length to give the reader insight into the storyline and the characters and it shows that the book has the traditional regency elements.

I like the shorter wording, and I do not like the reference to Jane Austen. The book should be chosen based on its content, not an author that is similar.

The other choice has far too many details. I want to read the book, not know the entire thing from the preview. It sounds like a great book.

This summary is like many other summaries for romance novel. It doesn’t give much away, revises the basic details of the book but still draws you in, option B tells the whole novel basically

This one is the one I prefer because I love the fact that it tells it us about the story in a way that makes me feel engaged. I love that it has action verbs that gets me engaged and drawn into the story. Along with that, I feel like it's more to the point as well and doesn't give out too many details that ruin the story.

The line about the spirited girl and the handsome irishman really caught my attention immediately.

I thought both were decently written however I prefer option A a bit more as it is to the point whereas option B is really drawn out and a bit wordy for a description.

Omg, both are way too long. You are going to lose customers. This was the shorter of the two.

I like this story much more. A handsome lieutenant and a young woman.

I love the plot of both, but the old fashioned language of B is a bit off putting. The story sounds very romantic. I would read this book.

I voted for A because B starts with A Regency romance novel in the tradition of Jane Austen, if you don't like Jane Austen then you would never pick up the book

I click on A reluctantly. It starts our weak. I think you should replace the beginning with the first three paragraphs of B, keeping the last line of paragraph two in A. B starts stronger, but quickly grows weak. You can keep the review as well, though you want to cite it to prove its real.

A is a tighter summary, it gives a good idea about what the book is about without going into too many details. B is too wordy, it gives so much information that I don't feel like I need to read the book, I already know the story. And it uses the word "whilst", I don't like that word.

B gives away too much of the storyline. A is more intriguing, because it makes me wonder what will happen with the romance between the two characters. B kind of spoils the whole story with too many details.

B is too verbose - I like the simplicity of the synopsis in A. It's clever, witty and engaging without giving the reader too much to consume at first glance.

I would be interested in this book. B reminded me of a movie trailer that showed too much of the movie. The description was too detailed and made me less interested in the book.

Choice A has a standard profile for the story that gives just enough background on both main characters that there is a lot of room to dream about the story. Choice B is just a synopsis of the majority of the book. Not a lot left to the imagination really.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to read either. Neither description sounded like something I would enjoy reading. However, if I had to pick, I would choose A. It was shorter and to the point. It left more to the reader's imagination, therefore getting you a bit more intrigued and interest. Option B was long and it described too much of the story.

I chose option A. If I'm just browsing for a new book to read, I don't want to read a long description. A's description is short and has just enough information to decided if one wants to read it. B has too much extra information for a plot description/summary.

I would rather read option B because it gives me a good description of the book and I can really tell that I will like it. I don't really like the way option A describes it, it doesn't make it sound as interesting.

I'm a big fan of Jane Austen and loved that this was part of the lead-in for this option since that helped catch my attention right away.

The book description that I would rather buy is option B because it is more realistic to the problems of today especially a life style involved balancing in between romance and family wishes. Option B is much more explanatory in its story description.

Option B has a longer and more detailed description of the novel. That would make me more likely to buy.

Option B has a much longer and description to learn about what I am going to be reading which helps to get me more hyped up about reading the much longer product. It also has a nice descriptive five star review that helps my decision to read more of the story.

I like B better if you get rid of the rating at the bottom of the review, and also the "then, the lieutenant" part because then it seems like you're getting into book review territory and it's not needed.

I love Jane Austen and seeing that as the first line in the description caught my interest right away.

I like that B tells you at the start what the genre is. It gives a good synopsis of the story and makes it sound interesting. It's also nice that a review is included at the bottom.

After reading both of the descriptions of each book, I decided to go with option b. I really enjoyed the longer description and it really told me a lot about the text and what to expect from the book itself. I found the writing to be extremely professional-sounding and also informative. I also enjoyed the little review at the very bottom and this really helped me to make up my mind. With option A, it was a very nice description and I also found it to be informative, but when you compare the two, I found that option b sounded much better and it told me exactly what I needed to know about the book itself.

To be honest, it had more typos and needed more of an editor, but the other option felt a little too try-hard. Neither of the descriptions made me believe it would actually fit the time period without cringe, but option B at least didn't make me think about how the Lieutenant was probably going to have all his lines written in phonetically written Irish brogue.

I think including 5 stars that we can visually see makes the choice B jump out at me more
