Which book title for a medical/legal thriller would you rather read and why?
34 Responses to Option A
It's a lot more abstract and triggers more imaginative thoughts.
This title sounds stronger and more intriguing, it makes me wonder what the rest of the story is more than the other title.
I like A because it's to the point and gets my attention right away. B doesn't sound very interesting to me.
I like the shorter titles that grab you. Choice B sounds more like a drama than a medical/legal thriller.
It is simple, straight forward, and powerful
I think a single word title catches your eye the best and is the most intriguing. The other title kind of rolls on and on until you're no longer interested.
I think this simple title is more intriguing and would make we want to find out more. The title for B seems a little juvenile for an adult's book.
My choice is simple, memorable and to the point. The other one is too long for a title and too vague.
it is has a mysterious feel and interests me.
B is way too long and too many words and not interesting. A grabs my attention immediately.
It is a simple title with a clear intention. I think it sounds interesting and I would pick it up just to see what it was about
I think that the title "Unethical" is memorable and intriguing. This title gives the reader an immediate feeling of anxiety that ties into the medical/legal thriller genre.
I chose option A. It's intriguing and leaves a lot to the imagination. I like that it has as lot of mystery behind it. I'd read the jacket or the synopsis just to what it's about.
Option A stands out much more. Longer titles tend to get stuck in the rabble but this proved interesting. It's also more memorable.
It's simpler and gives a foreboding feeling about the despair the characters will face.
I like Unethical much better than Josephine's Father & The Institute. Josephine's Father and the Institute sounds like an 18th century book about a father who puts his daughter in an institute for being pregnant. Unethical sounds like it could be contemporary and would be about something unethical that occured.
B doesn't feel intriguing or appealing. A especially with the upper case captures my attention
Option A is less confusing than the title for option B, and it gives a much better description of what the book is about so this is my choice.
I like option A better between the two. The title is simple, but captures my attention. It gives off the impression that there is going to be moral controversy involved which could be interesting and exciting to watch.
I chose A because the word Unethical has a mystery air around it. Due to the wonder if what this book is about, I am rather attracted to it more than the second book which is called Josephine's Father and the Institute. It doesn't really seem to have anything to do with a medical/legal realm.
I really like option A. I like it because the word "unethical" screams thriller. There has to be some kind of scandal that keeps you on edge for it to be a thriller. What better than something that is unethical that has to do with the medical field.
Unethical sounds scandalous. Something scandalous is mysterious and everyone loves a scandal to find out who did what. The other title is completely boring in comparison. The title Unethical makes me want to open it up and find out what gossip is inside.
This title would be more suspenseful, enticing and intriguing for a medical/legal thriller.
Unethical:It defines not morally correct ,lacking moral principles; unwilling to adhere to proper rules of conduct. Though nowhere it represent about medical but it relates to legal point of view.
the one word title makes you have to see more
I've had just enough of old white patriarch figures, I do not want to read more about them
The capital letters would catch my eye and it leaves me clueless on what the book is about.
I think the name "UNETHICAL" is more eye-catching because it is in all caps.
This title seems very straightforward and to the point. I want to know more about the unethical practices that have been going on
Just on the title alone, this really has me wanting to pick up this book and find out more about it.
It really grabs me, makes me think it's thrilling. The other one is so passive.
prefer A sounds more intriguing gets my attention
This title is more scandalous. It makes me think of something that is super taboo and uncommon that woiuld be exciting. The other is quite cliche looking
I love the sound of unethical. It has this intriguing sound to it that just draws you in. it would make me want to pick up the book just to find out about it. Also the name has a ring to it that makes you think andponder about it.

This has more pizazz and catches my interest
It's more mysterious yet also less vague as unethical could mean any number of situations. I also don't like that the other book title is in all caps.
This one sounds like there is more of a mystery of it.
The more specific title makes me wonder about the characters and how they are involved, and "The Institute" naturally sounds very sinister. I also find it interesting that the title focuses not just on a name, but somebody's father, which makes me curious as to who the main character will be.
This feel slime its more of a story and less of a text book that's going to be dry
I guess I just don't really see what the other one is going for. At least I get a little bit of description in that title
unethical could be about anything, the president, congress, fisheries, but father and institute give me a couple of things to imagine and is more intriguing
The other title is too simple, I don't like that it's all in caps and having a name in this title makes me want to learn more about the character and what type of institute it mentions.
I think that option B sounds more like a mystery book to me.! So I would go with that one
I feel as if choice B tells me way more about the book than choice A does. Choice A is just a generic word.
I liked choice B because the title is a bit lengthy but grabs my interest right away. Choice A feels too short and doesn't grab my interest since it sounds like a fake news headline. Choice A isn't as appealing as choice B since choice B gives me some context of the book.
I prefer Josephine's Father & The Institute as a name for book. The Name make interest to buy the book and read.
I think option B leaves more to the imagination and grabs your attention. It makes you want to know who is Josephine's Father and what is The Institute? Option A leaves no sense of wonder or thrill. It doesn't seem exciting nor does it give me a desire to want to pick up the book.
Choice B is my pick because the title and unique and says more about the book to me. It makes me wonder what The Institute is. Who is Josephine? Why is her father so important and what does he have to do with The Institute. How will she end up tying into all of this? It makes me wonder and ask questions regarding the book. In contrast Choice A's title is so generic and could really be about anything. It says nothing to me about that book or shows that it really has character to it.
B is much more unique and paints a picture. A is way too vague and inflammatory.
The title is more descriptive gives a title that makes you think of fiction. the other title is too broad and i dont know what the book would be about
