Which book title is more appealing?
31 Responses to Option A
I think when it's shorter it's easier to catch someone's attention
Option A is simple, shorter, more to the point. It gives direction to both life in general and work life. It seems to me that it may provide some kind of blueprint to balance life/work issues.
It was simple but to the point. Not too much if you know what I mean and is more likely that I read it over the other option
I think most people will be turned on by a shorter subtitle
A is more to the point
I like the "choices" better.
It’s shorter and straight to the point
I think the shorter title would be more likely to catch someone's eye or attention. Through marketing I've learned that oftentimes the shorter the text, the more likely it is that someone will actually read it be it a title, meme, or sales ad.
Give more info, letting me know it's about life and work
The other choice had too many words and it wouldn't look good on a book cover.
I like Option A because the title is simpler and more concise. I think that Option B's title is a little too long and could be condensed.
Hoenstly, A is just shorter and more consise
This version of the title seems slightly more concise and easier to understand due to the language used.
I would be more likely to pick this one up and read it. The title in option B is a little too long.
I like the simpler title the best. It is to the point.
The extraneous text in choice "B" is kinda redundant -- if you think effectively and make smart choices, better results are a given.
IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO BETTER CHOICES IN LIFE AND I THINK PEOPLE CAN RELATE BETTER TO THAT TITLE THAN CHOICE B. IT IS A MUCH CLEANER AND EFFECTIVE TITLE IN MY OPINION.
I CHOSE A BECAUSE IT IS MORE SIMPLISTIC AND NOT SO INVOLVING AND DRAWN OUT. IT CUTS RIGHT TO THE CHASE AND SOUNDS MORE EFFECTIVE NOT TO MENTION INTERESTING.
I like option A with "better choices in life and work" as that is more powerful and makes you think about how to control both of those aspects of your life more. Very meaningful and worthwhile title for the reader. That packs more of a punch in invoking your thoughts on your life.
Option A because it's shorter. I don't like long drawn out titles.
there are both fine, but A is worded a little simpler and easier to comprehend
A for sure, it gives the description of the title without dragging on and losing a persons interest from being to long, In a store setting I would pick up this book for sure, as for B the title is way to long and I would be drawn away from having to read the whole title while browising for books, it seems more like a flyer than a book title.
Life and work tends to sum it up. Short, easy to read, no fluff
shorter and to the point
Less is more is better in this case. The other takes too long to read.
A is easy to read and the words flow so the meaning hits my brain and I understand it. I don't have to stop and think what the heck is is talking about.
Simpler is better. The other title is too long and I'd probably glance past it on a bookshelf.
The title is a bit simpler, which I prefer. Don't make it too complicated and confusing!
B is too convoluted and hard to decipher
I like A because it's simpler and that gets my attention first. I like how it says better choices.
simpler, more natural sounding

Even though it's a little long I think this title sounds better and is much more interesting.
I liked B because it seems clearer to me. I'm a deep thinker and tend to gravitate towards books that require more of that, rather than just "making better choices" as in A. That just seems too simple to me.
Choice B explains how you get better results. Choice B seems like it has a lot more to offer.
Option B makes the title sounds more thorough. It sounds educated, knowledgable and full of insight. This is the title that I would choose because it sounds as if there is a lot to learn from reading this book
Better, more imaginitve title.
Ending strong with the word Results is the best choice
It was more descriptive, so it seemed like it would cover more topics. Choice A was too vague so I wasn't sure what life and work choices it was about.
Option B's title was more descriptive, which sets a better expectation on what to expect.
Effective thinking is a very good way to describe a good way to think.
I think the wording in B captures a more positive and informative tone.
I think it sounded well composed an flowed in a nicer manner compared to option A
Its more specific and in depth
I chose option "B" because the description of the title is more relatable, and catches my attention better. It is more descriptive and appealing with better choice of words. It gives me the feeling that I may benefit and learn better ways to think clear, and have better results with my actions.
I chose B because it outlines more in detail of what you can expect to get out of the book.
I like how direct it is, the other title is too boring and too vague.
This title "speaks" to me because it mentions "better results". I'm okay with making choices, but some choices I make tend to lead to not great results, so I would probably choose this book to read
I chose option B. IN option A, i just saw blueprint and thought to myself, "why do I need blueprints?". Option B explained that it was about making better choices in life and how to achieve better results in life, a little more descriptive than option A.
I think this subtitle gives a more specific idea what the book is about. The other one is just too general.
