Would you pay for this online tool?
50 Responses
I would not pay for this. I would charge people for this and do it myself.
If I gave enough presentations yes, it seems you should be selling to the audience as well
I Accept this
This sounds like a good feature, to be honest. Synchronized audio would enhance the powerpoint presentations. As it stands, one of the more awkward issues with power point is that it lags behind your presentation or you get ahead or behind on the slides while speaking.
Yes, if it saves me time and extra work I'd most likely buy it.
I would not pay for it as the pp presenter, but I very much would pay for it as the observer. It's much more useful for the observer.
I would probably pay for it if it wasn't very expensive.
I do not think that this would be a helpful device. It seems redundant when this type of action could be done in many different ways at zero cost to the speaker and user.
As a speaker I would pay for tool like this depending on the situation. If it was a technical presentation or a presentation that people would need to rely on the information having this feature would allow them to understand the topic better.
I would pay $10 a minute for this. This would be highly useful, but couldn't afford or want to pay more than that for this service.
yes, this would be incredibly helpful for presentations, I think it would greatly help the focus, and understanding of everyone involved.
seems like its not worth the effort better to do it old fashioned
There are several problems with this. Your idea of a meaningful slide may be what is important to other people. Second, most people use the most basic of slides with very little information and usually take their own notes or follow up with the presenter afterwards. I could never see anyone paying for this service, especially a business who flips out about licenses and costs. I can't even get a day off to go to a training event paid by them.
I may be missing something ,but if you are watching something , why not just record and play it back? I do not see the need for this device
I would certainly pay for this tool. It would save me so much time and have a huge impact on being able to get the word out to more people. It is user friendly and the cost is so reasonable. It's a must have for people who like simplicity in their hectic life
Yes, because there doesn't seem to be another way to do this at the present.
No, usually the written copy and the supporting research that is uploaded tends to be more thorough then just a presentation at a conference.
No, people can take their own notes
It would depend. I would pay to allow this for presentations if I am give webinars, teach a class or something. I think it would be useful to get information out to more people if it is something that I was looking to make money with or use to support my business, For a free informational session though I would probably not want to pay. I would have to see what the return on the price for the product would be before I made my final decision.
This is a somewhat novel idea, but doesn't suit me as this type of conference is quite infrequent for me overall.
I think it is good idea but it sounds too complicated for the average person to do on their own. I think for a professional it would be worth it but for just the average person with limited knowledge of presentations I think that they would be better with just side notes or a quick power point.
Yes, I think it is a worthwhile idea. It distills the important slides down and allows for efficient viewing the second time
As a presenter I might consider using this however personally I absorb information and learn easier visually than through audio so I am not sure how useful this would be to me but I would want to learn more to be sure.
I think that is great idea. It gives you a nice control of the presentation
Yes I would pay for the tool because it seems like it would make my life a little easier
I currently do my own presentations and don't find it very difficult so for me I don't see the point, but I guess people with social issues would need it but I wouldn't charge more than $25pm
While I do feel that having a few slides with your voice would be nice, ultimately I feel the presenter will want to use their own voice through a presentation and add their own spin on the slides to for the audience they are presenting to.
I would if there was an absolute need for it but to be honest I think it can be done without needing to pay for a service. I guess if I didn't want to bother with editing, then yes I'd probably be willing to pay for the service.
This sounds like a very small market - not a lot of people are clamoring for this type of program. However, I would charge between $9.99 and $19.99 for this service depending on the amount of slides chosen.
This seems like a great feature and service which would be quite useful
I would definitely be interested in this service since it sounds helpful to those listening to my presentation. It saves me the legwork of doing this task myself and makes it more enticing for my audience.
i think its a great idea because i gives the speaker one less thing to worry about
I guess that sounds like a good idea. Doesn't sound like there is a big market for this app.
I'm not sure that I would pay that much for it because in going through it I'm not sure how useful it would be. I've taken many classes with slideshow lectures in the dozens and all you have to do is start the powerpoint presentation on find which slide you want. The audio is already there I'm not sure that you need a separate tool to separate it. for example, If I had a 150 slide document and I pressed control F to find a slide that dealt with a particular topic in slide 73, then i iust jump to slide 73 and the audio for it is already there. Or at least very clowe.
Yes, I think there would be value to a tool like this. THe audio can be segmented along with the slide that slides that were being presented when the audio occurred. I think this is a valuable tool and would be in my arsenal.
ABSOLUTELY! Anything to make things easier, I think this is a great idea. I like that it automatically syncs up with each slide.
It's something that I would not be interested in. Seems likr many product with this alreasy
The description is quite confusing, I'm uncertain if this is a service I would want or use.
I would if I had the need for it that was great enough. Seems it would be a great tool for those that have that need and the price is at a good range for such a tool.
Yes, I feel it would be beneficial to both myself and the people listening/watching the presentation. It would also save time for those wanting to listen and focus only on certain slides.
It would depend on the subject matter and complexity. I think it's a really cool idea, but I'd have to assess it on a meeting to meeting basis. Sometimes it would be worth it, other times it wouldn't
This would be really nice to have in order to make educational presentations easier to understand. However, I'm not sure if I would want to pay that much for just one function. This seems like something that would be part of a software package, not a standalone program.
I would not pay for this service. Usually the uploaded slide deck is enough for me. I don't think I have every wanted to hear the audio that goes with the slide. If I am interested enough, I will take notes and paraphrase what the presenter has said.
No, because I produce papers as part of conference presentations and circulate those, so no need to pay for a tool that lets me distribute presentations
I would love to say say I would pay for such a service but $40 pm is a little steep. I think I would if maybe it was a free trail going on.
It sounds like a decent idea, but would need to be reasonably priced. $40 seems high to me as it would only really be beneficial for very long presentations. Shorter presentations are easy enough to skip through yourself.
No. I don't look at slides often enough to be worth a purchase
Yes - I would pay for this because it would allow me to leverage the presentation easily for only a nominal fee which is a bargain when you think about the importance of the presentation and the amount of work put into it.
I like the idea, but I don't know if I would pay for it. My cheap-self would just scroll to the parts I need to listen to.
Honestly to me this sounds a bit too vague and also potentially like too much of a niche market to be of interest to the general public.
