A new revolutionary walkie-talkie, allowing the coach to give advice to the swimmer. Usually, the swimmer does not hear the coach because his head is under water. Now, putting our receiver under the cap, he will be able to hear the voice of the coach!
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
C | 40% 20 votes | 52% 26 votes +6 |
A | 40% 20 votes | 48% 24 votes +4 |
B | 20% 10 votes | Eliminated 10 votes reassigned |

Swonar, while it looks odd, has a great sound when you say it out loud. That is really important! The other 2 options are awkward to pronounce. And if you want to give someone a recommendation or suggestion, you have to be able to pronounce it!
I really didn't like any of the names but since I had to pick one I thought Swonar was the least awkward name.
Nice spin on water related words. I like the amphibian reference.
i really like choice A swonar because it has to do with audio waves and swimming combined. i think the name is catchy and it roles off the tongue just right.
Fitting names but I feel A and B are best with a mix of the words swimming/sonar and aqua/voice.
I like option A the best because it actually sounds like a real word and is memorable. Also gives off the impression that is it capable of so much more. Then I picked C as an option, as it Ampiber sounds interesting, but not interesting enough to pertain to swimming. And I picked B last because the word seemed more like a cleaner then something pertaining to swimming.
I think this is a really great idea. I like option A the best. I think it was clever to combine swimming and sonar.
I LIKE IT VERY MUCH
I like the name Swonar since it sounds like Sonar and gives the idea of tracking the swimmer. Next, I like the name Amphiber since it sounds like it could go underwater (Amphibian) with the swimmer. I wasn't keen on the name Aqwox because it's too hard to pronounce so that's why it's last.
Swonar is clever, combining swim and sonar - it resonates. Ampiber is too complex to be memorable.
honestly, all of them look like typos. the first one at least sounds like a real word, and and is close to a real word. the second one just sounds interesting, and the last one is really annoying. so many ending alphabet letters. it just looks wrong.
Swonar is a nice name to remember and fits with this new concept. I think you could gain a lot of customers if you keep this name.
I chose A first because it sounds like sonar and that sounds like good water. Then icl chose C because it sounds like amphibian which are underwater and land animals. I didn't like B because at first I couldn't pronounce it.
I like Swonar because that's clearly swimming plus sonar!!!
I think Swonar is a good name because it sounds catchy, and is also a nice play on 'sonar', which is fitting. Choice C has a lot of those same qualities as well, but I think it's a bit awkward to pronounce. I don't like B at all. Sounds like "Aflac" (the company) and doesn't have a good word aesthetic, if that makes sense.
I selected Option A because (quite frankly) it's the best of three options that I didn't care for at all. None of them are attractive names, and if I just saw the word I'd have no idea what it was about. At least with A ("Swonar") I can detect a bit of "swim" and a touch of "sonar" - but still I am not fond of the cumbersome name. My apologies.
Swonar is a great name. It is very tech and very now. I can see it as the name for this product.
some words sounded cooler than others. swonar sounds like some superhero trait
A is a clever elision of swim and sonar, so that is good. B sounds pool related, C is awkward
I like that "swonar" combines "sonar" and "swim" and I think it best describes the product. "Amphiber" reminds me of "amplifier" and "amphibious" combined, and sounds more like something the military would use than a swim team. I don't like Aqwox at all. It just doesn't seem to describe anything about the product.

I chose B first because it sounded the least cheesiest.
I like the way Option B sounds. It's fun to say. It looks awkward at first glance but the sound is great. Aqwox is my first choice. Option C is also fun to say but it reminds me of fibbing. Amphiber, fibbing. Might be a stretch but it did pop into my head. My third choice is A, Swonar. It's not as catchy and fun to say as the others. While it looks a little strange, a nice font might fix that issue.
B - I think it makes it sound cool and hi-tech. / C- You know that it's audio related and it's catchy. / A - Way too cliche, sounds like its for kids.
I chose in the order that the names seemed relatable to the products purpose
3 blows. The rest are original and good
All of the names were odd in my opinion.
Aqwox makes me think of aqua & vox (voice) & is a smart, tech elite, modern sounding device. Amphiber is just okay. It does make me think of a frog, which is kind of corny. Swonar sounds like a serious medical condition, albeit I understand it is just swim and sonar mixed together, still sounds a bit cheesy & not professional.
Not sure if this is real or not.
I prefer shorter and easier to say
These are all terrible names. But I put B first because it starts with Aq..meaning aqua.. water. This product would be used in water. The other 2 don't make sense.

I like option C the best because it sounds like a pun and does not have a harsh sound. Option A is nice because it feels like sonar and makes sense with the idea. Option B is ok but feels like a jumble of letters.
its the only word i feel isn't completely made up
I liked option C the most because it sounded technical, which is my preference for product names. Option B was decent but sounded somewhat awkward when you say it aloud. Option C was my last pick because it sounded the most awkward when you say it aloud.
I don't love any of these names but C is the best from these options. I use to swim competitively and think this would be a useful device if it's comfortable, safe and the volume can be adjusted.
The name of the choices were a bit hard to understand, especially option B. Option C is the best sounding one in my opinion.
I rated the choices according to how easily they caught my attention.
Amphiber sounds like the best name to give to the walkie talkie described in the statement above. Amphiber has th same kind of suffix as amphibians so for me I believe that is the best option for the name. Amphibians are land and water species which is basically what we are.
I like C the best because I think the name makes you think of water and that fits with what the product is. It makes me think of amphibian. I like B somewhat but it seems hard to pronounce and A I really don't like at all, it just seems odd.
Personally, I think they are all awful names.
I think the initial requires no explanation and will be shared sense
Amphiber in option C seems the best and easiest to pronounce and memorize. Swonar sounds a bit awkward as does Aqwox. Think they would be harder to remember while Amphiber sounds sophisticated and modern.
I actually don't like any of the name options. C at least seems like a word and gets the "amphibious" part in there to imply that it can be used in or out of water, while B seems like a pile of high-scoring scrabble letters, and A is both hard to say and sounds like a mispronunciation instead of a word.
Option C is my first choice because the name Amphiber sounds good. I think it's a word that is related to amphibians meaning marine life. Option B has a name called Aqwox that has a word meaning aqua which is water. Option A is called Swonar which I think is a play on words for swimming and sonar. I like Option C better because Amphiber sounds exciting and modern to me.
They're all bad names.
I think that C fits the bill best, then A, then B - although B I wouldn't use at all.
I really don't like any of them. They aren't natural sounding. I see what you are going after, but these don't quite get it.
It draws to mind the word "amphibious" which sounds cool
"Swonar" seems a good name when spoken or heard, but not written. Aqwox just seems strange.
This one is the best sounding
I like the name "Amphiber" because it sounds like amphibian. Amphibians need water to breathe, and the swimmer is underwater. I think the "water" is a great connection. Aqwox sounds like Aqua mixed with works. Swonar is a mix of some word, and radar.
