Based on the name, which product would you rather buy?
35 Responses to Option A
I don't really see essentials as a gift.
Sounds like something I would buy to use not give to someone as a gift.
A sounds more like it's a process and not just a gift.
I think the word gift implies that I would be giving it away, starter set implies I would be keeping it.
Starter says this is everything I need to get going. Gift Set does not provide the same feel and the same sense.
I chose A because if these are truly "Daily Essentials" then it is something that you would want to buy on a regular basis.
B sounds like it's meant only to be a gift, while A sounds like I could use it. I also like the word started as it makes me think it has all the basics I would need.
A seems like it is more all encompassing and applicable to everyone. A gift set seems limited, for specific purposes, and have small sample sizes
I think starter set is something for me. Gift set is something I would give and need to be in a better package.
I do not know what Daily Essentials is. Is it vitamins or skin care? But I would like it to say starter set vs gift set
I think starter set means I might be expanding and there's other things I might want to try.
I would rather buy the Starter Set because it sounds more useful and economic. A gift set makes me think it's overpriced because it's being sold as a gift set.
Starter set makes it seem like I'm setting out on a new journey and making a permanent change for the better.
I like the sound of starter set. Sounds like something to build off of.
This sounds like this is for me personally.
This sounds like a good place to start as I readjust my skincare or other areas of health. Daily Essentials doesn't sound "gifty" to me.
Starter set was applicable to me, because i don't have a daily beauty regiment so it is reassuring to know that i am just buying a starter set and not something that I won't be able to use right away.
Starter Set makes it sound more like it is for me. Gift set is something I would buy for someone else.
Option A has a better sound and tone to it that grabs your attention more right off the bat. It has a more interesting sound to it that makes you want to know more about what it has to offer. It also is more unique and doesn't sound like something you have heard a hundred times before. It makes you think it has something new and different to offer and would be a better way to go. Option A would appeal to a wider audience of people and would make them more likely to check deeper into what it has to offer.
The first option seems to more generally apply and is not meant for just gifts. A starter set also feels friendly towards beginners or people unfamiliar with the items.
I chose Option A as more appropriate for me, as I have no use for a "Gift Set" but I do for a "Starter Set."
I think this would apply to more folks and more situations than a gift. The gift seems to limit it to me.
This is a though one. I would buy the starter set if it was for personal use, but I would buy the gift set if it was going to be a gift. From a personal pov, the starter set sounds like a great way to get introduces to the product.
I feel like the term "starter" is more likely to get someone excited. As in you have everything you need to start something new. You can envision a lot of sample items. Gift is a little more vague and you may not be sure what you are getting.
I like the wording starter set better than gift set. Often when I think of gift sets I think of small quantities of a product bundled together.
A starter set sounds like it has more products than a gift set.
Starter set indicates that this is a product for anyone, not just for gift giving. I might think about using the product for myself.
If I was new to what this is, I would definitely buy the starter set until i knew more about it. The gift set seems like something i would buy for someone else.
I like the idea of a "starter" set which indicates there are other things to add to it in the future.
After carefully studying and comparing both product names displayed above, I selected Option A over Option B as my first preference and the one that I would more likely click on to learn more about. I felt that DAILY ESSENTIALS STARTER SET would make me curious about how the products could benefit me personally. However, I felt that both names were quite acceptable.
A slightly more detailed name that better explains what you're getting.
A "starter set" is something I'd buy either for myself or a gift. A "Gift set" feels appropriate only as a gift, I'd feel strange getting it for myself.
The name that I would choose would really depend on who I was shopping for. If it was for me I would get option A because it seems like a basic kit to get me going. If I was buying for someone else would buy option B as it makes me think this is something that would be needed as a gift and would include all of the basic necessary items.
This makes it seem like the items are very necessary and it makes them sound more exclusive this way
I prefer starter. I probably wouldn't buy myself a gift set.

Option B sounds like it will be a more enjoyable gift rather and a starter set. A starter set sounds like it will require some work.
I feel like the gift set makes it seem more appealing and luxurious than starter set.
Gift set sounds like it would be a good idea to get someone as a gift
I chose B because the other option says "starter set" so it seems very basic and plain. Gift set makes me think it is more complete and is not as basic.
I LIKE THE WORDING OF GIFT SET INSTEAD OF STARTER KIT. I DON'T KNOW THAT EVERYONE WOULD NEED A STARTER KIT
I chose B because a gift set sounds more desirable and professional than a starter set. A starter set has a connotation of only being basic or for people who don't know what they are doing yet.
i like using gift set
Gift feels more appealing and gives me an idea for a gift, which is something I struggle with sometimes
I don't like the use of "starter" as it seems like you are not getting everything you need. "Gift" makes it sound more like a complete package.
The idea of a gift set sounds nice to me.
I choose choice B because it makes me feel like I'm getting a special deal... or a gift of some sort.
I LIKE OPTION B THE BEST
The gift set seems like it is actaully something of worth rather than a starter set. The word starter makes it feel like the ingredients or the product is unnatural or basic.
Gift just sounds nicer and more positive.
I think that option B sounds more sophisticated as a gift set versus a starter set.
