Rank which oproduct name best represents product description: “This product extracts data from applications (i.e. Salesforce, Google Analytics, Excel, etc.) and then replicates this data in a cloud data warehouse to be used by business intelligence tools.
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

Cloud connect is catchier than the rest
Cloud connect clearly states that it is collecting information from the cloud. It is something most people would understand. Data Integrator and Data Pipelines could confuse people who aren't familiar with technology and its language.
Cloud Connect has a better understanding to what the product actually does and where it lives
Cloud connect is the best because it sounds unique. Then I prefer ones that are easier to understand
These just sound very professional and like a company I would want to use.
Cloud Connect is a simple clean efficient representation of the product.
I like Cloud Connect because it feels like it's connecting a lot of different spaces. Data Loader and Integrator are both good names as well, but I don't really like them. I do like Cloud Connect, it's really catchy.
I feel that this product name best represents the product's description in a way that's easily conveyed. It's simple and effective for the majority of people that would have interest.
Cloud connect sounds the most relevant to something that uses the cloud
Cloud Connect makes more sense to me and is easier to remember. Data Integrator and Data Pipelines have contain words that give you some understanding of the concept.
Cloud connect has a really good sound to it in terms of what it is for. The service that is provided is cloud based so the suits it perfectly.
Cloud would be my first choice because in the cloud is where the data gets shored.
Choice A makes it clear right away that it is a cloud based service. Choice D explains that it will integrate the information in to something, just not what. Choice C just sounds better than Choice B.
I like all the names.
I like these names and think they would be the right fit for what the idea is about
They sound like what the description seems to be.
I think this name sounds the best. More attractive and catchy I think.
I think Option A represents the product description due to the fact that it has the word cloud. Cloud connect sounds like the product description where the data is replicated in a cloud data warehouse. My second choice is Data Loader due to the fact that it means data is loaded onto the cloud data warehouse. Option A has a more direct and similar name to the product description.
I like Cloud Connector because I feel like it best incorporates the cloud warehouse integration of the service. It also just feels like a catchy product name - informative without being too technical or boring. I find Data Pipelines to be a close second because it also covers the concept of the product without sacrificing interest.
I voted for Choice A because there is a lot of talk about the "Cloud," so Cloud Connector would be a term most people would be familiar with. Second, I chose Data Integrator because it describes the action well. I chose Data Pipeline third because it provides a nice visual of what will be virtually happening to the data.
I believe that a is clear
It is most representative of a cloud infrastructure
Cloud Connect is the most interesting and descriptive of all of them. I know just what it will do by the name. Data Integrator makes it clear that it will integrate two sets of date but it could be on any server not necessarily in the cloud. Data Loader could be on any server and it doesn't tell me that the data is integrated. Data Pipeline was just kind of boring.
Those felt the easiest to tell people and then explain what it is you actually do.

I feel I understand the process almost instantly with the name from Option B, Data Pipelines.
I chose the best option on down the line
Overall, I feel like "data pipelines" best captures the transport and integration of data, so I preferred Option B. Option A was a close second because I like that it actually has the word "cloud" in it, but ultimately I felt like B better reflected the functionality that the user would be interested in. I didn't really like C or D, but thought D was an okay third choice.
I think the name help define the meaning to the prospective user.
I like all of them other than integrator. Integrator is kind of an industry term and a lot of folks don't like it.
Collecting the data to make it more useful in other programs seems to be a pipeline to me.
They are all self explanatory, the first is more catchy
I like Data Pipelines the best of the options because it creates a vision of connection and streamlining. Cloud Connect is good as well, but it makes me think of Apple. Data Integrator is straight to the point, but less fun than the other two.
I like pipelines, it's original and makes sense with what it does.
I like the Data pipeline as it sounds the best and most intriguing
I went with the picture that popped in my head when reading the question. This is how I made my choices.
I chose this one by far because data pipelines explains how this all happens. You extract and then pipeline it for replication down the line. Then data integrator and then data connect. These two would be my last picks because they do explain, but a vague explanation. It doesn't say that it extracts, just that it integrates and connects. This typically to me means the last part of the app. Which integrates and applies.

Data Loader and Cloud Connect both are catchy and describe basically what the service would do. This helps to remember the name and purpose easily.
I ranked the names I thought was catchiest from most to least.
Some of these options seem less unique than others, but overall it seems like these product names are somewhat generic in nature.
I think that option C makes the most sense, since "Data loader" somewhat tells me that I can easily manipulate data with this program. Data integrator essentially tells me the same thing. Data pipelines would be my third and least favorite of the top three choices. Cloud connect could be anything, so it doesn't tell me much about what the program does.

These names seem to sound best and yet give the best description too
The phrase "cloud" is over-used and not really the important part of the service (extracting the data and getting to business intelligence tools). Data Integrator (D) gets this idea--the most important one about the product--across most clearly. C and B are close and also do this to an extent, but D combines being the clearest and the most unique.
These feature wonderful diction in this order
I like Data Integrator because it is relatively self explanatory. I also like Cloud Connect because it is catchy.
I tried to pick my top three choices, given how easy it would be for me to associate the name with the description of the product. I tried to pick choices that made sense to me. The more sense the name was, the higher I put it on my list.
When I made my choices I thought about what the product does and what the end result would be if a person used the product. I feel that the name should reflect what the product does and what it will accomplish for the person using it so I chose based on what I felt made an appropriate description for the purpose of the product
I didn't think that "pipelines" described the product well at all.
Integrator is the prefect word for this.
D choice is best as it uses common IT terminology for data movement and transformation. C also uses IT terminology relating to data movement, but the word load is somewhat dated. A is least relevant as it indicates connectivity and not really data movement or transfer.
I like Data - that is the most important element, so it's good to use it in the name.
