Which business name do you prefer for a sneaker/apparel/luxury resale platform?
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 29 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
A | 34% 17 votes | 34% 17 votes | 58% 29 votes +12 |

I prefer A because I think it explains the platform the best with its name alone.
I like reforms the most. I think this name sounds catchy and it also sounds like a website similar to ebay, stockx , and so on as well. It sounds the most like a resale site compared with the other options.
I think with Option A that there is a way to market Reforms as a way to resell luxury items. Gokong sounds like going big, so I chose option C next. Finally, Tosoro means nothing to me.
I like Reforms for such a platform. The name speaks for its business model of reselling and does it in a creative way that would work great for such a business, especially as it's easy to read as well to recall.
I didn't care for most but I think A seems the better one.
Reforms sounds a little better than the others, but I still think you could come up with a better name. None of these sound like a luxury resale site, and they're not memorable.
I prefer Option A - Reforms because I think it aligns with the type of products being offering and also because it is a resale platform. The word "reform" implies to make changes to something and I feel that as a reseller, it means the items can go to new homes versus being thrown away. This is especially good in cases where recycling isn't an option.
Option A makes sense with reform and reselling. B sounds kind of cool. Going sounds silly I thought about Donkey Kong.
After carefully considering all the four choices, I have come to the conclusion that option A would be the most suitable one followed by option B, C, and D. in my opinion, option A has an exceptional name that is directly related to the nature of the business. The name is catchy, memorable and has the potential to attract more customers. Overall, option A appears to be the most practical and effective option for the business
I want it to be memorable and easy to say.
This name makes the most sense and is relevant to the average consumer.
Choice A would probably be my favorite. I like it when brand names are in some way related to what they sell or do, which only A really satisfies in this case. 'Reforming' obviously being a good synonym for resale or reuse - the platform's function.
Among the options provided, "Reforms" has positive connotations and could work well for a sneaker/apparel/luxury resale platform. "Reforms" suggests positive changes and improvements, which aligns with the idea of finding and acquiring quality items through the resale platform.
I personally think 'reforms' is a really good way to describe the quality of the apparel. It reforms any of your expectations that you'd have for normal sneakers and clothing!
I like Option A the most because I found it easy to say and it coveys an idea about identity when wearing the shoe.
Out of the available options, I prefer to option A. Because the name of the option is super luxury and attractive. The name is so cool and believable so people will easily believe in this business.
This one makes it sound like it is environmentally responsible. It seems newer and more approachable.

Tosoro sounds like a high end platform along with reforms, both fit the naming scheme I would expect with the service for a buy and sell platform
B and A are the easiest names to remember. I think they all look good and are easy to pronounce
Tosoro is my favorite name, because it sounds like it converts the act of tossing something into "oro" or gold. From there, Reforms also gives off a good impression, because it suggests that used goods can get a new life with someone else, and Gokong is in third place because it doesn't really bring any thoughts to mind, but at least sounds proactive. Because at least two of these names sound good to me, I had to rank D (the default option for "none of these") in last place
Tosoro is easy to pronounce and simple. Gokong sounds really weird and low status.
The name rolls off the tongue and could potentially be memorable
tosoro sounds like sneakers or sales which would unfold on someone
Option B sounded the most unique and made the most sense. Option A had a better ring to it than option C. Optio c didn't really make me think of a sneaker brand. Option d I felt wasn't true which is why I ranked it last.
I would choose choices B and C first because then names are unique and more classic to me as compared to choices A and D for me.
I think only Tosoro sounds unique and easy to remember, the rest just seem too generic or weird to me.
The name sound exotic and can be relatable to luxurious products or treasures

I prefer C because the name sounds quirky and fun.
Option C is the best one because it stands out and it has just an overall unique and exciting type of name for a potential brand.
Gokong looks good and convenient for this luxury brand because it's an original name and easy to remember.
Go kong sounds fun and like it would focus on Hong Kong imports. Tosoro sounds catchy. I don't care for reforms... sounds negative and like the products are reissues with problems.

All of these names sound like gibberish and would never make me think of a resale platform and instead would make me think of some kind of foreign scam.
I think learning about what inspired the names would help. They seem a little abstract.
I go for option D"I am not satisfied with any of these choice" since I don't find any of the name relevant to a sneaker product very odd names.
I am not satisfied with these names. I do not find them appealing.
None of these names sound upscale or luxurious to me.
I choose option D because none of the options really resonated with the idea of the business in my opinion.
I prefer business names that give at least a hint as to what they do. I don't feel like any of these names do that. I ranked the options then by the sound of the name, the last being A, because it sounds like it should be related to ex-cons or perhaps recycling.
I really dont think any of the names are relatable or good but i ranked the rest on which ones i thought were the strongest.
A is cliche, and B and C does not make any sense to me. I'm not a big fan of any of the names because they are all boring and want stand a chance against giants like eBay
I am not a fan of any of the names. I do not think that any of them are particularly memorable for a brand name of this platform. I also feel that they don't fit that well as brand names. The only one that kind of sounds like a brand name is Tosoro but as said before, I don't think it works for this platform.
I would go with option D because to me I don't like any of the choices for the names above.
To be honest i have not found any interesting name from the above and i am not satisfied with any of these choices so my first choice is option D .My suggestion of the business name is "Revision ".
None of them sound luxury to me, or sneakers /shoes, or apparel. Tosoro sounds the most exotic.
Very poor name options, it would even be tough to tell what the brand deals with since the name does not give a clue of the product line.
None of these names are appealing to me from an immediate impression.
None of these names appeal to me, they sound so off and uninteresting. How about a simple yet memorable name like just ELASER? It is the word resale but written backwards.
I personally do not like the names for any of the brand name as it does not sound interesting and the name can not appeal the users or customers for purchasing the product.
D is my first choice because I don't think any of these brand names are right for a sneaker, apparel, and luxury resale platform. C is my second choice because other than D, the brand name, GoKong, sounds like an upscale Chinese brand name. A is my third choice because the brand name, Reforms, sounds like this company can help you change your image and reform yourself. B is my fourth choice because it has the worst sounding title among all the choices and doesn't really emphasize what the general purpose of this product is since the brand name, Tosoro, sounds like the word, Torso, which doesn't suit the general purpose of this product and what it can truly do.
I really hate all these choices. B sounds Italian, which I like, but Fila is such an established brand, I wouldn't wear any other brand. I don't know what a Gokong is. It sounds like Donkey Kong to me. Too juvenile. Choice A sounds like "reform school", or "juvenile detention". Does this mean the clothes are orange? Choice A is just not an appealing choice for an apparel brand.
