Which name do you prefer for a business that provides maid services
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 27 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
C | 54% 27 votes |
B | 42% 21 votes |
A | 4% 2 votes |

this would be my choice order but A, is #1 simply because it has the words maids in it
A has the best ring to it
21 Responses to Option B
If I was paying for a maid I would want my place to be spotless. This name describes that and it also has a nice ring to it that I have no problem remembering. I would chose C second because it is simple and to the point and the last option just sounds a little weird
I think Spotless Space sounds the best.
I like Spotless Space a lot, there's alliteration which is fun, it makes sense, its catchy.
B sounds like a service I would want to have. C is also appealing as a service, although "Quarters" makes me think more of a communal type setting. A has a slightly obscene sound to it. "Dirty" has a double meaning and it makes me think of the sexy French maid outfits.
I ranked the names for the maid service business that I liked the most. I found the name "Spotless Space" to be the most appealing followed by the name "Clean Quarters" and then finally the name "Dirty Digs Maids".
B and C both suggest cleanliness, whereas A is literally implying that the customer is "dirty". Also, nobody actually refers to their home as their "digs" any more, so it also seems very out-of-touch. If that's a real suggestion, it's remarkably tone deaf and borderline stupid.
I like A to a certain extent because it's playful and humorous, but I don't know that a lot of people know the slang digs these days and would be very confused. I would have to go with B because the alliteration is attention-getting and pretty memorable. Clean Quarters sounds a little like the military and not as accessible as B.
I like B the most. It makes you feel that your home will be cleaned spotlessly and plays on the double S. C is also good but reminds me of just cleaning one section of the house. A just sounds like a low end cleaning source to me.
I like option B the best. I like spotless space the best. It is very witty and sounds good
I prefer the name in option B because it sounds the most innovative and different. Option C sounds pretty standard to me. Option A sounds the least enticing to me.
I like Option B as I think 'spotless' makes me happier knowing how clean my space could be if I use this company.
A sounds like an illegal business. B is very clean sounding.
I like option B the best, I think that Spotless Space is the cleanest and most professional sounding. I like how it flows and it sounds nice when said out loud. Option C I think is the next best option because it still sounds fairly professional but not as much of a flow as option B. I think that A is the least attractive because it doesn't sound super professional.
Spotless Space is my preference, as it's alliterative, and would be easy to remember after I only saw it once. Dirty Digs Maids is clunky, but a little better than Clean Quarters, which isn't memorable at all.
I picked B because Spotless Space is not only catchy but its the goal of the customer base.
I like options B and C best because they sound like wholesome companies. Option A sounds like a stripper agency.
I do not prefer a maid service which has the term "maid" in it. I really like option B, it makes me curious about the service
Spotless Space sounds very nice. Clean Quarters is decent. Dirty Digs Maids sounds like a porno.
I think the names in B and C sound the most professional
B has a nice ring to it and is easier to remember
I like the names that specify the results. I don't like the word dirty in the name.
27 Responses to Option C
Clean Quarters is the most professional sounding name out of these options.
Option C really stands out to me. It's quirky and fun. I like option A as well as it has maid in it
C is whimsical and immediately invokes maid services. B is less direct but still communicates the message of maid services, however it seems contrived. A sounds like some kind of pornographic movie and is thus my bottom choice.
To be honest i do not like any of these. They really do not come off as names of businesses. Definitely do not like Dirty Digs
I love C and B equally. I think they’re creative and sound really good. I think A is just kind of an unattractive name and sounds cheap though. I like C the most because it’s the simplest but C and B are both good!
It gets to the point faster. It is more relevant to the services provided.
C will sound most attractive to most people. It’s memorable and catchy.
None of these are super memorable and would probably need a strong logo or tag line to go with it but option C is the best
To mention dirty gives off a vibe that the service leaves your home dirty. Clean quarters projects a nicer image than spotless space, which may sound more like it's cleaning your office.
A just does not sound right at all. Do not want dirty in the title.
I feel like this name has a certain ring to it. It sounds more memorable to me.
I like the notion of C. Clean is self explanatory and quarters infers a clean living space, no matter if it is a house or an apartment or smaller dwelling space.
Option A has a negative sound to it and places a bad impression toward the spaces it would clean.
I chose option C. I like "Clean Quarters." I think this is a great name and one I would remember.
Option C stuck out at me first, it has the catchier and more memorable name.
It is more commercial and indicates the type of activity
Option C is the best because the name is simple and easy to remember for all customers
Choice C is the name that I prefer the most because I liked the name the best. It just had a good sounds and vibe to it. It make me think of just a clean room, specifically a bedroom, and how nice it would be to have one cleaned. Choice B is second to me because the name is solid enough to me. When you are hiring a cleaning service you want them to do a job well enough where the place looks spotless. So the name works in that regard. Choice A is last because the name just came off as weird to me. I preferred the clean connotation names of Choices C and B to the dirty sounding one of Choice A. I just did not like the vibe from it.
I get a better sense that this one has to do with cleaning. Plus I like the name better than the other ones.
Dirty Digs Maids sounds like a stripping and cleaning service, and I don't think you want that! But Options C and B are both good, with C edging out Spotless just a bit!
Clean Quarters sounds very good and befitting for this service.
I like the ring of my first choice and I like a simple and short name the best.
Clean Quarters is my solid favorite, it is reminiscent of ships and the navy who are notorious for keeping spaces tidy, no matter the size. This strikes the balance of describing what the company is, the high level of quality they would bring, and your expectation should you choose them.
Clean quarters is a professional yet self explanatory name for a maid service
C gives a great name and pops also makes me think how well of a job they will do. B is good as well but does not pop as much as C does. A i do not like it makes it seem like it is limited as to what they do.
'Clean Quarters' is more reasonable and goes well with the services proposed. The name in option A doesn't sit well with me.
C and B both seem like cleaner names than A, and C is luxury sounding.
