Which name is more appealing for a company that automatically creates video compilations for special occasions?
22 Responses to Option A
A compilation is a mix, so I think VideoMixr is more descriptive of the site,
B sounds like a kitchen appliance
It seems to make more sense and be more relevant to the job that they perform
good
Since it is capturing the mixture of special moments in special occasions
'mix' is a well known term in audio/video editing
It fits with the moden Web-2.0 type websites, and is shorter, more clever.
B sounds like something you'd smoosh stuff together in. A sound more modern & to the point.
Blender is already pretty commonly known as a different company; I don't love "mixr," but at least it's distinctive.
"Mixr" makes it sound more like a social event, a "mixer"
Sounds like a party rather than a kitchen tool
Video"Blender" makes me think of the kitchen appliance.
power
Option B is too bland and too ambiguous.
More to the point mixes different scenes into compliations
When I think of "Blender" I think puree or margarita. Mixr makes me think more about putting things together, or like mixing songs or something.
its good
VideoBlender sounds like a modern appliance for Julia Child. Stick with VideoMixr.
I just think it sounds better.
i like videomixr. its cool
"Blender" sounds like it would be chopped into tiny pieces
It looks cooler.

I can relate to this one better, more vibrant.
VideoMixr is not professional because of the missing "e."
I like VideoBlender because I think it is age neutral. Leaving out vowels, which is common in texting, has a young connotation.
Sounds more professional.
Sounds vibrant, energized and less like a lost DJ
it is gaining more attraction
Blender sound more relaxed and enjoyable mixr sounds wild and loud
Mixr looks like it was not 'mixed' well ... blender is intact (as a word) so it does not seem as choppy. It gives me confidence that my compilation will look seemless and professional.
it is attractive
Explains the site well
easy to remember
Option B is more appealing to me because the incorrect spelling in option A is offsetting, and I do not find that it makes the title catchy.
it is attractive
videoblender sounds better, and videomixr sounds like it is for music only
It describes the company and a better brand - hard to remember the misspelling in "mixr"
sounds better
you want order not mixed up
VideoBlender is more evocative and unusual
Easier to say - "mixr" isn't a word
I like the image that it brings to mind of life experiences and such being blended together.
I like the sound of videoblender better than videomixr. Also I like that videoblender is spelled out.
Because you are blending your occasion into a video.
Option B has a better sound and more suggestive of an organized compilation of video.
VideoMixr sounds unprofessional
Blenders are cool, mixers are just ghetto
I like full words, it's more understandable, and appealing.
Option B is the best choice, it's the better sounding name of the two and fits the company description better.
i like the sound of it better
